"Well, that wasn't so hard." Meng muttered under his mask while looking at the horizon with his hands on his hips.

"Thank you for rescuing me and my grandfather. I will never forget this favor!" Yun Che got up from the ground after making sure that Yun Canghai can sit straight without any problem and cupped his hands towards Meng.

'Hehe' Yun Che suddenly heard Jasmine giggle which slightly confused him but he ignored it.

'Capable of reanimating dead, storing death energy inside his body...This guy is actually using Higher Level Elemental Law. Though, it's very strange that he can use it without turning crazy...No human capable of cultivating Darkness Law is a normal individual...No...He is capable of doing that yet his body seems to be also compatible with Light Laws. What is this person? Why can't I see through him entirely? Just with his constitution, he would be definitely highly valued in most of the High-Rank Star Realms. He also already has all of his Profound Entrances opened' Jasmine thought to herself while watching the masked Meng with great interest. She was even complementing whether to show herself in front of him which would allow her to see more of Meng's secrets.

"...En" Meng turned at Yun Che who had a dead-serious expression before he lightly nodded his head.

"*cough* I never expected you to truly come back...I take it you have investigated the Mighty Heavenly Sword Region since you are here." Yun Canghai said in a weak voice, gaining both of their attention.

"I indeed did investigate them...They are a dangerous bunch, well, not them entirely but their leader is. He is cunning and obviously ruthless, rotten to the core...although I haven't found any real evidence, he definitely killed a lot of his own allies and maybe even relatives just to get the power. I apologize for using the name of the Illusory Demon Royal Family but it was safer to let them know that I am here under their orders." Meng folded his arms and explained with closed eyes.

"Ah, n-" Yun Canghai wanted to reply but he was stopped by Meng raising his hand.

"However, what I have found out about those invasions of your Illusory Demon Realm is that you have a rat there..." Meng opened his eyes and the eyeballs of his mask once again started lightly glow in icy blue color.

"?!! Are you saying that there is a traitor?!!" Yun Canghai almost jumped up to his feet once he heard Meng's unbelievable words.

"Careful!" Yun Che dashed to his grandfather to support him.

"...I am an outsider so you don't have to trust me and I am not even asking you to trust me but try to gather more information once you return home and then think whether all those invasions were so flawlessly planned by your enemies alone." Meng shook his head and replied in complete indifference.

"*sigh* Anyway, I truly thank you for rescuing both me and my grandson from the bottom of my heart! However, can I ask what was that...that technique you used to free me from the formation?" Yun Canghai sighed and nodded his head before thanking Meng.

'So he truly isn't someone from the Illusory Demon Realm...but if he isn't from there, who would be willing to risk helping my grandfather?' Yun Che thought while observing Meng with suspicious eyes.

"...It's not really a technique, I am just knowledgeable enough to operate with souls plus I wouldn't be able to do that without your permission. I simply made your body die for a split second before quickly reviving you. You could say that we tricked the formation into thinking that you are dead. The next time, they better come up with the better version of the formation that bounds to one's soul, haha." Meng explained.

"I know that you wanted me to take you to the Illusory Demon Realm but I doubt I am capable of doing that in this condition." Yun Canghai said while looking down at his body. His entire body still felt quite numb and he even had problems channeling his profound energy. Not to mention that his profound strength was being sealed for several years therefore he has yet to recover to his peak condition.

"That's alright, I still have something to do. I made yet another promise so I better fulfill it. Will a few months of recovery be enough for you?" Meng nodded his head and asked.

"More than enough but I am afraid all Sacred Grounds will be looking out for me now that the news of my escape will spread through the entire continent." Yun Canghai said, remembering that he made a promise not to wreak havoc on this continent if Meng is to rescue him.

"I have the ideal location for you where you can hide for several months. Also, here you go, wear this talisman all the time, it should suppress your profound strength from leaking to the surroundings, making it harder for others to detect you or pick up your trace." Meng threw something at Yun Canghai which was caught by Yun Che who first inspected it before giving it to his grandfather.

"...Why are you actually helping us so much? We don't even know your name yet you are risking your own safety for strangers..." Yun Canghai asked with the least suspicion he could but no matter how much he felt grateful to Meng, he couldn't help but also be more vigilant due to Meng's unknown intentions.

