Shadow guards.
feng-yan came with the man who take her to his camp site there was almost 50 men with armour and swords they all give cold aura which make them unapproachable that mysterious man take her toward the group of people who is setting fire for heat and light. when one of them notice his friend coming back to the camp he get up to greet him.
"no. 10 my friend what take you to came back that late" he said while putting on his friend shoulder no. 10 look at his friend no. 36 then at the little girl who look like doll no.36 notice his friend looking at his back he follow his gaze and saw a cute little white ball like head and dool size body he was shock by the sight of the cute little girl but he narrow his eyes and look at his friend.
"where you find this cute girl" his voice was cold the warmth in his voice was gone when he saw her "found her in the forest I'm going to report chief then we will see" no. 10 shift his gaze from the girl to his friend no. 36 he nodded his and took a last glace of the girl behind his friend who is quitely follow his friend without asking any question.
the shadow guard chief was looking at the girl with white colored hair and red eyes making her look very pretty just by a glace anyone will want to protect her from world. then he look at his fellow guard who is kneeling infront of him he sign "you find her in the path created by people" no. 10 nodded his head in reply and doesn't look up to look into his senior eyes the chief of shadow guard examine the girl and notice the small pouch made of second class silk hanging at her tiny waist then he look at the dress that the girl wearing realising that those pouch was made by the little girl by tearing one of the layer of her dress. he look at the thick book that the girl was holding in her hand actually embracing the book in her hand looking at her feet thinking that the girl must be scared by his chilly aura so he decide to tall to the girl to make her realise that he doesn't mean any harm but unknown to him the girl standing in front of him was not scared from him but trying to not to laugh cause the chief was wearing his shirt but not his trouser he was looking funny that why she was looking down to hide her smile.
"little girl what is your name" he ask the girl without looking at her feng-yan stop grinning when she heard the question but rather then replying she decide to act like her age she look at the chief in the straight in his eyes he was taken back he saw the ruby red eyes but he quickly maintain his composure and look at the girl eyes he notice confuse face of the girl then he realise that the girl in front of him is to small to understand and speak with a little frown he look at the kneeling guard and oder him " it's almost dark when the sun rise you will leave her at the nearby village" with that he trun around and head back to his tent.
no. 10 let out a deep breath that look like he was holding since the start he look at the little girl and said "let's go and eat something you must be hungry" saying that he pick up feng-yan in his arm feng-yan doesn't like when people pick her cause by her body she is a girl of one and half year but her soul is 23 and it felt weird when people pick her up but she doesn't complain cause of the two reason first she was to tired to walk second she don't want to scare the shit out of them by talking like a adult so she decide to cooperate.
"here eat this" guard no. 10 said whiling giving her a piece of rabbit leg feng-yan press her lips together when she look the leg piece but she can't eat it cause her mouth still not have grown her baby teeth fully she pout knowing she can't eat it she still drink milk and some vegetable soup. guard no. 10 look at her with full confusion before he can ask her he receive slap on his back of the head from one of the fellow guard he growl and glare at him.
"she can't hard meat let me cook her some soup" guard no. 5 reply with a blank face guard no. 10 show him cheesy smile. these always stay beside royal people protecting them that why they don't have time to start their family that why no one here know how to take care of baby. guard no. 5 start cooking some soup for her.
while feng-yan start opening all piece of cloth in which she had tied the herbs with lot of care she separate leaves from stems and other part of the plant when she was collecting herbs she doesn't have time to tied them into different pieces so she just decide to separate them later knowing that there will be no one who will ask her what she is doing after separating the herbs she look at the book and start flipping pages with narrowed eyes so she can't miss the page that she is searching after she found the page she found a small stone that can fit in her tiny hand and start mixing the herbs with her tiny hand cause of her weak body it take lot of time to mix the herbs. when guard no. 5 cooked the soup for feng-yan he bring the bowl of soup to the large rock where she was seating with her herbs and book she was smashing herbs with her tiny hand her hand was red cause of using force he shake his head not knowing what going inside the head of this little girl he place the soup down to let it cool down he take the herbs from feng-yan and start smashing them for her he doesn't said anything while doing it in just few sec he smash all herbs that was going to take almost take her whole day he put the smashed herbs in a bottle and give it to feng-yan she doesn't refuse his kindness and give him a bright smile. he feed her soup that he had cooked after that he leave from there leaving her alone. feng-yan look at the bottle filled with smashed herbs it only need one more herb to complete the medicine after that she will be available to treat big and deep wound with it.
