Rox dug in.

A little later, while Dezi was showing Rox around the mansion, they entered a large room where he saw several western round-up paintings, steer horns mounted on the wall, and even wagon wheels made into tables or even light fixtures. The room was attractive, spacious, and definitely gave off an authentic western atmosphere. The rest of the mansion was similar, but this room seemed to center around old western artifacts much like a museum, which was why they called it the museum room. Here, they had all kinds of old tintypes or daguerreotypes of people such as Billy the Kid, Wild Bill Hickok, Doc Holliday, and many other famous cowboys.

“I’ve seen everything now. A museum room. Isn’t that kind of like overkill?”

Before Dezi had a chance to answer, Nick came in. “Dezi, would you leave Rox and I alone, please?”

“Father—” Dezi began.

“Please,” Nick interrupted.

Dezi looked over at Rox. “Rox, do you—”
