"What is it that you want to tell me?" Matthew looked straight into Nyx's eyes as he gently asked her.

Matthew already had a rough idea about what might be she talking about. However, he decided to listen to her before reaching to any conclusion.

Matthew called out her name gently. "Nyx~"

However, she wouldn't look up at him, probably because she was embarrassed.

Matthew understood that and continued caressing her gently for a bit longer before speaking again.

"Nyx forgive me for making you cry, I am a bad guy right?" Nyx still won't look up, yet she gave a nod of disapproval, the hand with which Matthew was caressing her head was removed as a result, which she quickly placed back to its former place, urging Matthew to continue caressing her head.

Matthew couldn't help but chucked at her antics. She would act spoiled like this from time to time and Matthew loved this thing about her.

Matthew was completely entranced by her adorable reactions, he somehow pulled himself together, however not before making her a bit more embarrassed by his stare.

"I apologize, even though you gathered the courage to tell me the truth, the truth which was I already aware of. I still couldn't tell you it's okay right away and made you anxious.

I thought I was prepared, but I was still a little hurt when you told me why you approached me and that ended up hurting your feelings; however, I am well aware that the moments we've shared along the way all these years are real, and I want you to be aware of it as well.

"... Gosh, It's not fair for you to act like that when I am the older one here seriously. And why are you apologizing, I am the one at fault here! " It might sound like she was complaining, but her smile was as vibrant as fresh Fuchsia¹ as she tried to hide her embarrassment.

They both went silent as if lost in their own world as they stared at each other's face lovingly, they didn't need to any fancy words, the look in their eyes said it all how much they cherish each other, how much they are in love, now that their lips were only a few centimeters apart, they both closed their eyes as they savored the taste of their love so closely for the first time.
