Transcending Reality: The Singularity's Awakening

“In the realm of fiction, the mind unfurls its imaginative wings, conjuring desires and worlds beyond our grasp. It offers a sanctuary, an escape from a somber reality, or perhaps a glimpse into the lives we long for. What if this tapestry of imagination became tangible, every desire a reality, and you the central character of an extraordinary tale? Would it remain fiction, or would it meld with the essence of reality? Picture the liberation of detachment, stepping into a world that mirrors your dreams. As you ascend or descend into its depths, what unfolds is a journey beyond the ordinary—a journey through the boundless realms of your own creation.” Disclaimer I own my idea and world building and og characters https://www.patreon.com/BeyondTheWriter there will be updates about the novel there until I understand how to build a community.

Chapter 12: Transcendence

Approaching the radiant white portal before him, Alvis's ethereal soul ventured into it, only to be greeted by an intense burst of blinding light that momentarily left him disoriented. As the brilliance subsided, Alvis cautiously opened his eyes, only to find himself once again in the presence of an overwhelming expanse of pure, colorless whiteness. Yet, upon closer inspection, he realized that this wasn't white as he knew it, but rather a spectrum-defying essence.

Amidst this ethereal sea of colorlessness, Alvis's gaze was drawn towards a simple looking throne that stood in the distance. Upon it sat an enigmatic figure, a presence that he could only identify as the embodiment of the narrative itself. As he approached the throne, Alvis was met with a chorus of murmurs echoing in his mind, each word resonating with deep significance:

"Dimension, space, time, chaos, order, fate, destiny, humanity, destruction, creation, supreme, divinity, choice, right, wrong, belief, lie, virtual, reality, falsified, creation, words, written."

Standing before the throne, Alvis observed the being on it. Its eyes, previously closed, now opened to reveal a deep, bottomless black that emanated an aura of power and control.

However, this power was momentarily overtaken by disdain and displeasure as the being lowered its head, a display of emotions that was almost unexpected given its otherwise imposing presence.

Alvis's expression remained calm and emotionless as he addressed the being, acknowledging the manipulation and control that had been exerted over him. "I was right. You were the one who granted me the chaos concept. It wasn't a fragment of my personality; it was a fabrication I convinced myself of to escape the notion of being a puppet. But even then, I couldn't escape your influence."

The being on the throne fixed its gaze upon Alvis, its features revealing a complex mixture of emotions. With an air of curiosity and authority, it spoke, its voice resonating in the void, "How is it, Alvis Bright? You stand at the convergence of truths and revelations."

Without waiting for an answer from Alvis, the being continued speaking: "How is it? Did you enjoy the place? Here is where everything ends and begins anew. Welcome to the White Page Dimension, or rather, the Other Page. The cost of bringing you here has been immense. Time is fleeting; I'll share crucial information you need to grasp.'"

The being's words hung heavily in the air, intermingling with the intensity of Alvis's emotions. As Alvis's frustration and anger erupted into a fiery proclamation of his questions, the being's demeanor remained eerily calm, almost as if it was anticipating this outburst.

"HEY FUCK INFORMATION YOU WANT TO IMPLIE I WANT TO FUCKING KNOW WHY YOU CONTROLLED ME WHY THE FUCK CASUALTY MANIPULATION WORK'S ON ME SHOULDN'T I AS SINGULARITY BE UNIQUE WAS IT ALL LIE FROM THE START WHY DESTROYING MY SIMPLE LIFE I DIDN'T WANT THIS I DIDN'T WISH TO BE HERE TELL ME WHY," Alvis's voice echoed, a torrent of pent-up emotions pouring forth.

In response, the being's smile only grew, revealing an enigmatic and chilling countenance. Its words cut through the turmoil, carrying a weight of finality and sacrifice. "Alvis Bright, this is the Third time we meet. Two times, you never understood what I meant. This time, you will, because it's the last..."

The being's words hung in the air, both a promise and a warning, a final opportunity for Alvis to uncover the truths that had remained shrouded in mystery. Alvis's anger and confusion were met with a calm assurance that this encounter marked the culmination of their interactions, the end of a cycle that had spanned time and reality.

Gazing upward at the being seated on the throne, Alvis spoke with uncertainty, "Losing two times is impossible. That's inconceivable. If that's the truth, you wouldn't be here."

The being nodded and responded with assurance, "Indeed, I wouldn't be here if I were within the Omniverse. However, we find ourselves outside it, closer to the main world than to the Omniverse itself..." Cracks began to appear across the being's form. Noticing this, the being raised an eyebrow and uttered,

"Pose one question, receive one answer, and sacrifice 15% of my existence. Intriguing. Four pieces of information, along with the action of sending you back, will suffice." Before Alvis could fathom the situation, the being continued,

"Firstly, you must impose restrictions to ascend your talent. You've already initiated one such restriction when you assimilated the previous talents. By doing that, you can truly grasp the potency of talent and wield it to its utmost."

"Secondly, the Causality of Singularity has operated. If it succeeds, I shall be erased from existence. I've enacted it thrice, shattering the rule repeatedly. This timeline will forever remain incapable of reproduction."

"Thirdly, never, under any circumstances, become an external creator of hierarchy. Everything is to be formed within; trust me, I possess superior knowledge. Nothing is real until it transitions from the virtual."

"Lastly, embrace greater comprehension. Abstain from the blind pursuit of power. Elevate the levels of your life. This is the path toward progress."

As the information imprinted itself onto his soul-brain, Alvis shifted his gaze towards the being. It rose from its unadorned throne, descending step by step until it stood right in front of him. The being's final words were a soft murmur, "Alvis Bright, seek the uncharted. Embrace challenges without fear. At the summit, you shall stand; in the depths, you'll never falter. Perfection lights our path, and morality remains essential. Do not let the virtual blindfold you..."

Completing its speech, the being raised its hand. Cracks began to trace intricate patterns around it, gradually extending until they covered the entire being. It materialized a white portal. Confusion gripped Alvis, his mind buzzing with numerous questions, seeking answers. Yet, before he could voice a word, the portal enveloped him, swallowing him whole.

Sensing the approach of his inevitable moment, the being retraced its steps to its throne. Gazing upward into the boundless expanse of whiteness, it uttered, "I am aware that you can perceive me, that my words reach you—whether in the virtual or the real. Tempering too much is ill-advised; let the virtual retain its essence, and reality persist as itself. Revelation will manifest when its timing aligns, Nar... Hahahaha"

Laughter echoed through the air, a manic symphony of cracks dancing across the being's form. Amid the spectacle unfolding before it, the being burst into laughter. The dimensions enclosing it crumbled, a cascading collapse that devoured everything—including the being itself. Amidst the surreal scene, it chortled, "You preferred the story untold, didn't you? Isn't that right? Hahahaha..."
