Chapter twelve: Own way without being dictated

Inside a not to capacious bedroom, the quilt that looked comfortable covered the neat smooth laid bed Wrapping around the good looking teenager, her soft black hair scattered over the pillow and her eyes lids moved slightly, opening to show a pair of beauteous eyes.

Jennie rubbed her eyes and leaned over to grab the mobile phone next to her.

Jennie sat up on the bed and accept the call.

Evie [Jennie, it's almost time what you doing, come-on get your ass over here] a ranging voice blare from the other side startling Jennie that she almost threw the phone away, It felt as though something missing was flashing to her as she glanced at the messy room. To say she fell asleep due to exhaustion after she couldn't come up with a dress was very true

Jennie yawned covering her mouth and said "Aw! I'm Kind of exhausted "

She said switching to back camera showing Evie her messy room, several clothes dispersed around the room..

But Evie who prepared for the worst already imagined this scenario.

Evie [The red dress beside the nightwear, wear it]

Jennie rolled her eyes and said "Too revealing, ain't wearing that!"

Evie squeezed out [The white dress is pretty as well]

Jennie squeezed her face and said" ugh Abit cramp"

Evie [The pink skirt isn't bad]

Jennie "I'm not wearing that, pink is not my color"

Evie pouted [ The Black body hug might do ]

Jennie "Tell you, it stops right under my butt, it's just too uncomfortable"

Evie finally had enough, the bit endurance she has left had run out, thus she said [put off this facade ain't gonna work, If you doesn't intended to attend just let me know, didn't you thought of this when you bought them in the first place!?]

Jennie sighed but because it was switched to back camera, Evie couldn't see her tiredness "That's the problem, I didn't buy any of it "

Evie was quite surprised so she asked [Who does then??]

Jennie sighed yet again switching back to front camera and said Abit lower "mom"

Evie suddenly glanced at the door and quickly said [Make do with something pretty, bye love you and make sure you attend my party.]

Jennie : "....wait"

Evie already hung up.

She entered into the bathroom and stripped, she entered into the tub after throwing her skirt and sleeves in the washer.

She came out dilated after what felt like longest minutes,

She dry herself before squeezing her body into the tight fitted gown, besides from being tense she couldn't breathe properly,

Never is Mrs Anderson doing shopping for her.

Yeah right!, She will be doing the shoppings next as if she have it easy around alot of people.

This won't do, unless she has a death wish, after a brief glance around she saw a baggy sweater and black pants. Wouldn't she look like weirdo if she attend a party like this.

She hasn't saw it before, but since it was found In her room, it might probably be hers. She doesn't have a mind like a sieve, infact her recollection of things is just too good for this world.

She checked her look in the mirror, the white crop top and the Jean trouser looked gorgeous on her, She hummed, quite satisfied.

Although she tried the baggy sweater but she was literally swimming in them, she could only sighed ineffectually but as goodness have it in for she saw this, she grabbed off the opportunity and got herself into it.

She took a taxi but not without informing her mom she will be attending a party,

The taxi drove off after receiving the payment for his services.

Evie who came to welcome Jennie before inviting her in, the house was unusually quiet for a party so Jennie couldn't help asking "Where is everyone else? Where is the party!"

Evie stopped on her tracks, turn back and gazed intensely at Jennie before saying sincerely " Evelyn has the friends. I don't, she has been having it bad since the last incident," she squeezed her face before murmuring "she won't even open the door for me"

Jennie only uttered an "Oh!"

Evie rushed to her room and came back some minutes later with her makeup done and fully dressed Jennie couldn't help asking "So what's the plan?"

Evie only stuffed the mirror and lip gloss into the pouch before dragging Jennie "Didn't I said I wished to go sing at KTV on my birthday as goodness have it Evelyn refused to participate, couldn't deny being overjoyed at least for once I'll do things my own way without being dictated"

"Eww," Jennie grimaced playful and said " why do I feel like someone is happy after having someone else get rid of her bitchy sister"

"Ain't responsible for her current predicament, she deserves it anyway, You see back then at elementary she once shoved a kid into the garbage, to make it worse, once there was this kid who got the last red candy at the store and you know what? She was very annoyed that the kid was almost run over by a car after being thrutch before the speedy car by Evelyn, she...."

She was cut off by Jennie who couldn't hear anymore of it "Enough! Don't wanna hear anymore of it ugh! So cruel and inhuman"

Evie felt saddened, she really wanted Evelyn to mend her ways but she just wouldn't listen.

Jennie who shut the door after they both came out of the front door said after noticing the thick atmosphere "We go to KTV, sing, grab a drink, maybe some liquor might do"

"Why liquor?"

Jennie inhaled dreamingly and said "I wanted to try that thing but just couldn't bring myself to, since this night is about you I might as well have my first alcohol with you, I've wondered what that hyped thing will taste like. Wanna take my chances, lace the shoe up and give it a try"

Evie brighten up immediately and gaze at Jennie delightfully and said with brightened eyes "That's more like it"
