Your Time Has Come
As if she'd just received good news, Lisa turned her head quickly. She looked at Oscar with a heated face and blurred vision. She said well aware that Oscar loved her and wanted her for the rest of his life.
Just hearing those words leave Oscar's lips made Lisa's heart feel like it was being squeezed tightly, making it even more difficult for her to breathe. Her face was heating up, and she was sure her ears would be blowing smoke after this.
"Forever…" Lisa repeated in disbelief, "You want me forever?"
"I'm not ashamed to have a partner like you, Oscar, I also don't mean to hide you from the public because I'm afraid you will turn away from me. I just don't want people to talk about me behind my back. I don't want them to suddenly be nice to me just because they know I'm your girlfriend." Without realizing it, Lisa covered her lips with her palms, trying to hide her big smile, "I'll tell them when we're married, okay?"
