7. Tests

Aizawa was a difficult teacher to deal with. During his career, he had expelled 154 students. His hero name was EraserHead. His Quirk allowed him to ´erase´ his opponents Quirk. However, he can only activate his power if his eyes are open and aimed at his opponent.

¨Our ´freedom´ means we dispense with students as we please!

¨Welcome to this-! The department of heroics!¨

His first day had become interesting after all. Deku sharpened his senses alongside the other students around him.

¨The kid who ranks last... gets expelled...?!¨

Deku had used his mind reading Quirk on Aizawa. ´-is one hardship after the next.´ He mocked in his head.

´Hehe. This will be fun.´ At least now, using his Quirk on the unknowing Aizawa, he knew he wasn't actually going to expel anyone. ´Can't fool me.~´

¨This is Plus Ultra.¨ Aizawa said.¨I expect you to overcome these trials and climb to the top.¨

´I could even show off a power or two while I'm at it.~´ He thought, excited.

¨Now then. That was the demonstration. Time to step up to the plate.¨

First Trial: The Fifty Meter Dash

Iida burst forth from the starting point using his Quirk, Engine, which was exactly what it sounded like. He had engines on his legs that accelerated his speed.

¨3.04 seconds!¨

Asui Tsuyu had a time of 5.58 seconds. Her Quirk was frog.

Uraraka managed a time of 7.15 seconds, barely less than her middle school time. She had used her Quirk, Zero Gravity to lighten her clothes and allow her weight to lessen.

Some had flashy Quirks like Aoyama and his Naval Lazer. Others had simple Quirks, like Mina Ashido and her Acid.

Finally it would be time for Bakugou and Midoriya. Bakugou gave Deku a glare before yelling, ¨BLAST RUSH!!¨ and shooting explosions behind him. Deku barely scraped by, increasing the strength in his legs, jumping ahead of Bakugou at the last second. ¨You...¨ That bastard! He shot that explosion at him on purpose! ´That son of a- No. I shouldn't get into trouble so soon… it's not time yet.´

He averted his gaze away from the other teenager, who shot him a glare. He was still the same nerd from middle school. Not sticking up for himself like a coward. But where the hell did that power come from?! All these thoughts went through Bakugou's spiky head.

Before the other teen could walk away he grabbed his arm. ¨Deku! You better meet me after all this is over! I´ll be waiting at the gate.¨

¨What's this? A date?¨

¨F*ck you!¨

´Hehe. Its so fun to push his buttons.´

¨Okay, Bakugou~¨ He smirked. ¨I'll be there so don't worry.¨

¨Tch.¨ He had to take back his thoughts from before. This wasn't the old Deku. Old Deku was less of a pain in the ass.

Bakugou had a time of 5.58 seconds, while Midoriya made a time of 5.47 seconds.

Aizawa had been observing the teenager for a while now. He noticed something strange about the teenager when he smirked at his speech. His face gave off a weird vibe. Did this kid really want to be here? For that woman to go as far as to give him a recommendation…

Second Trial: The Grip Strength Test

For this test, Midoriya added strength into his right hand, which held the hand dynamometer. He used half of his strength, maintaining 600 kilograms of grip strength. ´I shouldn't stand out too much. It could cause problems later on.´

¨Woah! 540 kilograms?!¨ A black haired student said, catching Dekus attention. ¨What are you? A gorilla?!¨ He said to a guy with multiple limbs. ¨No-- you're more of an octopus!¨ He was the one with the tape Quirk. Sero was it?

¨Someone say octopus? Hot.¨ Midoriya cringed at the pint sized, purple haired pervert.

Next was the long jump, which he did fairly well on, considering that Bakugou had thrown another explosion directly his way.

Then the sustained sideways jumps. The small pervert, which he now knew was Mineta, did okay on because of his size.

The fifth trial was the pitch. Uraraka got an infinite score by making the ball weightless. ´How am I supposed to surpass that?´ He thought as he walked up to pitch.

¨Midoriya has been doing fairly well so far, don´t you think?¨

¨Of course not!¨

¨He passed you in the fifty meter dash though.¨

¨Hahh?! Wanna go four eyes?!¨

¨Shut it, Bakugou.¨ Izuku said, voicing his thoughts out loud. ¨I can't concentrate.¨

¨You-!¨

This was pissing him off. He hasn't even used his full strength. He show that pineapple what he was capable of! He threw the ball hard enough that the dust around him got blown away.

¨… 705.3 meters.¨ Aizawa was confused. He swore he just erased the kid´s Quirk so how did he manage that strength? Something is wrong here…