"You have been schemed against. Like I said before, I plan to travel to the Illusory Demon Realm but if I were to travel there as someone from Profound Sky Continent, I might only make enemies but no connections or allies. Even if I were confident in fighting the entire Illusory Demon Realm, one always needs some connections, having only enemies is not good. Plus I need to accumulate a lot of good karma" Meng explained with his side facing them.

"Good karma?" Yun Che muttered with a dubious expression.

'Oh?' Even Jasmine focused her attention on Meng since seeing someone so compassionate with a clear heart using Darkness Laws was extremely rare, not to mention on this small plane.

"As you have seen earlier, I used sinister art to reanimate that dead person to do my bidding. Dead should remain dead, that's one of the most basic laws set by high heavens. By trying to trick that, you accumulate much more bad karma than you would get from just killing thousands of people. I have heard that one's karma also remains with them till their next life which would be slightly problematic in my case, haha." Meng explained while thinking that he can practically die several times without any kind of penalty, no, instead, he will be rewarded for dying which was an extremely heaven-defying technique.

'Hopefully, they will trust those reasons.' Meng thought with a slightly forced smile under his mask.

He even started wondering whether those "gods" in the higher planes are even capable of hiding a portion of their soul somewhere in case their flesh and the main soul get destroyed but he doubted it. He was practically unkillable as long as he would be extremely careful where he hides 3 small parts of his soul. The only way for him to die would be for someone to find those 3 parts of his soul or to die of old age.

"Grandfather, I might be incapable of keeping you company since I also have some things that need to be taken care of before I go back to meet my parents!" Yun Che said while apologetically bowing to Yun Canghai.

"Just go and take care of them, do you think that I would even require your protection? I am not that much weakened, Haha" Yun Canghai waved his hand before looking back at Meng who was now staring at Yun Che. Yun Canghai could feel that there was something that triggered sets of emotions within Meng. He could hardly see Meng's eyes but from the sour air around him, he could tell that Meng was most likely sad.

'I knew that I said myself that I would like to possess body without parents but knowing that this body's parents still might be somewhere out there makes me want to at least meet them once...Perhaps those are old sentiments from the old owner? I really can't rest easy knowing that my parents still might be alive...not after what that Dragon God said about my bloodline. If they are now dead and waiting for their turn to reincarnate, that's fine but if they are suffering somewhere...I need to find them no matter what to completely get rid of those old feelings.' Meng thought upon hearing Yun Che's words while touching his right side of the mask.

"Kid can go his way but just keep in mind that you shouldn't stay on this continent for too long or sacred grounds might go to you to interrogate you since you were the last person seen with your grandfather. Be done with your stuff within a few months preferably. Anyway, I will take your grandfather to the said hiding spot, they won't be able to find him there at all." Meng said before approaching Yun Canghai's side.

"Che'er, you need to be careful!" Yun Canghai said with narrowed eyes and Yun Che just nodded his head with a serious expression, giving his last thanks to Meng before he quickly left.

"You must be happy that you have reunited with your grandson, right?" Meng asked out of nowhere while watching Yun Che's distancing back.

"...Yes, but it seems like there is something eating at you. Don't you want to start a new life at the Illusory Demon Realm? No one would try to hunt you down for those techniques you have shown earlier. I am pretty sure those vicious sacred grounds would do everything in their power to get rid of someone with your abilities."

"?!" Meng looked at Yun Canghai with a surprised expression under his mask before he released a small knowing smile.

'Is he trying to recruit me or something?'

"I am not entirely sure about that, I will see if I will like it there, haha. Let's move on." Meng replied in an almost mysterious way with hidden meaning before ascending to the sky along with Yun Canghai.

Sorry that you had to wait for so long for this kind of chapter but I am truly tight on time and I don't want to cut off other stuff I would normally write.

Also, please don't be like "Meng is Yun Che's lapdog" or whatever. Please try to understand that this Yun Che has yet to do anything bad and Meng doesn't even know the things Yun Che would have done without his interference so you can't really blame him for behaving normally around him. All Meng knows about Yun Che is that he is possibly a womanizer...and possibly someone similar to him who just looks young but is much older.
