Li Lei 's wrath (part1)
The next day , the entire Gu family along with Qi Chenxi came to visit Li Yun .
Mother Gu wasn't happy with Qi Chenxi tagging alomg with them but she couldn't refuse her , thus , Mother Gu could only pursue her lips in tight line as a sign of displeasure .
"Here ; drink it . It will help you regain your energy "
Unlike her cold attitude towards Qi Chenxi ; Mother Gu was considerably warm to Li Yun .
Li Yun looked at the warm tonic of blood replenishing tonic ; then Qi Chenxi 's dark face .She knew that this was Mother Gu 's way of showing her support to her , therefore Li Yun didn't made any faces while drinking the bitter tonic and thanked Mother Gu for her care .
"Where is Jingze ? Is he not taking care of you ?" Mother Gu looked around the hospital room but she didn't see Gu Jingze and her expression turned gloomy .This son of her was really so troublesome!
"Mother ; don't blame brother .He went to grab meal for he..sister in law " Gu JingYe wanted to call Li Yun 'her' but a fierce glare from Gu Furan stopped him.Yesterday he and Gu JingHe had recieved a severe scolding from their grand father,mother and even from their little sister . Gu JingYe no longer dared to call Li Yun disrespectfully .
Just then Gu Jingze arrived carrying packed breakfast .
When Miao Jing saw Gu Jingze taking care of Li Yun , her expression became slightly better and she didn't scold Gu Jingze .
However; the atmosphere between both Gu Jingze and Li Yun was awkard .
Since neither of them have been at close proximity with each other , when Gu Jingze touched Li Yun to make her sitting position more comfortable , both sje and Gu Jingze stiffened .
However ; Gu Jingze was even more meticulous than Li Yun thought him too, in a spilt second he changed his awkard expression and helped Li Yun .
Qi Chenxi who was sidelined , was furious .It was only losing a child ! Why did that slut need to be taken care of by Gu Jingze ?
But no matter how furious she was ; she still had a graceful smile on her face . Looking at Gu Jingze she spoke softly
"Jingze , we have an urgent meeting with Mr .Chandler , shall I lead the meeting? "
When Qi Chenxi spoke the once harmonious atmosphere changed .
Gu Furan snorted but didn't speak .
Does that bitch think that she didn't know what she was doing?
Gu Jingze looked at Qi Chenxi , his eyes deep and unmoving , he wanted to agree to let Qi Chenxi lead the meeting .Since; he already knew what Qi Chenxi was planning .
however; Li Yun beat him to it as she lightly spoke
"Go , I'm fine ."Li Yun's eyelashes were fluttering as she looked down , the earlier blood loss has made her look even more pale than she usually was , looking at her like this Gu Jingze 's heart trembled , To him Li Yun was truly pitiful .
Qi Chenxi who had expected Li Yun to blow up , was shocked when she saw her acting so weak and pitiful . Her heart trembled , as a deep sense of foreboding made its way in her heart . Looks like Li Yun was even more difficult than she imagined !
Gu Jingze had no heart to meet with Mr .Chandler but He had to admit when Qi Chenxi said that the meeting was important , therefore, he could only calm his emotions and agree with Li Yun .
"Take care "
Gu Jingze wanted to say some more but words just won't come .After opening and closing his mouth a few times , he turned around and left .
Qi Chenxi followed suit .
"Mother; you should go to .I have Furan , she will take care of me .You're still sick mother , don't over stress yourself for my sake "
When Miao Jing heard Li Yun she wanted to decline but Li Yun was adamant thus Miao Jing could only instruct Gu Furan before turning around to leave .Once his mother left ; Gu JingYe left as well , since he drived his mother to the hospital .
With Gu Jingye's departure only Gu Furan and Li Yun were left in the ward .
"pfff" Now that Nobody was in the room., Gu Furan finally let out the laugh that she was holding in for the entire morning .
"What are you laughing at? " Li Yun was seriously bewildered , what will Make Gu Furan laugh like that when her best friend just almost died .
"Didn't you see that mother was treating Qi Chenxi , colder than usual "
Li Yun nodded , in the past Mother Gu wasn't hot or cold with Qi Chenxi but today she was totally giving Qi Chenxi cold shoulder .
"Thank me later " Gu Furan winked as she shut the door close .
"Whay did you Do?"
"Nothing , When I and Beichen left yesterday .I had this thought; that no matter how much your father hates you ; he isn't that courageous to go against Gu industries . I think someone else wanted to make use of your father ; to teach you a lesson but unfortunately that lesson was taken a little far away , so who do you think that person is?"
"Qi Chenxi " Li Yun already had her doubts earlier but with Gu Furan laying out every thing in the open she knew that sje was correct , in her past life Qi Chenxi could kill Her child, so why not in this life as well ?
"Correct! I wanted to tell Brother Jingze but Beichen stopped me .He said if I did that , than the goodwill you accumulated from taking that beating will vanish from brother 's heart .Instead he asked me to create trouble between Qi Chenxi and mom , Beichen said as long as mother hates Qi Chenxi , the latter can never marry brother Jingze . So I simply egged mother on . "
Li Yun nodded as she listened , Gu Furan was right .Tang Beichen 's father has a mistress in his home , therefore , Tang Beichen and his mother must be completely aware of all the schemes that one needs to play for supressing a mistress and her children .
"Doesn't master Tang hates , mistresses and their children"
