Chapter 76

" Well, today must be your lucky day then..." Ekko said taking out his car keys and tossing them at her.

Surprised Evelynn instinctively caught them and looked at Ekko.

" What? Do you want to drive or not." Ekko asked giving her a playful smirk.

Evelynn smiled while pressing the keys to the car.' Mh! Just for this, I'll only suck out one day's worth of life force out of you.'

If Ekko had read her mind he probably would have been rendered speechless.' Should I be thanking you for shortening my life?'

Ekko thought that the car ride back to Yakushi would be a calm and tranquil one. He was surely mistaken, Ekko's arms were shaking as he grabbed onto the car's door handle for support.

He never got seasick or carsick but he might very well be in the next few seconds, thankfully Evelynn calmed down after getting closer to the town.

Seeing Ekko so afraid of just a little joy ride Evelynn couldn't help but find it a little cute and amusing.

She laughed seductively and for the rest of the journey she drove like a normal person would.

After coming back from that near-death experience Ekko finally turned to Evelynn and asked." S-so where exactly do you live now."

Evelynn glanced at Ekko a smirked before pointing outside the window." See that five-story japanese mansion up on the hill over there, that's where I'm staying."

Ekko looked to where she was pointing at but froze as he rubbed his eyes and looked again." Isen't that my...so you are." Ekko looked back at Evelynn who now had a frisky smile on her face.

"*Giggle*, please do take care of us from now on Mr. Landlord~ Or do you prefer me to call you Ekko." Evelynn asked with a smirk.

With that statement alone Ekko confirmed that Evelynn was one of those new tenants the system had found for him.

" You knew who I was this whole time and you dident say anything."

" And what would be the fun in that, but I have to say seeing your reaction, it was worth it, Cutie~" Evelynn replied while bopping his nose with her sharp nail.

In less than five minutes Ekko and Evelynn had made it to Yakushi. Ekko was about to get out of the car but Evelynn's hand stopped him from doing so.

He looked back in confusion and Evelynn smiled in anticipation." Did you forget, you said that for a ride I would need to pay a price, did you not mean what you said, or were you only trying to tease me cutie~." Evelynn asked as she leaned in closer to Ekko.

Ekko Completely forgot about the system task and knew he had to complete it, so Ekko smiled and replied" It almost slipped my mind, thank you for reminding me."

Ekko leaned in closer as well and Evelynn puckered her lips while closing her eyes, ready to feel his strong life force spread around her body.

Finally, her soft lips made contact and she waited for his life force to be absorbed, but oddly enough she didn't feel anything like that.

Opening her eyes Evelynn finally saw what she was actually kissing, it wasn't Ekko's lips but his cheek instead.

Evelynn separated her lips from his cheek and asked"...You? didn't you say the price was a kiss, so why..."

Ekko smiled playfully and asked." Huh, I said a kiss but who said it was going to be a kiss on the lips, I have an amazing girlfriend for that." Ekko said before quickly getting out of the car and escaping.

Evelynn just sat there stunned. She hadn't noticed right then but she felt something in her stomach stir, a feeling she had never felt or tasted before.

" Did I just get...teased? Me, out of all people...Pfft, Hahahahaha this is truly a first for me.

Ekko huh!! since you took my first time ill have you take responsibility Cutie...I'll get that kiss."

Evelynn promised herself right there and then.

The moment Ekko had walked through the door he was immediately attacked by a fast agile figure who clung to him and hugged him.

" Ekkoooooooo-Nyaa~~ Your back." Eris screamed while giving him a big hug. Ekko laughed and patted Eris's back, after letting her down he gave her ears a good fluff rub before entering the house.

Evelynn walked through the gates right after and that's where she was greeted by Eris. She was surprised because she had already met Eris before.

"Big sis Eve-Nya~~~" Eris exclaimed while also hugging her.

" Huh Eris what are you doing here...don't tell me you live here too." Evelynn asked in curiosity.

