A few moments later, Maxmillan and Lenna arrived before the large wooden gate to their private residence.

"Finally, we are home." Maxmillan said and heaved a sigh.

He then returned the Ultra-High Velocity Traversal Speed Boots to the inventory and excitedly urged his mom to go in with him.

As soon as they opened the gate and headed for the building that was their home in the distance, Lenna called out with a beautiful radiant smile in her face.

"Lylla, Nailah... Mom is back!" Lenna said as she headed for their house.

As soon as she called their names, the girls who weren't expecting that, suddenly screamed in great euphoria and then dashed out of their rooms at top speeds to appear before their greatly-missed mother to tightly embrace her.

"My beautiful daughters, hope you are good?" Lenna asked.

"Yes mom. We are fine." Nailah replied.

She then asked, "Mom, what about you? Hope you are doing great?"

"Yes dear. I am doing absolutely fine." Lenna replied.

"Let's go into the house and not create a scene here." She said further while everyone nodded their heads.

While seated on chairs, Nailah asked, "So mum, where did you go to look for Maxie that you didn't see him?"

"Well, it's a long story that we can do without." Lenna said and grinned.

She then said further, "Girls, I am famished. Is there anything at home that I can eat?"

"Yes mom." Lylla answered.

Then she and Nailah immediately stood to their feet to head for the kitchen.

As soon as they had gone, Maxmillan looked at his mom and asked with a curious expression in his face, "Mom, I guess your spellcasting ability is far greater than what we have come to know and understand."

"Yes dear. My spellcasting ability is much more powerful. And not to exaggerate, it's almost on par with that of old man Garreon who is an Astra Spellcraft Commander." Lenna said with pride in her tone.

"Wow." Maxmillan exclaimed in slight shock.

Although he had long arrived at this answer within himself, he was however shocked to hear it from his mom's mouth.

He then said further, "Assuming I can use Astra Mystralis and operate magical skills, I will surely learn from you, mom."

"But mom, you hid your skills really well. All these while, I thought you were an average user or Astra Mystralis, whereas you are a high-level user of Astra Mystralis, one that can contend with Astra Spellcraft Commanders."

Haha!

Lenna laughed.

"Maxie, spellcasting as it is for me, is over. I am done with that world. I am however glad that my two daughters can use Astra Mystralis, and my son is blessed with a space that he can pull monstrous weapons out of and take massive things into. I am just glad on how everything turned out to be." She said, with a concealed bitter feeling surfacing in her heart which didn't affect the beautiful smile in her face.

"Alright mom. I promise to make you proud of me. I promise to make everyone in our family proud of me." Maxmillan said with determination in his voice, while Lenna nodded her head and sweetly kissed Maxmillan on the forehead after standing to her feet from where she stood.

A few moments later, food was brought in by both Lylla and Nailah for Lenna to eat and neutralize the feeling of famishment that she felt.

Although he understood that he would go through intense, mind-rending pain for hours once he answered yes to the options provided, he was however fully ready for it.

Actually, ever since he experienced that pain that took him from an average-level human to peak-level human, he had always yearned for it. As it was only that kind of pain that would remind him that his body characteristics and attributes are increasing once again.

"I will become a superhuman being once the upgrades are complete. This is beautifully awesome. Can't wait." Maxmillan said out loud with a broad grin in his face.

As soon as he mentioned that, a system message abruptly appeared in the holographic screen in his vision.

A second later, he started to feel great heat that seemed like super-hot lava flow into each and every one of cells, where the intensely hot sensation that he felt, spread from the center of his chest that it abruptly originated from to every other area of his body.
