Chapter 98

"They're wrong Eris, they are just fiction okay." Ekko reassured and for some reason, Ekko thought for just a second he saw disappointment on her face.

" I-is that right...well that's great to hear. Erm, Truth be told Ekko-San could be the right one for me but...I'm still 16 years old...so I haven't experienced such actions with the opposite sex, so I was wondering what I would do.."

" Then that must be great to hear..."

" Y-yes." The two of them then chuckled while trying to get rid of the previous awkwardness.

Meanwhile, Rangiku who had already returned home and had been secretly spying on the two smiled before walking away.

The atmosphere in Yakushi right now could only be described in a few words...grand, festive, loud, and Joyous.

Fireworks exploded in the background of the dark night sky while the residents and other locals who have come from far celebrate the twin goddesses festival together.

Children laughed while winning prizes from booths while adults laughed while catching up with deer old friends.

The streets were riddled with statues and decorations of the twin goddesses and people walked to and from the shrine giving a simple prayer before leaving to enjoy the festive.

" Does it really take this long to put on a yukata, wait that was a stupid question, didn't Sasha say it took like between two hours?" Ekko sighed as Cerbie copied his dad's movements and also sighed.

Yesterday Ekko had brought up the idea to go to the festival and all the girls at the inn were excited and agreed to go.

He had even invited Ruben and Sasha if they wanted to go but it seemed they were busy.

But Ruben was kind enough to provide the girls with custom yukata's from his new fashion line so luckily for him he saved a few Item points though it wouldn't have cost much even if he did buy them.

Ekko himself was wearing a kimono that Ruben had designed though it was less of a kimono and more of a hybrid between a normal Japanese kimono and a Chinese Kimono.

"Fufu, you must have patience Ekko, I bet when those girls walk out they will steal your breath away." Granny Chio chimed in from a rocking chair in the corner.

Ekko had called her yesterday asking if she could help the girls with putting on the yukatas, so here she was.

Granny Chio was actually one of the lead organizers of the festival so she needed to leave soon herself.

" Your right Granny, haha-ha." Ekko chuckled awkwardly while he continued to wait for the girls.

But finally, after all that waiting he finally heard multiple sets of footsteps coming in his direction.

" You guys are finally done, we should get going to the shrine before heading to the festival-..." Ekko stopped mid-sentence as he stood there frozen at the sight in front of him.

Even the sound of Granny Chio taking a photo of Ekko's dazed face dident wake him up from his stupor.

" Ahahaha yes, I win, I told you he would freeze the moment he saw us, pay up ladies " Cana laughed as the girls unwillingly gave her a few thousand yen each.

" Ekko what do you think, do these dresses look nice on us-nya!" Eris asked in an excited tone as all the girl's subconscious looked forward to Ekkos thoughts.

" Y-you girls look absolutely gorgeous. You all look like you just came out of a painting." Ekko responded finally gaining some semblance of himself.

I mean no one would really blame him, he wasn't joking when he said those words, in the past he might have thought a certain Chinese saying was cringe but maybe they had some truth to them.

All the girls beamed when they heard Ekko's words while Granny Chio just stood by Ekko's side with a warm smile.

Ekko first laid his eyes on his bewitching girlfriend Rangiku, her normally free-flowing hair was now tied up in a beautifully decorated Bun.

While the Yakata that she wore had a mainly black color scheme with beautifully embroidered patterns all around.

Then he looked at Masane, her yakata was much simpler but still beautiful, especially the way it conformed around her amazingly curvaceous body.

Then there was Evelyn, the most seductive of all the girls, what she was wearing wasn't your regular Yukata, instead, the hem of her dress went above her knees while the other girl's Yukata's covered their legs.

The colors of her yukata were also very eye-catching and pretty with blues, pinks whites purples dotted all around. Her hair was let down and looked a bit damp like she had just stepped out of the shower.

Ekko then Laid his eyes on Ahri, similar to Evelyn her Yukata just covered her thighs and was adorned with beautiful embroidery. The main colors that were on her dress were Pink, white, and Blue.

