Ch.7 Oh look a doggo

The next day the sun was out so no Cullen would be coming I guess. Unless they want people to know they are light up like disco balls. I had a problem with them not coming, because I would be pretty much alone, because of the whole scene with Jessica.

I got in the car with Bella and she looked at me and asked "What is it that makes you look tense?"

I smiled and said "Nothing, just didn't get enough sleep I guess." She shrugged her shoulders and drove the truck. When we reached the school, I saw Jessica and the company and she looked oddly determined, for some reason.

Sis looked at me and said "This looks rough…"

I said "There is nothing that a smile can't fix."

She looked at me and said "You are going to get kicked in the balls, if you say stuff like that."

I said "Touche." We then got out of the truck and Bella went ahead with the rest of them and Jessica stood by waiting for me. I looked at her and asked "How are you?"

She said "I am fine." We then walked a bit farther in silence then she looked at me and said "Look , Chris, I just wanted to say that I like you and I wanted to say this before you two become a thing."

I looked at her and stopped and said "Look Jessica, you are a very beautiful girl, you are smart, funny and initiative. But I see you like that, I don't think I have feelings for you."

She looked at me and smiled and said in a broken tone "Alright… I just wanted to ask… I'll see you in trigonometry."

She then ran away and I felt bad, but sometimes it is just better to pull the plug. The entire day sucked for me. I had to sit on a different seat because of the whole thing. I also had another problem: the full moon was near. I highly doubted the ability of the chains to do anything.

The next day the Cullens showed up and I saw Cat in the parking lot and I waved at her and she waved back. But it wasn't a stiff wave like last time.

We were in the cafeteria and I was still sitting at a different table, Bella instead of sitting with me but I told her otherwise. No need to isolate yourself for me. I was eating the lunch that she packed for me.

I was eating when someone sat next to me, it was Cat. She patted my shoulders and asked "Want to sit with us?"

I jokingly asked "You are not going to eat my lunch are you?" She chuckled and grabbed my arm and we then made our way to the Cullens table and I saw that Edward was not there, he was making his way to my sister.

We both sat down and I revealed my lunch, which was more like a dinner. I mean 8 club sandwiches filled to the brim. Emmet looked at it and asked "You sure eat a lot man."

I smiled and said "I burn through food man. I need energy." I then looked at Edward and said "He still likes to stay away from me?"

Emmet nodded and said "I mean at this point either go away or go for it. It should be as simple as that."

I said "Exactly man."

Alice then said "Oh, stop. He is trying his best."

I smiled and said "Not exactly. I mean if that dude went around and asked any girl here would anyone say no?" They had an obvious face, then I said "I mean all of you are ridiculously good looking. No one would say no. My sister is no exception."

Emmet said "He has a point though."

I said "Thank you."

I was then eating and then Cat looked at me and said in an undertone "If I asked?"

I said "Well, you haven't though." She was embarrassed and everyone looked amused except for Rosalie. Then Edward came back and saw me eating on this table and asked "You are here."

I said "Well, can't go to that table for a while." I then asked "Back from giving that cryptic message?"

He looked at me and asked "Why are you always on me?"

I smiled and said "Because, it is fun and I at least get to do this much, seeing I am her brother."

Emmet then looked at me and said "Should I also be doing this then?"

I smiled and said "Nah, I am fun as it is. It is just fun to tease Grandpa here." That got a laugh from everyone. Even Rosalie had a little smile on her face.

My sister constantly nagged me about what all of this meant, Edwards cryptic ass message and all that to add fuel to fire Jacob also had a cryptic ass story for my sister. And I am just thinking why is my sister not making a connection and why is she attracting all these supernatural creatures?

As usual I didn't say anything. But at this point I was contemplating is it worth it? Should I just tell her? Haa… this is just annoying. The next day again was a sunny day so no Cullens. Today I was a bit on edge because today is a full moon. And I have no idea what can happen.

My sister was getting a bit annoyed by my behaviour as well, which is pretty rude, cause I have been the most consistent with my behaviour. My sister wasn't able to drop me today because she was doing some dress shopping with the girls and by that I mean she was with them and they were doing the dress shopping.

As it started to get dark soon, I left the house but I left a note that I was with some friends, which is not a good lie to tell, at all. Because Charlie is a cop and doesn't want him to go all CSI on me. So I kinda threw Emmet under the bus. I mean he is a simple guy like me with a golden heart he will forgive me… I think.

So there I was in the forest, I was in the most dense area of the jungle, so that no one could hear me. When the night is upon me the moon will be out in an hour or so. So I started to prepare for the night.

I took out the hammer and the chains from the bag. I hammered the nails that were connecting the chains to the tree. I had about 10 chains. I distributed the chains to the trees around me and I made sure that the chains were long enough so that when I transform they don't start to choke me but also not so long that I can move about freely.

Honestly I had no idea how big I was going to be. Lucien never really contacted me after that day. I was doing this when I got a whiff of a familiar smell and I heard her footsteps suddenly stop. I was chaining my feet when I said "It would be better if you came down to help me you know?"

She heard me and dropped down from the tree. The tree was about 25 feet away. She walked toward me and asked "What are you doing Chris?"

I said "What are you doing here Cat?"

She said "Your father called our house saying you are staying over? Why were you lying? And why are you tying yourself to a tree."

I sighed and said "Emmet lied for me though right?"

She looked confused and said "Yeah we did. But…"

I sighed and said "Haa… I am in transition."

She looked at me and asked "What are you?"

I said, "A monster of the same caliber as you." I then gave her my arm.

She was locking me up and said "Why are you still circling can't you just say it?"

I said, "What. I like you?"

She then looked away but I saw a slight smile on her face but then she forced me down on my knee and finished chaining me up and then looked at me and asked "What are you?"

I looked at her and said "Werewolf."

She looked at me and asked "You mean a shapeshifter?"

I said "Not exactly. I still don't know much about it. But after today I will be a full fledged Werewolf."

She then asked "Will it be painful?"

I said "yeah, but I am strong."

She then crouched down and looked at me and asked "Do you want me to stay with you?"

I shook my head and said "No."

She looked at me and she looked determined and said "I am strong you know."

I chuckled and said "I am sure you are but I don't want to risk hurting you."

She looked at me and said "What if I just stay?"

I looked at her and said "Cat, I still don't know what I am capable of doing. And I don't want you to b…" Something inside me started to burn, it was like an incredible fire inside me. She looked at me and was concerned and she was saying something but I couldn't understand anything because I could only hear the beating of my heart which was beating like a machine gun.

Then suddenly my bones started to break and not being able to bear the pain I let out a blood curdling scream and she looked at me in horror and I managed to utter "go" She didn't want to but I screamed "Go!!!!!" She looked at me and had a painful expression on her face and left as soon as she did.

The bones now started to reform themselves. It started to rearrange, my body also started to add muscles as well. And the chains were now at their limit. My hair growth also accelerated and ash grey hair started to cover my entire body. And now the chains started to come undone. The chains of the legs broke and I stood up. Then the chains on the stomach broke then the chains on the hands broke. Then I ripped apart the chain on my neck.

I was now standing 11 feet tall, I had an ash grey pelt with red eyes and a snout. I looked at my hands and I now had claws, I could see far away in the dark, my hearing was enhanced as well. I could hear every creature that roamed the forest.

I then felt something inside me and I started running. I don't know why and I didn't know where? All I knew was that I needed to go there.
