" Adieu ladies, do send me the pictures of your fun day okay? Oh and I hope things will workout for you Lady Alyssa." Madam L said as we exited her store.

" Things go well???" I asked 

" Yes darling, remember? the reason we chose dangerous red as your color?" She said with a wink 

" What? Oh..." I said 

" Look Alyssie is blushing. This day just keep getting better and better." Hannah said laughing

" Why are you keeping track of people who blush?" Dove said as she rolled her eyes 

" Leave me alone. I am having a field day out of this." Hannah said as she stuck her tongue out. She was honestly cute.

" Alright then let's go back home!" Hannah said as she bumped a fist in the air 

" Mhmm, we have to pack. We are behind schedule." Dove said as we went to the car we rented. We avoided using Mr Park's car in case he would want to track our movements.

" You guys go ahead, I have something to take care of." I said to them 

" What? What is so important to you that you would do it at this hour?" Dove asked because she knew that I do not like being out this late at night.

" Sigh, I want to fix some issues." I said with a grin that actually hid my true feelings. I was very nervous. 

" How will you get there?" Hannah asked 

"Ahem, I asked him to fetch me." I said as I ducked my head. 

" What? When was this?" Dove asked as she narrowed her eyes 

" When we were in the dressing room. I had this impulse and I followed it through and so I asked Calix to come fetch me if he is still in town." I said

" And has he responded?" Dove asked 

I shook my head and waited for my friends to flip out. 

" Alyssie!! We can not leave you here. It's almost 10pm." Dove said 

" yeah and 10pm is your bedtime." Hannah hilariously addedthat fact. 

" I know that." I said.

( exhaling sharply) " But I am going to take a leap of faith for this one. If he does not show up then I will stop pestering him and I will gladly move on." 

" We get you Aly, really we do but we can not have you being stranded here if he does not show up, it is not safe." Hannah said 

" I get that guys but I just - I just can not leave things as they are. Besides my pride is kinda wounded at the moment so take this into account before scolding me." I said as I puffed my cheeks. This was my secret weapon against them and I knew that they would give in.

" Oh no, do not dare to do that now Alyssie. Acting cute will not get you out of this." Dove said and I did not say anything and just kept looking at her with all the cuteness I could master. 

" Argh! I can not do this, Hannah talk some sense into her." Dove said to Hannah after I won the staring competition. Yay, one down and one more to go. 

" Hannie..." I said to her as I turned to face her and instead of cuteness this time, I used a sad face because she does not like it when people are sad. 

" Aly you...Sigh, what time will you get back?" She asked

" I will be back as soon as I am done saying my piece." 

" I don't know Alyssie, Dove is right you know it is not safe to be here all alone." Hannah said and as usual I did not use words to respond, I only looked at her with all the sadness I could show on my face

" Why don't you meet him tomorrow?" She asked again 

" I-I mean..." She started to say something but she stopped showing that she was wavering. She exhaled sharply and looked at me.

" Fine then! You win, now stop all that, it is not cute." Hannah said 

" You can go but you have to be on a call with us until he arrives, okay?" Hannah proposed

" Mhmm, thank you guys." I said as I threw myself at them for a group hug. I forced Dove to be a part of it because she was probably mad at me for taking such a reckless decision for a man.

" D, you are not mad are you?" I asked her as I gently touched her cheek with my nose. 

" No, How can I be mad at you? I am just worried that's all." Dove said 

" Sorry to disturb your moment ladies but may I ask which one of is Miss Alyssa?" A young man said

" Depends on who is asking." Hannah said 

" Oh where are my manners, I am sorry. Let me start over, My name is Rain and that jer- I mean Master Calix asked me to come fetch you." Rain said

" You wanted to say jerk, right? Did he do something to you?" I asked 

Rain laughed nervously and scratched his head then said, " Jerk? Did I say jerk? I am sorry, I was probably sleep talking." 

" If you are still sleepy, who will be driving the two of back? You?" Dove said with an intimidating pose.

" Did I say sleepy? No,no I did not mean it like that. I am fully awake and I am a night owl! You know how strong young men like me are these days!" Rain said as he started posing to showoff his muscles.

Hannah laughed and said, " I am sorry for laughing, You are just too cute. Are you his sibiling?" 

" No way I would want to be the sibiling of that devil." Rain mumbled a little too loud then laughed and said, " Oh how I wish, then it would mean I would be as handsome as he is." 

" alright then, you guys should not keep the driver waiting any longer. Go on, go home and I will meet you guys there in a few." I said as I ushered Hannah and Dove to the car.

" Remember to call us should anything happen. And I mean anything at all." Dove said 

" Yes, ma'am." I teased as I did a solider pose. 

" Bye bye." I said as I waved at them 

" Bye Alyssie." Hannah said while Dove just waved back. 

" Are you ready to go ma'am?" Rain asked 

" Why are you calling me like that? You can just call me by my name." I said to try and ease up the atmosphere because I could tell that he was not a guy who liked social rules and etiquette. 

" I thought you never ask! Thanks. Let me introduce myself again, I am Rain." Rain said while extending his hand 

" Alyssa." I said extending mine in return. We shook hands and then went to the car he brought. 

" Now that we can speak casually with each other, tell me, why did you call him a jerk and devil?" I asked 

" What? I said that I do not seem to remember" He said as he laughed and opened the backseat door for me.

" Should I refresh your memory?" I asked 

" No,no. It's just that I do not know if you will be my ally or enemy in the future so I can not trust you with such details." He said as he started driving. 

" I will be your ally." I said firmly 

" W-What?" He asked in shock 

" I will be your ally and I am one person who sticks to her word." I said 

He remained silent as though in thought then finally said, " Okay. Big bro is not someone you should mess with." 

" Okayyy... Is that a warning?" I asked surprised that he would say that

" No no at all. He is a nice guy and all but at the same time he is not. For example, he woke me up just so I could come and fetch you." He whined 

" I can imagine, I am sorry." I said in a sympathetic tone

" Right?! I was dreaming about my baby when he disturbed my dream." He said with a sigh 

" Oh sorry, you have a girlfriend?" I asked

" What? No, my baby is a SRKV234, the latest version of the PC system I currently use. It was released yesterday and I want to buy it." He said. His eyes shone brightly as he explained to me about the current version and the latest one but I could not shake off the odd feeling I got when he said those words. 

What did he mean when he said that, Calix is not someone to be messed with? What am I getting myself into? In any case, taking things one step at a time is the goal now.
