Getting a better look at my status was what I wanted to do the most right now but roars that started with the fall of the bird beast had yet to die down completely.

The roars were that were getting louder and more frequent, now could be heard only from time to time.

Dissapearence of the bird beast probably dissuaded the advance of those beasts. Coming here now would only be a waste of time for those beasts and should go back from where they came was what I thought. The roars from beasts was a proof that the bird beast acted both as a attraction as well as deterence.

But the thought of a beast cannot be predicted at all. What would happen if some beast decided to check on this spot by sneaking in while I was busy and distracted looking at my status ? The situation would be dire. Staying lowkey for the time being would be for the best.

I closed my eyes and listened to my surrounding. I could now feel the things around me better even with my eyes closed. It must be related to my attributes getting strengthened through level ups. I was sure that nothing could sneak up on me now.

I wanted to focus on increasing my exp points while looking out but the excitement had still not died down. Without looking at my status, I probably can't focus on anything right now so I waited.

After a while no roars could be heard for a long time and after confirming that nothing was able to sneak up on me, I opened my eyes.

As soon as my eyes opened, I shouted status window as my excitment has now reached its limit and there was no any signs of imminent dangers.
