Chapter 1

Hey guys! I think this is very important so please read this below.

Y/N's appearance- I usually imagine Y/N having silver/white hair (mostly described as silver in this story) She also has "kaleidoscope" eyes, meaning they are multicolored and change colors constantly, like a kaleidoscope, hence the name. The rest can be your imagination.

This is very important to understand the descriptions of Y/N in the following chapters.

Also if any text is enclosed by these symbols,{ }, that sentence is supposed to be the character thinking.

Anyways thank you for reading and enjoy!

_____________

"Hey Y/N....Y/N...Y/N!" You sat straight up, your eyes fluttering open.

{I must have fallen asleep.}

You looked around to see globs of color everywhere around you. You blinked your eyes a couple of times, focusing on a stern teacher standing in front of you.

"Ah, sorry Sensei." You say, apologetically. Small snickers are heard throughout the silent classroom, but you ignored them, eyes fixed on the teacher. She held your gaze, her eyes glinted with anger that would easily terrify any other normal person. But honestly, you had seen worse. Your eyes showed no sign of fear. Instead they showed calculation.

You can tell the status of anyone at any time, by simply looking at their face and body posture. As a secret professional agent, you were indeed trained to do this as a child. But you also had a natural talent, and have been doing this before you were trained, which helps in many types of situations.

Without flickering once, you gathered all the information in your brain. You sort of imagined it like a video game. Little invisible boxes appeared pointing to small details and items, giving the information you needed.

Sensei's Status:

Obviously pretty. Wavy brown hair flowed down her shoulders, perfect body, perfect dress

Blue eyes - Always icy cold, glinted with vexation, as if she didn't want to be here

Married - A shiny platinum ring adorned her index finger with a polished diamond in the center.

Current Emotion - Angry....no furious....but not just at you....also at the students for laughing

Posture - Shoulders hunched and tense

The snickers and whispers faded out as the silence began to drag out, your eyes holding the intense gaze of the teacher. Some students shifted uncomfortably in their seats, as others watched both of you like watching an intense basketball game. You paid no mind to them, however, as the staring contest between you and the teacher sustained. You were going to win this contest.

Your teacher was astonished. No radiation of the slightest fear came from you. Normally, students would be trembling in their shoes, but you were confident, those piercing kaleidoscope eyes proving that. Your aura was that of a predator's as you kept your keen eyes fixed on your teacher, otherwise to you... your prey.

{This girl...she's not scary....no, she's deadly.}

Finally, your teacher averted her eyes, after sensing no radiation of fright, and sighed, walking back to her desk at the front of the room. The tension in the room immediately became relaxed, as if the students were holding their breaths. You glanced at them quickly, and visibly noticed them flinch from the intensity shining in your kaleidoscope eyes.

Before sitting down, at her desk, the teacher looked up and stared you straight in the eye.

Although you were taken aback, you didn't show it, as your eyes locked hers. Her face was still stoic, but her blue eyes held amusement...and satisfaction.

{Interesting....}

"Please meet me after class, Y/N." She said, softly. The students sat quietly, and for a minute, all that could be heard was pure silence. Not even a pin-drop was heard.

You gazed right back at her, stubbornly without breaking eye-contact.

"Ok."

______________

You shoved your textbooks into your black bag, and walked to the teacher's desk, reluctantly. When you got there, you placed your arms at your sides of your uniform and looked at your teacher, who was waiting for you patiently.

She noticed your aura changed a bit. It didn't radiate any fear still, and still asserted dominance but it wasn't deadly like a while ago. Your teacher was curious. Curious about who you truly are underneath that lonely, timid person.

"Sensei?" You asked, quietly.

"You know, Y/N, I never had a student who had the nerve to challenge me like that." She said, her face emotionless. Her eyes were blank, leaving no clue of her emotions. You gulped and clenched your fists as you felt a pit in your stomach. Getting in trouble wasn't usually something you enjoyed. You looked down at your black sneakers.

"Sorr-" Your apology was interrupted by the teacher.

"It's nice to have someone do that to me like that once in a while." Your head snapped up to face her, dumbstruck. The teacher's face broke out into a small grin as she looked at you. For the first time, her icy blue eyes softened.

"U-uh..." You blubbered. You were speechless. This was the last thing you were expecting to happen. You thought the least she would give you was a detention for the rest of the week. Or maybe a month-

"Y/N? Y/N!" You snapped back into reality. The teacher was staring at you expectantly. You shook your head out of your daze while mentally slapping your forehead.

"Sorry, Sensei."

"No need to always call me Sensei. Just call me Rose. Only when we are alone, though." She said, flashing her smile at you. Rose...that's a pretty name.

"Ok Sen- Rose." You corrected yourself, mentally noting to change that habit. For another couple seconds, there was an uncomfortable silence. You fumbled with the bottom of your black pleated skirt with your fingers.

"Y/N, is something bothering you? You have been less attentive in class." Rose started, slowly, "You can tell me, you know."

{Right, how the hell am I supposed to say that I'm an agent of a secret agency owned by the government? And that I was up last night killing a robber? And now there is another potential dangerous threat in the world? }

"Oh, I just haven't gotten much sleep lately." You lied, plastering a fake-smile on your face, to convince your teacher. She kept her eyes on you, skeptically. You hated that feeling, like someone was burning through all your barriers, staring straight into your broken soul. You felt your hands turn hot, as you held the smile. Then she sighed and softly smiled at you.

"Okay, just make sure to take care of yourself." she said, "You are a very smart student, you know?" Obviously, the curriculum is so easy. However, you were hung up over something else in her voice.

Her voice wasn't like other teachers--fake. Her voice held genuine care as her eyes showed concern. You were shocked. Despite that, you opened your mouth, unconsciously letting the words flow out of you.

"Ok, I will Rose."

When you left the classroom that day, only one thing repeated in your mind.

{There's something up with her.}

______________

You always had a quite monotonous schedule during the day. Wake up, go to school, come back, train, homework, dinner, sleep. Rinse and repeat. You sighed as you thought about it humming to the small tune playing in your earbuds. You slowly walked down the sidewalk, ignoring the passing people and cars. Your mind wandered to many different things.

{I wonder what Izu has planned for me in training today.}

You stared up at the setting sky, inhaling the fresh air. The sun burned a bright orange in the horizon. You observed that the trees were turning shades of yellows, oranges, and browns, evidence of autumn peeking right around the corner. A gentle breeze softly ruffled your silver hair as you continued walking, listening to the soft song playing in the background, and enjoying the silent peace while it lasted.

{If only is was like this all the time.}
