after that day Li Min start maintaining her distance with feng-yan while she her own self was busy in studying in medicine that age had forget about the plot.
Wang lei used to came home on holidays although those holidays was just few days but still feng-yan loved those few days on those days both fake mother and daughter put a grand show for Wang lei while he was happy about the fact that they both got along well with each other if someday both get to know about his thought they surely going roll their eyes.
currently family of three was seating around the table eating there dinner and Wang lei is going to border again on next four days Li Min was picking food form table and putting in the bowl of her husband she also put some in feng-yan bowl while she just kept her head down while eating her food when the fragrance of fresh rosted meat hit her nose she frown little cause there was very faint smell of herb which is thousand sleeping flower this herb can put someone in deep sleep for days but since the smell of flower was not that mature she can tell that the flower is just few year old and it's can put someone in sleep for few days.

" yan-yan what happen dear" Wang lei asked her when he saw her staring at her food.
upon her father call she came out from her daze she look at him and shook her head telling it nothing but she doesn't eat the meat which had the herb after that she look straight at Wang lei food which she had not notice but now she can smell a faint smell of drunken root it's a herbs which is used to alcohol wine here but they doesn't used straightly it needed to dry under sun for days then it boiled with clean water then it needed to store for a year then someone can drink it but Li Min had gotten her hand on this herb mean she had spend quite money on it although it not very expensive but still it hard to get it cause this herb is very famous in the town to get this herb the Li family had spend some money on it along with thousand sleeping flower.
moonlight was falling on her making her look like a painting her lips was curve slightly her eyelashes was trembling like butterfly wings she look at the Li Min eye when she remove her gaze from Wang lei plate li min had already seen her looking at his food she became little scared thinking that her little schemes had exposed but feng-yan but raise her eyebrow with teasing smile on her lips she raise her glass of water her face totally said "I have seen through your schemes" then she put her glass down and shrugged with a lazy manner saying "I don't care" with that she get up from her seat.
"father I'm done eating today I'm going to village library to get some books and I will stay there tonight" even if she was looking at her father her word was direct at her stepmother.
"okay but don't study to much you should care about your health" she just "hmm" in acknowledgement and leave the house its not first time she is staying at library of the village. the librarian of the library is a old lady and she very strict when it's come to books if someone accidently place the book at the wrong place you have to arrange the whole library as the punishment feng-yan doesn't like her much cause that old lady very arrogant since the library is made by royal place and the librarian is from imperial capital the main city of the west sun glory country she can mess around while looking down at the people of the village but the fact that the library is the most secure area of the village that why lot of kids go there even in night you can see kids in the corner of the library.
feng-yan love to read books about different things her book type was history of the kingdom, geology of the kingdom and mainly books about herbs. she doesn't study about cultivation cause whenever she try to absorb qi in her body but her body pain like hell it feel like someone cutting her skin with knives she don't even try to sense her plant type spirit beast there two type beast first spirit beast which is born with a person and died with that person and then cames qi spirit beast these beast are born like humans they have there own life without any connection between human but a human can form contract with a qi spirit beast and can make them there contract beast but these beast are prideful they prefer dying rather then following humans.
In this world there six type of profession that people do rather then cultivation alchemist, array master, beast tamer, weapon master, poison master and phramist people respect them a lot cause of there profession people can't provoke these master at all.
feng-yan had decide to study alchemy and paramist cause of the plot that going to happen at the age of eight and she currently eight year old there only few days in her hand to change her future Wang lei died on the eight day of his departure and she is also planning to going to the border to protect her father although she know that bet father is going scored her lot but still she decide to do that.
