New Moon Profound Palace

"Haha, unbelievable! Little Meng, you are here just a few weeks and your understanding of spear is perhaps even higher than my son's!" When Meng was finished with his training in his new secret technique, he immediately heard someone start loudly laughing in delight.

"? Clan master. Brother Tie. I am still far from perfecting my moves, there are still numerous errors in my attacks." Meng turned around and respectfully bowed.

"Oh?! You actually see them? Then I guess there is no need for me to point them out, we truly lucked out to get you as a disciple."

"It's a good sight to see brother Su so obsessed with the way of spear. Brother Su truly fit in, I just hope brother Su will remember Iron Spear Sect once Heavenly Spear Thunderfire Fortress takes notices of brother Su." Tie Hengjun said with a smile. The elders and clan master all knew that Meng's talents were above even those self-proclaimed geniuses and it was just a question of time before he would catch the attention of other big sects, most importantly Heavenly Spear Sect.

During his time here, Meng spent a lot of time talking with other new disciples and he was usually even eating together with them and from what he saw, he knew that Iron Spear Clan's recruiting method was truly superb because he didn't find anyone who would behave selfishly or arrogantly. And other disciples actually liked him, instead of casting jealous gazes at him, they were looking at him in admiration, often going as far as trying to replicate his moves while he was training. Some disciples even came to him for guidance.

"Brother Tie, I am slightly offended by your words. I didn't choose the Iron Spear Clan because I had nowhere else to go or because it's the only sect teaching way of spear. I chose the Iron Spear Clan because of its reputation and after joining I can confidently say that the clan's reputation is well deserved. I doubt Heavenly Spear Thunderfire Fortress as one of those 4 major sects will have the same atmosphere like the one here...If I were to dislike their disciples or elders' demeanor I wouldn't join them even if their ancestors begged me on their knees." Meng narrowed his eyes, feeling truly slightly offended, and replied in the utmost serious tone.

"?! I apologize for presuming things without even knowing brother Su's ambitions" Tie Hengjun was shocked by Meng's words but he was even more shocked by his seriousness since he usually had a care-free air around him. Tie bowed to Meng, truly regretting his words but also at the same time appreciating Meng's words.

"Haha! Those are words of a true warrior, this time, even I apologize for my son's rash words. Still, little Meng, you should refrain from spouting those words in public lest we want to bring Heavenly Spear Thunderfire Fortress's wrath on ourselves. We are just an insect in front of them." The clan master laughed aloud to get rid of the tense air before he also slightly bowed to Meng as an apology.

"Eh? Please don't bow to me...It's true that I was slightly offended but I was also too serious about it, mainly because I think of brother Tie as a friend." Meng shook his head and said with a smile.

After that, the clan master explained to him why he came here to meet him together with his son. He is supposed to go congratulate a new palace chief of New Moon Profound Palace, Qin Wuyou. He was about to go together with a few elders and his son but he suddenly thought of Meng and decided to take a look and ask him if he doesn't want to join for the banquet taking place in New Moon Profound Palace.

Meng thought about his time and decided to come along as he could use the time there to cultivate while he could also get information about other large sects residing in this city and observe their experts.

While they were on the way, Vista asked Meng something interesting.

[How is the host feeling about being the disciple of Iron Spear Clan? The host can use this chance to make himself visible and attract some attention from four major sects since there will be 2 branches of those major sects]

'Everyone is treating me well, no one is fighting each other for power and neither do I feel there any major negative emotions. New disciples are aiming to become stronger but not all alone, they spar with each other, growing stronger together. Creating one's sect sounds like quite an appealing idea to me but creating completely a new one while also gathering the right members and other stuff around it is too bothersome for me.' Meng replied while walking by Tie Hengjun's side.

[Then how about making this Iron Spear Clan which already has a foundation one of the strongest sects?]

Hearing Vista's suggestion, Meng slightly opened his mouth, before it curled up in a wide smile.

'That sounds good but I definitely don't want this clan to recruit any disciples with tainted hearts. Still, the idea sounds good...and I also already have an idea how would they be able to remain strong even without my presence.' Meng said with a slightly obsessed smile.

