6. BeanBagMan

Izuku sauntered through the Yuuei school entrance. He had arrived a little late.

Late enough where everyone would already be in class but not so late it would affect him. Class probably hadn't even started yet.

¨This place is too big...¨ Every year, less than one in three-hundred examinees make it into the top class school. ¨1A...Where is it…?¨ Only thirty seven kids passed the entrance exam. There was that other person who got in with a recommendation, too. That would make enough students for two classes at least.

He finally arrived. ¨Well… this door is humongous.¨ Mount Lady had graduated from Yuuei and adjustments had to be made to the school grounds. No wonder the building was so huge!

He pushed the door open.

The chattering that had been going on stopped, all heads turned to the newcomer.

¨D-Deku?¨ Kacchan´s baffled face was so worth the wait. Izuku choked back a laugh. The teacher wasn't even in the room yet.

¨What are you doing here you son of a b*tch?!¨--Bakugou got out of his seat, stomping towards Izuku,--¨You were supposed to be missing!¨

He always had to complicate things, didn´t he? ¨Do I know you?¨ Izuku forced himself not to laugh. This moment was too hilarious! He wanted a camera!!

¨What do you mean?! You stupid f*cker! What is this bullsh-!¨

¨Shut up. You are getting annoying.¨ Izuku walked to his seat, leaving a baffled Kacchan standing in the middle of the room.

Who was this? Izuku had never spoken to him like that! Where was the submissive idiot that would follow him around all the time?

A tall guy with glasses walked over to Midoriya´s desk. ¨Hello I am Iida Tenya.¨

¨Uh, hi.¨ Why not make a friend or two while he was here? He didn't need to be entirely hostile. He wasn´t told he couldn't befriend people either. He shouldn´t get too attached either. These people were to be his enemies.

¨How did you manage to make that guy get off your back?¨ Kacchan had apparently already made an impression on the class. ´Sorry to ruin that for you Kacchan~´ Izuku chuckled. ¨I don´t know him at all. I have no idea why he came at me like that.

¨Anyway,¨--he smiled,--¨…nice to meet you, Iida-kun.¨

Ä brunette with a small frame walked over. ¨Hi! I´m Ochaco Uraraka! I didn't see you during the entrance exams!¨

¨Ah… I got in with a recommendation.¨

¨Really? Just like Todoroki-kun! That's so cool!¨ Todoroki had heard his name called and turned his head at the three. ´That must be him...´ Kacchan had already returned to his seat, making eye-contact with Deku.

He could feel Kacchan´s glare on his back. ´That's some murderous intent he´s got.´

¨If you´re gonna be hunting for buddies, do it elsewhere.¨ Oh there's a guy… in a sleeping bag? ¨This is the department-¨ He said, taking a sip from his juice box,¨--of heroics!¨

Who the hell is this? The teacher?

The man shuffled out of his sleeping bag. ¨It took you guys a while to quiet down.

¨Life is short kids. You´re all lacking common sense.¨

So this must be a pro-hero as well. Izuku had never heard of him. The man looked so worn out. His eyes were droopy and his hair was out of place. Not to mention he arrived in a bean-bag.

¨I´m your homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shouta.¨ He shoved uniforms at the students.

¨Wear these. Then shove off to the P.E. grounds.¨

¨A Quirk apprehension test?!¨

¨What about the ceremony?¨

¨And the guidance counselor meeting?!¨

Mr. Aizawa rolled his eyes. ¨If you want to be heroes, we don't have time for frilly niceties.

¨You all understand the school's reputation for freedom on campus. Well, that ´freedom´ goes for us teachers, too.¨

¨Softball pitch, standing long jump, fifty meter dash, endurance running, grip strength test, sustained sideways jump, upper body exercises, seated toe-touch.

¨These are all activities you know from middle school, naturally. Physical tests where you weren't allowed to use your Quirks.

¨Bakugou,¨--he called,¨--how far could you pitch a softball in middle school?¨

¨Sixty seven meters.¨ He immediately replied.

Aizawa signaled him to step into a circle that had been figured on the ground. ¨Try using your Quirk this time around. As long as you don´t exit the circle, anything you do is fine.

¨Don´t hold back.¨

Bakugou got into a throwing position. ¨You got it.¨ He pulled back his throwing arm and threw the softball, boosting the pitch with some shock wave power, creating a loud explosion. ¨DIE!!¨

´Die..?´

The ball fell back, hitting the ground.

¨Before anything else, one must know what they're capable of.¨ Aizawa said, looking at the device that measured the distance thrown, ¨This is a rational metric that will form the basis of your ´hero foundation.´¨ 705.2 meters.

¨Awesome! That looks so fun!!¨

¨705 meters!? Thats unreal!¨

¨We can really use our Quirks now? That's the department of heroics for you!¨

´Trials? Already?´ Izuku thought. That was mildly surprising but he wouldn't have too much trouble.

¨It looks fun… you say...¨ Uh oh. Did they hit a nerve? ¨So you were planning to spend your three years here…

¨Having a good ol´time? What happened to becoming heroes?¨

´A lot happened.´ Was what went through Izuku´s head. ´A lot.´

¨All right then. In that case, new rule: The student who ranks last in total points will be judged ´hopeless.´

¨--and instantly expelled.¨
