Waking Up

Raheem woke up groggy, and his mind was confused. He was lying on a bed he knew didn't belong to him. A glass of water was on the side of the bed. He reached out for it and paused out of shock.

He found his once milky hand had turned into a darker shade. It wasn't completely dark, but it seemed not far from it either. He thought he was poisoned and tried to concentrate on his mind to feel his body.

*Ding* [Detecting host wanting to see stats?]

Raheem quickly jumped off the bed and spoke in his native language. "Who are you? Show yourself!" He stumbled and had to reach for the bed to steady himself.

[Detecing hosts confusion. Would the host like to begin the orientation?]

Raheem was about to respond when a man's voice came from the door. "Young Lord." Frank addressed him while taking a knee." By this time, Raheem's memories started to get unjumbled, and he remembered that this was his first training field.

Raheem drank the water from the side and slowly calmed himself down. Frank watched Raheem calm down and regain his composure. "Who are you, and why can you speak my language? I thought this world was different from my own."

"Young Lord is correct; this is a completely different universe. This planet gave birth to what we call a Jaded beast. Jaded beasts are beasts that have seen too much and go insane. In their desperate attempts to get rid of it, they try to get rid of whatever made them jaded." Frank paused to allow Raheem to compile his thoughts.

"Please continue, also please stand. I know you are someone far more powerful than I am." Frank continued to kneel. "Young Lord, I have been entrusted to guide you and be your advisor until you no longer need me by your side. One day, you will be an existence I can only look up to."

Raheem wanted to try to convince Frank to stand up, but a woman's voice shouted from downstairs. "Breakfast is ready! Come and get it; you can finish the talk at the table."

Frank stood up and walked out of the room. On his way out, he said. "Young Lord, please take your time. I will talk to that insufferable woman." Raheem sat there, listing things that needed to be done.

*Ding* [Host should be advised that the system cannot only give out tasks but also note down tasks the host deems important.]

Raheem didn't panic this time and asked. "System, may I please read the orientation now?" [Of course, host. Would you like it to be all at once or as needed?] "As needed, please."

*Ding* [Please select which orientation you want to read first.]

Raheem didn't think twice and chose the first option. The other two he can learn by himself.

*Ding* [ Host has chosen the option of the system's purpose and functions; the system will now explain it.]

[ I am the Beast system. My purpose is to guide the new All-Beast to maturity. My functions include An inventory of infinite space to store things (The host should note time is NOT stopped in the space) and access to a shop that holds bloodlines, weapons, cultivation techniques, missions, and tasks, for which the host will be graded upon completion, and project hosts stats or condition when asked.]

Raheem was blown away. He never heard of such a magical thing. "System, you are telling me that I can buy bloodlines of different beasts and merge with them?" [Host is correct, but host should be aware that host's first bloodline has already been integrated and must either master, level it up to maximum level, or buy a new one from the shop.]

"What bloodline? I'm human aren't I?" [When All-Father created host new body he gave you two bloodlines, would hosts like to see stats?] "Yes! Immediately."

*Ding* [Projecting hosts current stats]

Raheem looked at the screen and saw the bloodlines. "System, is it possible to get a more detailed look at the bloodlines?"[Of course, host. Here you go.]

Primordial Wolf

The very first Wolf in existence. Extremely agile and strong. Her name was Luna because of her silver fur.

True Human

The purest form a human can become. They went extinct some two billion years ago. Only the All's know why, and any information about them has been destroyed or forgotten.

Raheem closed the window and stood up for the first time. He was stable and firm. He walked to the mirror and got a good look at himself. Standing 6'5 feet tall, with a square jawline and black eyes that shined like obsidian. He no longer had his lions mane like hair, it was now short and jet black.

Raheem touched his head and sighed. "I have to start all over again." He picked himself up and went downstairs. "You lunatic! You will do no such thing! The young lord has just awakened, and you want to put him through a field exercise." Raheem heard Frank arguing and stopped to listen. A woman's voice replied dryly.

"This is why you are not needed here. The kid is meant to be the All-Beast. You know an existence who can blow us out of existence. If he can't handle it, he wouldn't have been chosen, so I don't see the problem." Raheem stepped out. "Frank, she's right. I'm not some child who needs his mother's milk."

The woman smiled. "Good morning, I am Tatiana from the underworld. I teach all forms of combat and war strategies." The woman bowed and stood back up.

"Nice to meet you, Tatiana. My name is Raheem Judas, son of Oscar Judas." Raheem then sat down at the table. Frank scowled at Tatiana as he sat down as well.

Once they were all seated and eating, Raheem looked towards Frank. "Can you finish telling me about the jaded beast from earlier?"

"Of course, Young Lord. As I said earlier jaded bea-." "Haha, young lord. I don't see any lord here." Tatiana laughed at Frank. Raheem wasn't upset either since he had never been called young lord in his past life.

Tatiana looked towards him and asked. "Do you want the long drawn-out version or the short and concise one?" "The short and concise one, please."

"Simply put, a jaded beast is a beast that has gone insane and wants to rid itself of everything. In this case, the jaded beast went insane due to humans, so it wanted to get rid of them, but no matter how much it hunted, they continued to grow and multiply. Eventually, it died and its flesh and bones were eaten by other animals, then of course humans hunted and ate said animals making them turn into them in return."

Raheem sat and thought about the changes the humans went through on a molecular level. He smiled and thought. 'So Darwin was right in the end, huh?'

"Tell me, did every human who partook in the flesh of the animals transformed?" Tatiana smiled. " I like you, kid; you ask important questions, but not every human transformed. Others died or gained powers."

Raheem was perplexed. "Explain to me when you say powers." Tatiana pulled a book from a kitchen drawer and dropped it on the table. "This is a humans spellbook I recovered, they call themselves druids and try to advise the humans who can transform to stay in the shadows. They also hide the truth from regular ones."

"I see." Raheem went silent again. Tatiana stood up and took the dishes into the kitchen sink. Frank looked worried. "Youg Lord-." "Please don't call me that, I'm not used to it just call me Raheem."

Frank cleared his throat. "As you wish Raheem." Tatiana came back and sat down. "I find it weird that there is a force to protect these transformed humans and not one to hunt them down."

Tatiana gave a big grin, while Frank sighed. "You are indeed correct! Raheem there families across the world who hunt these humans down." She brought out a global map and placed on the table. "The All-Father told us that you have a photogenic memory, so where do you wanna start first!"