She also dyed her previous blond hair to a shiny silver with blue highlights at the end.

Kai'sa was given the Cherry blossom Yukata, there were no other colors on her dress besides pink.

Kai'sa also decided to let down her hair as her vibrant Purple eyes similar to his own really popped with the Yukata she was wearing.

Akali was one of the girls that decided not to wear a Yakata but instead a full-body dress that exposed the sides of her white creamy thighs.

She also wore a white sash tightly around her waist showing off her fit curves and her hair was tied up as she usually kept it. As a matter of fact, she looked more like a Ninja than a girl going to a festival.

Then there was Cana, Ekko was surprised any of the girls actually managed to convince that girl to wear a Yukata but he was glad they did because she looked absolutely drop-dead gorgeous in it.

She wore a pitch-black Yakata with beautiful vibrant flowers all over. Her hair was tied in a loosely frizzled bun but that didn't take away from how good she looked.

Though he knew that by the end of today, he would probably be dragging her back home, as today Cana was allowed to drink as much as she wanted.

And Ekko knew exactly where she was going after the shrine visit...Yakushi's Anual Drinking competition.

Finally, he set his eyes on the final girl, Eris. Unlike the other girls besides Akali Eris decided to actually wear a Chinese Quipou instead of a yukata.

Though Ekko wasn't complaining as she was a sight to behold.

Eris was wearing a very provocative and very sexy pinkish-red Quipou that exposed her seductively thighs.

And as Chinese Quipou's were usually made of thin material the dress fit her form perfectly and left nothing to the imagination.

The Quipu looked especially sexy with those black stockings she decided to put on.

And when all the girls felt Ekko staring at them with eyes of admiration and even a hint of lust they couldn't help but smile gleefully on the inside.

Overall every single girl in this room was a 90-pointer and above. This also meant that when they separated, that other guys could... no would start bothering them when they separated to do their own thing.

Though Ekko dident have to worry too much as yesterday he had tasked his men to keep watch of the festival and act as security.

Not just for the girls but also to stop any drunken idiot from harming anyone of the normal civilians.

" You girls look so pretty, I wonder who the lucky young man that will swift you off your feet and makes you his wife." Granny Chio said before remembering something and walking back to her bag to retrieve a box.

Granny Chio opened the box and revealed Eight stunning hairpins. Some were shaped like beautiful flowers while some had an animal-like designs.

" This is for all of you, I hope you can accept it."

The girls thanked Granny Chio for the wonderful gift and each girl chose a hairpin they liked the most.

Rangiku who had chosen the pin with the crescent moon walked up to Ekko and smiled." Would you mind putting it in my hair Ekko?" Rangiku asked while turning her back to her boyfriend and exposing her nape.

" It would be my pleasure." Ekko responded before carefully placing the pin in a nice spot.

Suddenly an excited Eris appeared right beside him and asked.

" Nyaaaa!! I want Ekko to also put mine on for me." Ekko dident mind and also put Eris's on for her.

Suddenly Ekko felt a tap on his shoulder and when he turned around he found all the girls staring at him, with expecting gazes.

Rangiku chuckled seeing how popular Ekko was.

In the end, Ekko ended up putting all the pins on the girls.

Granny Chio who saw the interaction couldn't help but smile while thinking that Ekko was such a playboy.

"Ah! before you all go and have your fun, let me take a picture of all of you together, come, come..all of you." Granny Chio said.

All the girls got together on the sofa while Ekko was forced to sit in the middle of all of them. Eris ended up sitting on his lap, while Rangiku and Evelyn sat on his left and right side.

Cana decided to rest her arms on his shoulders from behind the sofa and the rest of the girls were all sitting down on the floor.

Taking out an old Polaroid camera, Granny Chio made sure everything was working before taking a few photos of the group in different positions.

She first did a group photo before doing single s' and then couples. Ekko ended up taking a photo with each girl individually.

After all the pictures were taken and the girls were ready, they all headed out to enjoy the Twin goddesses festival, but their first stop was the shrine.
