Chapter two

Marie slowly woke up from her slumber. She tried to look around but she couldn't see a thing it was all hazy and blurry. She felt warm and cosy but with her surroundings being unclear she called her system.

'Frank! Where am I?'

Greeted with no response Marie quickly realized that she was not able to communicate with Frank when she was hosting a new body. Other than having an addiction to harry potter Marie loved to watch doctor shows from that information she could tell that she was a just-born baby. This was the perfect time and place for her. All she had to do was be a smiley happy baby with no tantrums. This is the ultimate plan if she ever wanted to complete her goal of becoming petunia's parent's golden child.

Over seven months, Marie was able to move around and walk with a lot of assistance. Currently, she was slowly trying to manipulate her parents into thinking she was a normal baby.

However, when her parents went to bed Marie started her plan to become magical. If Lily was able to perform magic she should also be able to. In theory, because of the bond by blood, she should also have magic running through her veins. The only problem is that it needs it to be activated at a young age or at least before eleven.

From all the information in the books, podcasts, fan fiction etc. Marie knew what the most common technique in finding her magic core was. She sat up and leaned against the side of the crib. Closing her eyes and taking deep breaths in and out she tried finding her core. This was a tiresome process that went on for months before she could find a glimpse of her magic core.

Marie got super excited she could see a small purple ball inside of her, the ball was the size of a raisin, no wonder she was not able to learn magic her core was practically non-existent.

Sensing other purple dots trying to move away from her core. She knew why Petunia was not magical like her sister. It was because her magical aura was not attracting magical energy. This meant she had to bring the purple dots to the magical core herself. This was a tedious process it took so much energy for one dot that Marie immediately fell asleep.

Stirring awake Marie looked at her surroundings it was currently in the morning and her parents were not awake yet. Usually, Marie did not cry but when she woke up she was extremely hungry and exhausted from the magic collecting. Who knew it would take her so long but if she keeps going like this every day it will be better right? Marie thought

But then again of it was easy would Petunia need our help living her life. Short answer no.

Marie started wailing to get her parents attention, she was hungry and the fact that she has to live like this for years does not help. After wailing for about five minutes her mother came in the baby room and took Marie in her arms.

'shush baby it's ok, are you hungry do you want mommy to feed you'

as if she said the magical word Marie started nodding her head frantically.

Carol (her mother) took her downstairs to the kitchen where she placed Marie in a baby chair. Marie looked at her mother, she was a beautiful woman who looked like the carbon copy of adult Lily.

On the other hand, she looked like exactly like her father Gregory Evans. He was blond with blue eyes and a lean muscular frame and a kind smile.

Petunia and her father looked quite alike the only difference was the fact that Petunia was female and had her mother body frame and facial features except for the smile that she received from her father.

Carol Evans prepared her food and fed her slowly.

Marie had slowly gotten used to the routine of gathering magical energy and being an all happy cheery baby.

I always felt that Petunia Evans was such an unfortunate character, she was never the golden child and she knew it and on top of that, it was so sad to see that her sister was even more special. I think this is what led her to become such a bad character. However, if instead of lily Petunia were to have been a witch I think the sibling bond would have been better but sadly I think that Petunia would not have been able to stand the constant discrimination from the wizarding world.
