sucks big time.

I do not know how we stayed there in our mini-group hug, but I can say that it was very helpful. I love them so much for this; maybe I will let them know someday. 

" Are you feeling better?" Hannah said in a voice you would use to soothe a child which made me smile.

" Yes, much better," I said forcing a small smile. I felt so drained and my only wish was to not talk about this issue anymore and yes, I let them know.

" I just do not want to talk about this anymore." I continued 

" Understood!" Dove said

" So what now? What is the plan? Are we still going to the party?" Hannah asked and I knew that they would stay behind if i said so but I did not want to ruin this for them after all, we were all super excited and our dresses are to die for.

" We are not changing, the plan is still on. Besides we have an important agenda to complete and so we can not afford to miss this opportunity." I said 

" Um, you are right. We have to find our little rumor culprit tonight." Dove said with a smirk and I gave her a smirk that looked as dangerous as the one she gave us.

" I swear, you too have weird personas, how can you smile over something like this?" Hannah facepalmed

" Don't spoil Dove's fun!" I said laughing 

" Hey!!! I am not the only one who finds it thrilling to be badass once in a while!" Dove said with a grin. 

" So it is settled, we are going out and we are going to party!!!" Hannah said as she screamed and her chants improved my mood ...just a bit. 

" Do not shout!" Dove reprimanded

" Fine, if only you promise to drink until we drop! And no, you guys are not getting out of this one, we are all going to drink!" Hannah said 

" Whatever," Dove replied 

" Great, call Mr Park and ask for one of his private jets back to the masquerade, let us enter the show in style," Hannah said with a smirk. 

" Alright, let me call him." With that Dove left the scene to talk to Mr Park.

" Uh...Guys, he said that we can catch a ride with umm..." Dove said as she looked in my direction.

"What?" I asked though I knew who she was talking about, it had been less than 2 hours since I left him at the cottage and now I am forced to be in the same flight as him.

" It is okay. We can stay behind, we do not have to go to the party if we can't get a flight back." Hannah said trying to reassure me. 

" No, can't he still arrange something for us?" I asked basically pleading.

" Well..." Dove started again but left her sentence mid way

" What? Talk to us D. We can not read minds!" Hannah said as she threw her hands in the air.

" Dan said...Dan said that Calix offered." 

" W-what?" I asked a bit flustered 

" Yeah... I was flustered too." Dove said

" Well, I hope you did not agree to that," Hannah said with a serious face showing that she had flipped the switch and her protective side was showing.

" Of course not. I said that I would need to discuss this with you guys first." Dove defended 

" Well good. Tell me we said no but thank you for the offer." Hannah said with a huff and a puff of her cheeks as she looked away. This made me laugh, she is just so cute.

" Yeah, if possible I would prefer it if I did not see him for a while," I said offering a smile

" Okay..." Dove said as she looked away and we could tell that she was not done talking but instead hesitated 

" Speak," I said simultaneously with Hannah 

" The thing is, Dan said that Calix is a very important business partner and so he asked me if I could, I mean we could do him this f-favor..." Dove said as she trailed off maybe because I could not hide the hurt in my eyes that she decided to stop.

" What?! Unacceptable, D! We can't do this to Alyssa." Hannah said firmly to Dove who ducked her head and looked at the floor. Seeing her duck her head like that made me feel bad, I remembered how she mentioned that She and Dan are not really the best couple there is and some things are complicated. On the other hand, Hannah was angry for me which was also sweet and all but they made me realize that we have been focusing on me and my problems a lot. I think it was time to change that. 

" Well, it would make things awkward but it is fine. If this is important to you and Dan then I suppose it can be done." I said to reassure Dove 

" Don't say that Alyssa. I actually agree with Hannah though Dan is my Fiance, he can not force me to do this." Dove said firmly but then sighed and added, " But if my parents find out..." 

" Then it is settled. We can do this and no, Hannah, I will be fine." I said to them and stopped Hannah from protesting because she was about to. 

I stood up to go to my room to rest a bit because everything was coming back, the lump in my throat and the unwanted emotions once more. " I will go rest a bit while we wait." 

(beep, beep,beep) Dove's phone sounded and her face changed color a bit

" What is it?" I asked 

" Uhmm....Dan just sent a text. He said that should we have any reservations, we must not worry because Calix won't be in the same jet as us, he will use a different one." Dove said softly

" There you have it. Our problem has resolved itself." I said softly faking a smile. 

" Aly...." Hannah said with a worried look on her face which made me fake a bigger smile to reassure her then said, " He even went out of his way to not share the same flight as me just so we could be comfortable." And with that, I turned and went to my room.

 I do not know much about love, romance, or relationships but I learned firsthand that unreciprocated love sucks big time.
