Ekko thought remembering how cool the move looked in the cinema.

As Ekko was daydreaming Baiken who had finished looking around the room approached Ekko and suddenly grabbed his hand.

Confused Ekko looked at Baiken, but she only stared at his hand while caressing the callouses on his palms and fingers.

She then suddenly grinned as she let go of his hand and lifted him over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

Ekko blinked owlishly as he still had no idea what was happening." You're a swordsman aren't ya? I've not had a good spar in ages so you're gonna fight me." She said in a no-nonsense kind of tone.

By the time Ekko got his bearings together he and Baiken were already in the backyard of the Inn facing each other with a katana strapped to our hips.

Well his was, hers was in her mouth so she could unsheathe it with her left arm. Again Ekko had no idea why he was even agreeing to spar with her, but he did have a slight curiosity about how good she was with the blade.

" Fighters ready..." Eris who had been casually walking by found out what was happening and wanted to join in any way she could, so she became the official judge. Cana, Rangiku, and Akali were also suspecting the fight.

" You can do it Ekko." Rangiku yelled supporting her boyfriend.

" Beat his Ass Baiken." While on the other hand, Cana was supporting Baiken, she wanted her to take revenge for the punishment Ekko dished out to her not too long ago.

" And..BEGIN!!" Eris said excitedly as she brought her arm down to signal both fighters to start.

Ekko Unseathed his Katana and held a firm and tight grip on the tsuka(Handle) meanwhile Baiken held the sheath of her sword in her mouth while slowly drawing out her own blade.

The two stared into each other before Ekko was the one to make the first move, he took a few quick steps forward to get into baiken's space.

Though what surprised Ekko was that when he did get into her range, the next moment her sword stance completely changed and she lifted her hidden amputated arm.

Akali who noticed the change immediately noticed something she was familiar with as she herself was trained in the art of it.

A spear Elongated from her right side heading straight for Ekkos shoulder, but quick to react he dodged underneath the spear and performed on swift upwards slash.

Baiken smirked, happy that her opponent wasn't weak at least. She quickly jumped backward dodging Ekko's sword swing.

Ekko gave a similar smile right back at her before chasing her down with his sword.

" Wow! wow! What was that, a spear just suddenly appeared from Baiken-sans arm and then disappeared." Eris exclaimed.

Akali thought with interest as she watched the fight continue to play out.

Baiken raised her sword high to quickly block Ekko's downward strick, once the two weapons briefly clashed Ekko quickly changed the blade's trajectory and cut baikens arm.

It was a tiny scratch but still a wound. The more they fought the more excited Baiken got and the more fierce her sword technique became.

Ekko quickly parried, reflexively. Baiken saw an opportunity and a second hidden weapon was sent out, this time it being a second katana, Ekko stepped back avoiding the blade while Baiken smirked and then threw her blade into the air.

'Huh, what is she...' His skepticism was answered by a fast kick to his chest, Ekko caught Baiken's ankle but she quickly used her falling blade to separate.

Ekko let go of her ankle before he got his hand chopped off and Baiken quickly gained her balance while picking her sword back up.

Though before she could get one up on Ekko, she felt the tip of a blade graze her skin from behind. ' What when did he...Dammit, I was so concentrated on his sword that I thought he would have been attached to it, but he used me being distracted to get behind me.

Ekko who was standing behind Baiken smirked while holding a butter knife he bought from the system.

Baiken sighed before smiling in defeat." I Yield." She said with a bit of reluctance though it wasn't like this was a battle to the death so she wasn't that annoyed, plus she hadn't been going all out but, neither was Ekko.

" AND OUR WINNER IS EKKO!!!" Eris said announcing the winner.

"Booo!!" Everyone cheered Ekko except for Cana who booed.

" Nice spar Baiken-san, you are amazing with the sword, and those hidden weapons were really a surprise. You completely cough me off guard." Ekko complimented while shaking baikens good hand.

" Ye, but it looks like I got a long way to go. Thanks for the spar, I really needed that." Baiken said while stretching her back and right shoulder.

" By the way...um sorry for this morning I wasn't fully awake and I didn't know it was you."

" Huh, oh that don't sweat it, we did much more than that last night anyway." Baiken casually commented as she sheathed her Katana, meanwhile, Ekko was dismayed by the implications of those words.

" Um by, stuff you don't mean like..."

" Huh? If you're talking about sex then no, we didn't do it, I offered but you refused. We did play some truth or dares though, that got quite Erotic real fast...It was Cana's idea by the way."

" I see.." Ekko lamented, he wasn't angry or anything just sad he couldn't remember anything that happened yesterday.

"But could I ask why were you in my room, if I agreed to let you stay, why dident you stay in one of the other rooms"

" Again Cana insisted, she said that none of the other rooms were available...anyway, I'm gonna head over to try out the hotsprings."

" Enjoy your bath." Ekko said before glaring tight at Cana who flinched when she saw Ekko looking in her direction.

" Umm ur~! Huh, what was that? I think I hear Cerbie calling, I better go see what's up."

Cana then immediately ran away while Ekko sprinted after her to give her another bald spot-inducing Noggie. The girls seeing this laughed as they recorded Ekko chasing Cana around the house.

Though the sudden sound of a cat made Ekko pause as he looked at the black-haired golden-eyed cat that Eris was playing with.

' Huh, isent that...'

" Oh, I knew there was something I forgot to tell you this morning, yesterday you also adopted a cat that appeared outside the inn." Rangiku said while giving Ekko a wink though she hid it from Yoruichi.

" Is that so?" What else did he do while he was drunk yesterday?

And just like that, another eventful day in Yakushi Inn passed, with not one but two new members joining the fray.
