Chapter 52

Kenji opened his eyes slowly, letting his eyes adjust to the brightness in the room. He completely opened his eyes and found himself lying on a bed in a room.

He had some wires and he was in a blue patient's dress. He could easily deduce that he was in a hospital.

He tried getting up, but his body felt heavy. He lifted his head and looked around, intending to ask about his situation.

He found a woman with black wavy hair and a girl with pink wavy hair sitting on either side of his bed, resting their heads on the bed.

Kenji tried moving his hands, but he couldn't. He wondered "This is weird. I didn't feel this tired even after my body was reformed. Why is this happening now?"

He played back the whole test in his head and his questions only increased. Since he was in a pinch during the last five minutes, he didn't have time to think.

Now that he had all the time. he needed, more doubts started arising. "How did I get injured by the bullets? Why did I faint at the end? Why was my ice wall soo weak that it broke after they shot it with their guns?" he wondered.

His ice quirk had reached a level where it could block bullets of a pistol and a machine gun. Guns with larger power would be able to deal with his ice, but it would still take time.

Just when he was racking his brain, a window appeared before him, displaying a message which read

[It was due to your carelessness. Don't you remember that everytime you steal some ability, your body takes time to adjust to it. You had to wait, but you used those hypnotic eyes only after 5 minutes you stole them. As a result, you ended up pouring all your divine energy into the quirk. This quirk works differently. You need to stop the mind control or else, it will continue to use energy to keep them hypnotised.]

Kenji understood what had happened. "I forgot to that guard. As a result all my divine energy was sucked dry. Should have at least read the description of it before using." he mumbled.

He then said to the system in his head "You knew about this. Why didn't you unhypnotise him?"

Another message popped up saying

[I am just a system and I do what I am asked to do, if possible. I won't interfere in the lives of the user.]

"Didn't you say that you didn't have energy and couldn't talk. How are you able to talk now?" Kenji mumbled.

A message popped up reading

[I won't talk of you don't want me to]

"Is the system going thought puberty?" Kenji wondered. That's when he heard sounds near him.

He came out of his thoughts and looked at Sara beside him, who slightly lifted her heads and opened her eyes slightly to look at Kenji.

When she saw that he was awake, she opened her eyes fully and jumped at Kenji, hugging him.

Kenji was both confused and happy at the moment. Confused because he failed to remember what made Sara so emotional. He only saved her. Happy because he got to feel her two soft mountains on his chest.

Kenji knew that she misunderstood the situation and decided to clear it. Although tempting, he wasn't going to take advantage of a woman. That's below him. He still had his pride.

He moved Sara away from him and said "I think you misunderstood something. I fainted due to my carelessness. Don't know if I am just thinking too much. Just wanted to say it."

"I think I even for shot in the head. I don't even know what I am blabbering. Just forget what I just said." Kenji then said to her.

(Honestly, even I don't know what I am writing.)

Sara smiled and said "We can talk about it later. For now, I will go inform the doctor about this." and left the room.

Sakura had already woken up due to Kenji and Sara. She looked at Kenji and smiled. She said "Good that you woke up. You slept for two days straight."

"I think I was just too tired." Kenji said.

Then the door to the room opened suddenly and a woman with blonde hair burst into the room.

Kenji looked at her and said in his head "Argh.. I regret saving those kids now."

She came closer and punched him in his gut. Although it wasn't painful, he acted like it pains.

Emily said "Stop acting Kenji. The doctors said you were perfectly alright."

Then Emily went on scolding him, pulling his ear while Sakura ams Sara stood at a corner and chuckled seeing Kenji act like a normal kid.

Then the doctor entered the room and announced that he could leave the hospital the next day after some tests.

Kenji returned to the mansion and he was scolded by both Mia and Andrew.

After Andrew scolded Kenji he asked him, looking at the unfamiliar face behind him "Who is she?"

Kenji introduced the beautiful woman "She is Sara and she will be staying here for a while, till she finds a place to stay."

Andrew welcomed her and Sara was given a room close to Kenji. The reason she was in his house is because she asked Kenji to let her stay with him until she earns enough money and finds a place to stay.

At a base in Mexico, a man with black hair, wearing a brown suit was sitting on a chair before a table.

He had a cigar in his mouth. He took out the cigar with his right hand, while his left hand brushed his handlebar moustache.

He released a cloud of smoke and said to a shivering man before him "So, a bunch of kids broke into our base and stole our secrets and you let all of them go. Is that it?"

The man before him was sweating, as beads of sweat dropped to the floor. He added "And for some reason, Sir. Knight lost his quirk and a guard went insane, with a complete mental breakdown."

The man sitting before the table slammed his hand onto the table and shouted "Don't joke around. Figure out a way to correct it and move bases. I can't have more problems when we are facing the Jade dragon of China and the Maharaja of India."

The man ran out after he saw his boss angry. He knew that staying any longer would only result in his death.

The boss, brushed his moustache while saying "Ability to remove quirks. America hasn't been playing around. Gotta look out for them."

Note :- Sorry guys, I messed up by starting a new story without completing this. And I did it while I have exams. But it's only this month. I will be free for a while after that. So, just forgive me this month. I will still post, but only when I have time. Thank you