" Yep, Ahri and Kai'sa are already here and made themselves at home, oh and everyone else lives here too."

" I see, so the only ones living here are girls, and the only man here is Ekko."

"Yep~"

' *Chuckles* Things just got even more interesting.' Evelynn thought as she licked her lips seductively but Eris just looked at her in confusion.

Meanwhile, Ekko who had just entered the house still didn't know that all the girls living here were all acquainted with one another.

Ekko saw Cana laying down on the couch and noticed immediately that her hair was still a mess.

Hearing footsteps from behind Cana already knew that Ekko had come back so she waved her arm lazily," Yo kid, the new tenants are here I've already shown them around and where their rooms are, you should greet them as well, they should still be unpacking."

" Thanks, Cana...oh, and later let me fix your hair, it's a mess." She just hummed in acceptance and continued to watch TV.

Ekko shook his head and walked upstairs where he could hear the voices of two familiar yet unfamiliar females.

Ekko walked around the corner and immediately saw the two new tenants that would be staying there from now on.

But when he saw the pair, he was surprised to see that he knew the two.' Isent that Poki and the Korean girl I met in the park, what a coincidence.

" I can't seem to find it Ahri, I think it must still be in one of the boxes in the moving truck." Kai'sa said as she couldn't find an item she and Ahri were looking for.

" But the moving truck won't be here for another two hours, I guess we'll just have to wait until it arrives." Ahri replied as she took things out of her pink and blue duffel bag.

{Kock knock, knock}

" Yo, I hope I'm not interrupting anything, I just wanted to say hello as your new landlord." Ekko said as he casually leaned against the door.

Both girls hearing a sudden male voice behind were startled but then their eyes widened, Ahri's eyes were filled with excitement while kai'sa's was filled with recognition.

They both turned around and immediately spotted Ekko who was smiling in their direction.

" EKKO~!!" The two shouted simultaneously.

Ekko was taken aback by the shout but greeted it with a smile nevertheless." Yo, it's been a while Poki looks like you're doing well...and you...who are you again."

" Ghfdf !!!" Ahri almost slipped in place, was she really that forgettable to him, she wasn't one to gloat or show off her beauty but people normally don't just forget a face like hers.

" Hahaha, I'm just kidding your that guitar chick right, the one I met at the park not too long ago, so your also one of my new tenants...wait is this one of the bandmates you were talking about before Poki."

" Yep, there are two more but..."

" I think there's only one now, I'm just taking a guess here but is Evelynn also a part of your band." Ekko asked knowing he was probably 99 percent right.

" Huh! You've met Evelynn as well, when." Ahri asked.

" Yep, I just met her on my way home, her car had a flat so I gave her a ride here, she's... she's quite the character." Ekko said.

" Haha!! Ye, I'm sorry if she's been too, flirty with you that's just how she is." Ahri laghed in an embarrassed manner while apologizing for her friend's antics.

" Yep, I've already picked up on that, so do you girls need any help with anything, or are you okay with unpacking on your own."

"We're okay for now but we could use your help when the moving truck comes, oh and there's still one more of us coming but she's at an event, so she will only come later."

"That's fine, I'll get out of your hair then, if you need anything ill be just downstairs in the living room."

" Thank you Ekko we'll make sure to call you if there's anything." Kai'sa said and Ekko nodded before waving the two girls goodbye.

Once he was gone Ahri couldn't help but plop herself on the soft bed in the corner." Hey, poki when should I ask Ekko about our proposal, should I have asked him then or maybe tonight."

Kai'sa put on a thoughtful look before replying.

" Maybe we should give it a few days, let's get to know him more, and in turn, he'll get to know us more, if we just spring it on him now his answer will probably be no."

" Your right, I'm just being too anxious, ill ask him in a few days from now, thanks poki." Ahri smiled brightly before helping her friend unpack.

" Wait...he called you Poki, you two have already met." Kai'sa just rolled her eyes at that, now you noticed.
