Letting the bird die on its own and choosing humanity over greed would be satisfying to my heart. Letting my my heart take a emotional decision rather than letting my brain decide for a more beneficial, logic induced thing would be a contempt to the laws of this world.

In this strong eat weak world, letting my emotions take over would not lead to a good outcome. Killing the bird beast was never a option for me. If the system had not shown the seeds of greed in my heart, I would have left the bird be and die on its own.

Looking at the vitality oozing out of the bird beast, anyone could have guessed that it was a pretty strong beast with a strong physique. Even though I was not able to see the level of this bird beast, I was damn sure that it was of very high level.

In all of this, what shocked me the most was the mechanical voice. I wanted to the level of the bird beast infront of me. I asked for information about the level of the bird beast with my dear mechanical voice but there was no response.

The monotonous mechanical voice that always satisfied my curiosity was now giving me a silent treatment. It didn't even mock me for being too low levelled this time. It was a unsual thing for me and as the mechanical voice didnt want to talk, I also didn't pry any further.

There were different matters at hand and waiting for the mechanical voice to give any information would yeild me no benefits. I looked at the bird beast knocking on the doors of death to take its life away with a seriousness on my eyes.

Today the death of this bird beast was bound to happen and a miracle would also not be able to heal it. It was still tweaking but the previous liveliness was not there. The weak tweaking could stop at any time. Whether I kill the bird beast or it would succumb to its injuries.

The death of this creature would not be a laughing matter. The dying body of this creature would surely attracted the attention of all the high levelled beasts that could sense its fading strength and vitality.

When the bird dies, all the beasts would come to this area like group of moths flying into the fire to gain the ownership of the body of the dead bird beast.

Even in my previous world, the downfall of one would mark the rise of other and the dead body of this bird beast would probably give other beasts a huge benefit.

Getting caught up between the fights of other beasts over the ownership of the dead bird beast would be devastating for me.

And like giving affirmation to my theories, loud thunderous roars could be heard from all over the places. I still have time to kill the bird beast before other beasts arrive as the roars were faint.

It will be too late to regret anything if I still pondered between the right thing to do and the best thing to do in this situation.
