Chapter 25 Cultivate (1)

There are 3 main paths in cultivation. The body, energy, and soul. Or Body, Qi, and soul. Every path is divided into 9 major realms and these major realms are mostly divided into 4 small realms.

For example, the first realm of the body path is called the 'Body Tempering realm'.

For a normal person, this realm is divided into 6 small realms. The skin, muscle, organs, bones, vascular, and marrow tempering stage.

When your body has strengthened itself enough you will break through to the second stage the 'Soldier realm'. This realm is divided into 4 small realms, the lower, middle, high, and peak stages.

The major realms for the body path are Body tempering, soldier, warrior, king, emperor, overlord, hero, saint, and the celestial realm.

Body cultivation can also be measured by a metric system using Jin.

For example, the 1st small realm of the Body Tempering realm can give the most average person 50 Jin of bodily prowess.

But for Ben, this is totally different. Due to his bloodlines and constitution his power will be much greater than anyone has ever seen.

As for the bloodlines Ben possesses, they are the bloodline of Pride, Wrath, and Void Kitsune.

Normally someone with multiple bloodlines will have to choose which one to awaken and if one has enough talent awaken another one. This is the case for his father.

Adramalech has awakened his Pride bloodline and Void Kitsune bloodline, that is why he has 9 tails.

However Ben doesn't have this problem. His constitution [Heaven and Earth] sole purpose is balance. That means even though he awakens all bloodlines his body won't overload in power and he will be killed, his body balances the bloodline perfectly and provide him with the perks of all bloodlines.

Inside one of the inner spatial realms of Yggdrasil sat Ben crosslegged. His visage is calm and collected. After going through all the information given to him he saw the path he needed to take.

His first step would be taking the first step in completing his [Demon God] constitution.

Ben concentrated on the world around him. Just like he did when trying to comprehend the [Divine Demon God] technique. And just like before, it felt like he could 'see' the world around him.

This time without being distracted by his eyes observing fate, Ben focused on this surreal feeling.

It is like an out-of-body experience, but instead of it being unexpected, Ben could consciously do this. Everything within a dome of 10 meters couldn't be any clearer for Ben to 'see'. But anything further than 10 meters is completely dark.

It felt like he is omnipotent inside this 10-meter dome. This is the soul sense, the ability to 'see' the world with your soul.

The technique [Divine Demon God] relies on the practitioner's affinity, comprehension, and ability to control Demonic energy and law. Of course, someone with the [Demon God] physique doesn't have a problem with this.

The moment Ben used his soul sense to try and sense energy, he is overwhelmed by the world that opened up to him. A colorful painting is painted right in front of him.

Red, black, gold, grey, and blue. All kinds of colors danced around Benjamin. They sang a beautiful song with each other. It felt like they liked being around Benjamin, as whenever they would float away it would come right back.

Benjamin's affinity to the qi's floating around him is so high, that the energies themselves gathered around him.

There were some energies that were reluctant to be around Ben or just curious, like a curious kitten that didn't really know if it could trust you or not.

These were energies that Ben didn't have a high affinity for.

An incredible peacefulness fell over Ben. As he began to smile, like a kid that found something new and fun to play around with.

Benjamin begins to laugh. His senses took control over the energies. The energies hummed in delight.

'This kid. Normal geniuses need at least a day or two to even sense the energies. Don't even talk about taking control over them without comprehending them first. Even though techniques fill in this gab for them to already start cultivating.' Yggdrasil shook his head as he looked at Ben.

'I can't compare this boy to our geniuses.'

As Ben had his fill of fun and stopped laughing like an excited little kid. His visage became serious again.

The technique [Divine Demon God] needs you to create 7 energy nodes in your body. These 7 nodes represent the 7 clans of the Demons. The 7 nodes each have a signature of one of the 7 Clans. They represent the potential to stand on top of the Demon world, like a God of Demons.

That is also why this constitution is called [Demon God]. Of course, the purpose of these nodes to represent standing above the Demons like a god isn't its real purpose, it's only a plus that it can be valued like this.

The nodes real purpose is to lay the foundation for the abilities the constitution can provide. Without these nodes, the abilities of the constitution cannot reach their full potential.

Ben is considering which node to start with. [Divine Demon God] says that it doesn't matter in what order the nodes are formed.

'Which one should I start? I have my Pride and Wrath bloodlines from dad. But the issue with my eyes makes me want to start with Greed and Envy.'

The reason Benjamin is considering starting with the Greed and Envy nodes is because they are located in the eyes. Having these nodes first will take some of the burden on his eyes away.

Instead of [Gaze of fate] letting Ben have a few seconds of vision without the blindfold, the seconds will be stretched out to a few minutes because of the Greed and Envy nodes.

The difference in time must seem insignificant. But it is a difference between having the ability to only blink once and watching a short video of a few minutes. You can do a lot in a few minutes.
