Tree Growing Bones: Birth of a Necromancer

When young Auriel tragically meets his end, he awakens to a bizarre reality on the distant planet of Warkinels. Reincarnated as a necromancer tree, he finds himself immersed in a world governed by a real-life game system, where every creature is relentlessly striving to level up and gain strength. Unfazed by his peculiar transformation, Auriel embraces his new identity and sets out on a singular quest: to ascend the ranks and become the most powerful being in the Warkinels. With each encounter, he absorbs the life force of fallen creatures, enhancing his own abilities and expanding his necromantic influence. As Auriel delves deeper into the intricacies of Warkinel’s game system, he discovers hidden mechanics and exploits that allow him to accelerate his progression. Along the way, he forms alliances with fellow adventurers and clashes with rival factions, all vying for dominance in the ever-shifting landscape of Warkinels. Driven by an insatiable thirst for power, Auriel navigates treacherous dungeons, battles formidable foes, and unearths ancient artifacts that augment his necromantic prowess. But with each victory comes greater challenges, as rival players and malevolent forces seek to thwart his ascent. As Auriel rises through the ranks of Warkinel’s hierarchy, he becomes a force to be reckoned with, feared and respected by all who dare to oppose him. Yet, amidst his quest for supremacy, he must grapple with the moral implications of his actions and confront the darkness that lurks within his own heart. Arboreal Ascendance is a riveting tale of ambition, sacrifice, and the pursuit of power, as one boy's journey from death to rebirth leads him on an epic quest to conquer the game of life itself.

CALCULATING THE GAINS...

I closed and opened my eyes countless in hopes of some miracle. The miracle that I talk about here is change in that damn sentence. It had been sometime and I was just shown calculating the gains. It was infuriating.

It was like someone had given me a gift but the gift was wrapped in so many damn layers that excitment of getting a present converts into anger for the one that had given the present.

I was at the verge of loosing my patience and cussing out but then I heard the mechanical voice ring.

For the first time the mechanical voice felt like the coming of good omen.

LEVEL 7 (MORE)

I was already impatient to begin with and now the mechanical voice was testing the limit.

Without any other thought exictment of knowing how many levels I had gained got the best of me as I started thinking " How many levels have I gained ? Is there not a skip button for this damn thing?"

As if listening to my pleas and agreeing to it. The mechanical voice stopped for a while with beeping sound at certain interval and revealed my level.

DING....LEVEL UP....

LEVEL 15 ( MORE)

I was at the verge of level 3 but now I was directly at level 15. Even getting to level 3 would still take me some time. Increase in each level meant a significant change in strength. Level 15 also meant that now I had more ways of preserving my life.

I closed my eyes and prayed to whatever god Warkinels may have to give the bird beast a good afterlife.

SOUL OF THE BIRD BEAST IS WITH THE USER.....

BIRD BEAST UNABLE TO ADVANCE TO AFTERLIFE.....

Just as I was praying the mechanical voice sounded again. I was embaressed a little this time. I was praying for the bird beast's soul but its soul was still with me.

CONVERT THE SOUL INTO EXP POINTS...

Y / N

No no no, keep the soul, I hurridely stopped what the system was doing. I did not want the bird beast's soul to convert into exp points but I also did not have any use for its soul right now. Thus storing it was the only option I was left with.

" Can I store the bird beasts soul ? " I asked out hesitantly without any guarentee that I would get the answer that I wanted.

I really wanted to keep the bird beasts soul and did not know what would I do if I could not store it.

Before long the mechanical voice sounded again.

YES....

I hurridely asked the system to store the soul and not think anything funny pretaining the bird beast's soul.

SOUL STORING COMPLETED.....

After I made sure that the soul was stored I began looking at other things that I had noticed previously.
