Birthday of death

"Yay! It's my birthday!" I thought as I woke up. I went to the room of my parents and tried to wake them up, but they would not wake up. "Mom! Dad! Wake up you two! It's my birthday today!!" I almost cried as they did not answer. I shake there hands but the only thing I got were bloodstains on my hands. "What...no...no...please...NO!!!!"

With sweat on my forehead I woke up from the memory I dreamed off once again. Every night since my 9th birthday these dreams won't stop coming. "Why did it happen and who was it?" I asked myself like every day. I stood up and walked to my closet. I open it and only black and yellow clothes are to be seen. I am 19 now and I live alone. My only friend is Mint. She is a white Cat with a black dot on her forehead and green eyes. After changing into a black jeans and a yellow blouse. I got myself breakfast and put some cat-food into Mints food-bowl. Today I must go to my therapist, but the rest of the day I got spear time. After eating I packed my things and went out to go to my therapist. Since my parents death I've got a therapist to help me out, but it never helped me.

"Happy Birthday Sarah Tailor." My therapist said. "Oh it's my birthday today. I almost forgot." I answered and my therapist tried to change the subject "So you don't have anything to do today, that's good. I would like to introduce you to someone."

Me: Who?

Therapist: Someone who knows you since kinder garden. It would be good to meet someone from your past to remember some things.

Me: I already told you I do not want to remember my past.

Therapist: Are you really sure about that? It could help you to get through your past.

Me: "sigh" alright, just this one time!

Therapist: Good then I will call him so that he comes here.

After 15 minutes someone knocked on the door and the therapist opened the door. I just gave the person who came through the door a cold glance. He just sight and placed himself on a chair. My therapist seated himself on the other side of the room and told us to talk about something.

Me: So, who are you?

Guy: So you really don't remember me. I am Jack Race and I am 20 now. And I know that you are Sarah Tailor and you turn 20 today.

Me: So...how did we meet?

Jack: Nothing special. We just were in the same group in the kinder garden. But there was another person who played with us named Helena she always called you Mintmint because you liked mint-tea so much.

Me: Now I know why I named my cat Mint.

Jack: And you where full off energy.

Me: That's the only thing I know.

Jack: So you remember some things?

Me: Yeah but not much.

Therapist: Sorry to interrupt you two. The hour is on it's end. If you want to talk again you could change phone numbers.

Jack already wrote down his number and gave it to me. I just stared at it and sighed. I thanked him and stood up.

Me: I will go now.

I left the room and went straight home were Mint already waited for me. The rest of the day I read in my books and wrote some poems.
