Chapter 23 Cultivation Techniques

Ben wakes up with a splitting headache. He grabs his head while groaning. "What was that?"

He looks around and is shocked by what he sees. Vibrant colors swirl all around each other. It looks so beautiful that a feeling of wanting to cry wells up from deep within Benjamin.

But before he could do so, his vision blurs and a biting pain assaults his eyes. "Ack! What is happening!?"

Benjamin hears his father chuckle lightly. "You really are too talented for your own good. Without any prior knowledge on how to, you used your soul sense in tandem with your demonic eyes to comprehend [Divine Demon God]."

Adramalech shakes his head and sighs. "This technique is created by the first holder of the Demon God constitution. Every Demon born with this constitution has the right to learn this technique. But you have to know that the number of individuals that had this constitution throughout time is infinitely low compared to how many people exist.

But any of these individuals are at the forefront of history. Leaders, generals, and pioneers of their time.

The fate this technique holds is outrageous. If the Demons didn't have this technique we wouldn't have been where we are now, one of the strongest races throughout the universe."

Adramalech looked seriously at Ben. "If you weren't my son and you hadn't unconsciously stopped comprehending the technique, your mind would have been split apart and your body crushed. You should be happy to only have been unconscious for a few days."

"Who was that man that I saw?" Ben asked.

"That is Lucifer Pride. The original holder of the constitution of the demon god. He created the technique. He is also our ancestor. Our family is the direct descendant of him. I have the constitution of the Demon God, my father has it, his father before him and his father before him. All the way to Lucifer Pride."

Adramalech sighs again. "I wanted you to find out for yourself but..." A blindfold is put over Ben's eyes. "I'll have to tell you now, otherwise it could potentially hurt you."

Ben looks at his father stretching out a hand. "Don't resist."

Adramalech places his hand on Ben's forehead. A stream of information was projected into Ben's mind.

Information about himself. [Demon god] constitution, [Heaven and Earth] constitution, 3 bloodlines, and about his soul.

For an Angel and Demon to have a child, only one of the two races' would manifest itself in the child. Sometimes an Angel can be born with affinities belonging to the Demon half, but it won't have a body as a Demon has. Or the child is born a Demon with Angel affinities, but won't have the powerful soul an Angel has.

The Demons and Angels are just too opposite of each other.

But for Benjamin to have the body of a Demon and a Soul of an Angel, it should not be possible. But this is where the constitution [Heaven and Earth] comes into play.

The [Heaven and Earth] constitution isn't ranked that high, only somewhere in the middle of all constitutions that exist. The constitution has only one ability. Balance. It balances everything that has to do with your own existence. It makes the most opposite things coexist.

Why hasn't this occurred before? The chance for this constitution to appear in a union between Demon and Angel is next to zero, infinitely small.

And on top of that, if the child is born an Angel it doesn't have a body for the constitution to manifest in. If born a Demon its body talent would be overwhelmingly high and the bodies of Demons can already be counted as a constitution, due to this the chance for a constitution manifesting inside a Demon's body is almost nonexistent.

For Ben to have two constitutions is the result of having practically three full World's blessings and powerful parents that stand on top of the Universe.

What Ben didn't know was that his parents also sacrificed portions of their power for himself and his sister to be born with constitutions. Otherwise, the chance for them to be born as they were as close to zero.

The higher one's cultivation the more difficult it becomes to have children but the result is for the child to become more talented the higher one's cultivation is.

The [Heaven and Earth] constitution makes it so, Ben's Angel soul can exist inside Ben's body and for all 3 bloodlines to coexist inside Ben's body.

His 3 bloodlines are the Pride bloodline, Wrath bloodline, and the Void Kitsune bloodline.

Each holding immense power.

Ben also has the [Demon God] constitution, inherited from his father. This is one of the most powerful constitutions the Universe has ever seen. Its defense is top-notch, its power undeniable, but what people awed and feared the most were its abilities.

This constitution is special in a way that [Demon God] isn't complete yet when born with it. You need to complete it first.

One of the steps has to do with the eyes. And the ability that Ben unlocked uses both eyes at the same time. The ability is called [Gaze of Fate], it allows one to, as the name implies, gaze upon fate.

What Ben did with the technique was gaze upon its fate. Fate is a funny thing, it is intangible and a complete mystery, but it decides all that is and what can be. If one accumulates enough fate for themselves, their name will ring throughout time long after their death.

For example, the man, Lucifer Pride, Ben saw when using [Gaze of Fate] on the technique. Lucifer has such an astronomical amount of fate, even though he has long since died, his legacy has such an imposing amount of fate that it almost killed Ben.

[Gaze of Fate] also has the ability to see through all things, any illusion or deception is useless against it.

Ben finished sorting through the information. He didn't really understand everything, he just held the knowledge.

It felt like reading a book and having the ability to perfectly recall a sentence but not understanding the meaning of it.

A sigh came from Adramalech. "Why do you have to be so talented? Now you have to keep this blindfold on until your body crosses into the third stage and even then your eyes will be under heavy strain."
