Chapter twenty: Mom I'm home

After the confession, Blake didn't went back on his word concerning the pursuing part, he get to do what he did best and won over Mrs Anderson who became fond of him and mostly invited him to dinner and whatnot.

He even had Mrs Anderson agreed to him giving Jennie a ride during school closings hours.

He came to the Anderson's house at will, soon their relationship started smooth sailing.

Jennie who later realized what she.was always curious and confused about, she realized the fact that she was long in love with Blake. She was certain the latter was fond of her and liked her as well she finally gave in and agreed to go out with him.

Jennie and Evie were waiting with bowls of ice cream, Jennie licked hungrily while Evie stood stealing a glance at the hungry little lamb wolfing down an ice cream.

Hers had almost melted because she wasn't paying attention to hers.

Evie grumpily look at Jennie and said complacently " look your man is here" Jennie couldn't help glancing back.

It was Blake, nothing could compare this coldness and beauty. Isn't God being biased. How could he be so perfect.

She waved goodbye to Evie and walked few meters towards where he parked his motorbike. "You're here? I was waiting for mom moreover didn't you told me you'll be visiting your mom after school??" Jennie asked looking confused.

During his visit last night for his daily routine, after dinner he told her he'll be visiting his mother the next day but why is he here? She had thought he would have left.

Blake frowned and said "Ain't you delighted seeing me? Also Concerning visiting mom, yes I'll be visiting her"

Jennie looked more confused "Why aren't you going then?"

Blake chuckled and said "I told you I will be visiting her but do I said alone? So I'm not going without you baby"

Jennie blushed and looked sideway, this guy is truly shameless. "W...What?" She stuttered.

Blake ignited the bike and said to the bewildered Jennie "Hop on and hold onto me"

"B..but"

"No buts, we're officially dating aren't we?"

Blake faked a cough and covered his chest. "Baby you won't kiss me? keeping acting this cute make want to eat you and gobble you up"

Jennie was stunned and her eyes widen "This..."

"Honestly baby, this are very good for your body, you have to kiss more often alright?" He said seriously.

Jennie rolled her eyes and said "Hey, are you no longer concerned about visiting anymore"

He was obstinate that he laughed out loud "I won't unless you kiss me"

Jennie lips trembled hearing what he said, her eyes darted around before uttering "But it's crowdy, there are alot of people"

"And?" Blake raised his brows questionly.

"They are watching!"

"And?"

However Jennie stubbornly refused to make a sound and carefully step back one step before another.

"I'm deeply hurt right now, baby refused to give me a kiss as a compensation, I'm hurt that it bleeds" Blake said hurtfully grabbing his chest, but just that he didn't obtain the sympathy he wanted.

"Hurt? Where" Jennie said playing along, two can play the game!

He blinked and pointed to his heart "Right here"

Jennie wanted to laugh but she pressed it back, she knew they could do this all day if she refused to put an end to it, thus she gritted her teeth and leisurely looked look around. "Come closer"

She leaned and kissed his cheeks, he looked just warm at that instance.

The pair of soft lips kissing him is the most valuable gift in the world even if it was only on the cheeks, he never wanted the moment to end, the feeling was so great, so great that he wanted to keep it and not let it go.

In this world, how could someone be so innocent and kind, although both in terms of description were opposites of each other, however he wanted this brightened sun for himself, he wants it to accompany him all his life to shone brightly encouraging him in those ranging darkness. "Baby hop on"

She was accustomed with him calling her baby, she actually thought it doesn't sound bad, maybe she even like it.

Jennie couldn't object so she could only mount the bike and wrapped her hands around Blake who hummed in satisfaction.

The ride wasn't bumpy it was all smooth, but why are they driving more far away from the city? Although she knew his family was a prestigious one but what with him driving beyond.

After more than an hour and thirty minutes, all Jennie could see were dense tall trees with lush green leaves, the smell of nature is refreshing, being spring was vivid, most leaves were dark green.

The environment was full with tranquility and the breeze was soothing, Jennie eyes were glittering, the scene was attractive, Jennie couldn't hide her excitement as her eyes were beaming.

Being spring embellished the flourished trees that shielded the road casting shadows which make the ride especially cooler.

After few minutes Jennie couldn't help being in awe at the sight that welcomed her, the bungalow was ornamented, it was built with planks and beautiful flowers were grown surrounding, the bungalow looked nothing apart from a normal houses but the decorations and flowers added extra beauty and uniqueness making people couldn't help but take more glances.

Jennie dismounted followed by Blake who took off his helmet and placed it on the bike before leading Jennie towards the house before them.

The wooden door was pushed opened and entered inside the duo.

Blake called out after sitting Jennie down on one of the sofas "Mom, I'm home"
