When Dezi Falconi, a pampered rich boy, meets up with Rox Forrester, a savvy trailer trash hottie, sparks fly. Chapter 10

Now, as he looked at Rox, he thought about how respectful he’d been. He’d called him “sir,” had not raised his voice once, offered no threats, and his attitude was good. Hell, he’d even apologized. Because of it he decided to go easy on Rox.

“No need to apologize, son. I’m sure you meant no harm. I agree with Dezi. You don’t need to live herein this broken down trailer. If he can help you get on your feet again, I’m all for it.” He looked overat Dezi. “Dezi, maybe we need to invite this boy to dinner some night so we can get to know each other. I can tell he’s a bright boy. Why, I might even have a say in what his future might be.”

Rox and Dezi looked at each other, surprised.

“I’ll get out of here now and let you talk it over. I’m sure you have big plans to make, and I’ll get out of your way while you make them.” He looked at Rox. “By the way, son, you can call me Nick.” With that, he waved and turned to leave.
