His change

Gu Jingze was supposed to be at office , having a multi-million meeting with a client from US but instead he deciced to let Xu Yi and Assistant Yang to take care of it . Maybe he was feeling guilty , therefore he turned everyone down and he , himself stayed behind to take care of Li Yun .No matter how much he denies it , the truth was , that she was his wife .As her husband it was his duty to take care of her .

It was your duty to protect her as well .

His mind nagged at him.

Gu Jingze shook his head in a an failed attempt to clear of his mind when he heard rustling from Li Yun 's bed .

She was awake .

Gu Jingze stood up to help her but Li Yun 's gaze stopped him , she was looking at him with a peculiar expression before her lips curled into a mocking sneer .

"You are not him are you ?-"

That was when Gu Jingze stopped , he watched as she lied down ;closed her eyes and started reminiscing of the past that he has forgotten for so long .

When he was twenty three , his grandfather sent him away from home .This was something that every Gu Family member , go through with . This was an old practices where the Gu family will stop sending money to their family 's child and would let them suffer the pain and suffering ; a normal working mam goes through .

This was to make them more down to earth and frugal .

Gu Jingze had to go with this test as well , since he was the household future master , his test was even harder .He wasn't allowed to call or have any connection with his family member . For six month he has to live a simple life .

If not for Li Yun he would have long forgotten about it . Yes , he did all those things but he never thought that Li Yun fell in love with him .

He didn't even had the slightest bit of inkling about Li Yun's feelings nor did he knew that Li Yun loved him so much .

This was a love he never felt or saw . He thought he loved Qi Chenxi but his love came with a bottom line , he would never , ever suffer so much for Qi Chenxi if he did love her so much then he would have married Qi Chenxi against his family's will , was it because he didn't loved her enough? or did he even loved Qi Chenxi?

Because if he did , why didn't he feel for Qi Chenxi just like Li Yun felt for him .Her love was so unrestrained ; without a bottom limit .Gu Jingze never thought he would one day feel so undeserving like he did now .

Li Yun's love for him surpassed the love he had for Qi Chenxi.

Gu Jingze rubbed his face , everything was such a mess he couldn't understand neither head or tail of it . Li Yun loved him, and she knew him before that means that she didn't helped his grand father with hidden motives , if she was someone so disgusting ; she had her chance when Gu Jingze was yet to ask Qi Chenxi out to date .

But she didn't she was to shy to even admit her feelings for six months of their working together and kept her feelings hidden for three years after she saw Him with Qi Chenxi , how can a woman like her be shameless enough to pester him?

Then again why did he became suspicious of her ? He was overly sensitive but he wasn't stupid .He wouldn't doubt someone without any rhymes or reason .

Qi Chenxi .

One name made its way in his mind. Yes ever since his grandfather ; decided Li Yun to be his wife , Qi Chenxi had been nagging him about it .Her intentions looked kind but when he thought carefully about , he realized That Qi Chenxi was infact playing mind games with him . She was waging psychological war with him , she knew that Gu Jingze was suspicious by nature ; therefore she made her statements in such a way ; that Gu Jingze became doubt ful of Li Yun .

Gu Jingze never blamed Qi Chenxi before; even when she kept coming to his house , even when he denied her , but now he realized how wrong he had been . His continuous pampering had made Qi Chenxi so fearless that she even started to scheme against him .While he understood that Qi Chenxi disliked Li Yun but he didn't appreciate her attempt to drive a wedge between him and Li Yun .

Now because of Qi Chenxi , his wife was distrustful to him so much .

Gu Jingze closed his eyes as exhuastion washed down on him .

There was Li Yun who was willing to even go hungry for a month just to let him live , she would even accept a divorce just to keep his child near her .

On the other hand there was Qi Chenxi who played such petty tricks against Li Yun ; who was never a threat to her in the first place . No matter how much Gu Jingze liked Qi Chenxi ; he couldn't take it that Qi Chenxi played behind his back .

"Why can't I hate you just like you do "

This one sentence kept repeating itself, with Li Yun 's tear stained face in his mind.