[...Oh no, that smile.] Vista saw the same time when Meng took a liking to the way of spear.

'Oh yes...I will transcend the limits of the way of the spear set by mortals. I can feel that there are sets of different realms in mastery over the spear while the final one for the mortals should be |one with the spear|, connecting your body, senses, soul, and everything with your spear, making it move just by your mind instead of your muscles. I want to go beyond that.' Meng said in passion.

[...But how does the host want to go beyond it? Isn't that the complete mastery that can be achieved only by someone talented enough? To connect one's body and mind with one's weapon...What more is there to achieve with the tool for killing?]

'Instead of becoming one with your weapon, how about you yourself become a weapon? And don't do something like calling a weapon a "tool for killing". It's obvious that if you don't have high enough mastery, you won't be able to sense its emotions. The realm beyond I am talking about is...ah, I just remembered the right name for it...Spear Intent. Connecting with your spear and feeling its emotions, using them to attack your opponents.'

[...Sensing weapon's emotions? Is the host able to sense its emotions since he can talk about this so confidently?]

'Nope but every time I tightly grasp its shaft, I can feel like it's trying to communicate with me, also just holding it is giving me peace of mind and not just because I can protect myself with it since I don't really need it for protection with my Physique.' Meng explained and after that, Vista was quiet.

When they arrived, the clan master immediately announced his arrival with a hearty laugh after he exchanged pleasantries with a newly appointed palace chief, Qin Wuyou directed his gaze at Tie Hengjun and commended him for his talent and calmness before he couldn't help but notice Meng who was standing at the far back of the group, this time without a mask as it would only attract unwanted attention.

'Is that kid at the 6th stage of Elementary Profound Realm? He even wears completely different clothes than his fellow disciples. Why would Tie Zhancang bring this disciple here when everyone else with him is already at Nascent Realm. It can't be that he is doing this as a sign of looking down on New Moon Profound Palace, right?' Qin Wuyou thought with a slight confusion visible in his eyes because he knew that New Moon Profound Palace and Iron Spear Clan had a relatively good relationship.

"Is Palace Chief Qin interested in our most recent addition to our clan? This disciple is named Su Meng and he is very talented, please ignore his cultivation base." The clan master understood Qin Wuyou's worries to he just said this.

"Of course, anyone who Clan master Tie brought here is our guest." Qin Wuyou nodded his head with a calm smile.

However, not everyone was so calm...on the New Moon Profound Palace's disciples' side...

"Eh?! Is that brother Su?!" Xia Yuanba exclaimed when he saw Meng with the rest of the Iron Spear Clan members.

"Brother Su was actually able to repair his profound veins on his own, huh?" Yun Che muttered with a bit of surprise visible on his face.

'He was even able to cultivate so fast, reaching the 6th stage of the Elementary Realm...I have reached 1st Nascent Realm only after obtaining Evil God's Fire Seed...' Yun Che thought.

'Don't be deceived by his cultivation base. There is great wisdom visible in his eyes, not to mention his abnormal Physique...I have never seen anything like it, except for...' Yun Che suddenly heard Jasmine's voice in his head, completely shocking him since he knew how amazing she was so no one here would be able to garner her interest.

'Except for what?' Yun Che asked curiously.

'Except for my brother's special Profound Art...Just be careful around him before you discover his true intentions.' Jasmine replied shortly, not wanting to reveal more.

'His bloodline is pure human...How is it possible for him to have a similar physique to a Divine Profound Art Great Way of the Buddha? His body shouldn't be able to withstand it without inherited bloodline or profound veins from a True God.' Jasmine thought to herself, watching Meng with interest flashing in her eyes.

"You know someone from Iron Spear Clan?" A female disciple who was seated behind them asked curiously.

"Yeah, senior sister Lan Xueruo, that disciple is named Su Meng and he used to work for my Xia sect back in Floating Cloud City." Xia Yuanba explained with a happy expression to see Meng appear here.

"Hmm, I see..." She nodded her head while observing Meng with a serious look in her eyes.

The timeline doesn't make much sense but please excuse it.
