That's a Fan!

When Fan Xifeng and Fan Xiaodan entered the dining room, and indeed, the two pairs of Fan couple were already seated around the palatial, lavish dining table. Seeing the youngsters entering, the smile on their faces brightened.

The two young women first greet the elders before sitting on their own gold accent dining chairs. Seeing that all the family members were seated, the fifty-nine years old butler Li Qiang ordered the maids to serve the meal.

While each meal is being serve, the Fans were having their conversation.

"How is your first day at work?" Grandpa Fan turned to Fan Xifeng.

"Everything is good grandpa. I'm starting to familiarized myself with the work flow and researches of the department." Fan Xifeng replied, she also decided not to tell her grandfather and father about the two projects since she wanted to solve it on her own.

"That's good," Grandpa Fan paused, "Then how about that hideous disguise you wore? Have you experienced any discrimination or bullying?"

Fan Xifeng smiled. "Grandpa, I only wore a disguise. It doesn't mean that I also need to disguised my personality." Fan Xifeng grinned towards Grandpa Fan.

Grandpa Fan laughed heartily, the sound boomed the four walls of the luxurious dining room. "That's a Fan!"

This makes everybody's mood brighter. Soon, the meals were finally served and they started to eat their dinner warmly.

Since Fan Xifeng had her tea earlier, she opt out from having and excused herself from the rest. Understanding that tomorrow is really her first day of work at Fan Enterprise, they let her rest early.

The next day, Fan Xifeng arrived early at the company since the Research and Development department general meeting would start around 9 AM. The general meeting would also serve as an opportunity for her to be introduced to all of its staff.

Fan Xifeng looked around the table. She frowned. She strictly ordered Qi Anmei that she wanted the papers above her table by morning but is she had been waiting since she arrived and yet, no documents, no Qi Anmei that showed inside her cubicle.

Glancing at the clock on her left, she heaved a sigh seeing that it's almost 9. Realizing that Qi Anmei won't be coming, Fan Xifeng opened her handbag, took a flash drive from the small pocket inside and put it in her slack's pocket. Not forgetting to bring her laptop with her, she went out of her office.

Since she was also being toured around yesterday of every part of the R&D department office, Fan Xifeng knew her way to the conference room. Walking her way inside, she was able to see some staff already walking, their destination obviously the same with her.

Despite her silence, there are still those who glanced her way, paused to carefully look at her and seeing how hideous she looked, and ignored her totally.

Fan Xifeng do not mind and in fact, she like it better. As long as those people wont bother her, their discriminative eyes didn't weight an ounce to her care.

There was already someone, a middle aged female who was at the door. Fan Xifeng is familiar with her since she's the same woman who toured her around the office yesterday, Wang Jing, Supervisor Gu's assistant.

"Good morning Miss Jing." Wang Jing greeted her rather warmly.

"Good morning Miss Wang. Is Supervisor Gu already inside?"

"He already is, Miss Jing." Wang Jing replied and opened the door for her. Fan Xifeng murmured a "Thank You" and gets inside. Wang Jing followed since her purposed actually was just to wait for Fan Xifeng as ordered by Supervisor Gu.

When Fan Xifeng entered the conference room, she observed that the conference room is so spacious that despite of large conference table which Fan Xifeng could count there wore more than ten people already seated around it, the room still has enough space for the people to move.

Hearing the door opening, almost everyone look towards Fan Xifeng.

"Miss Jing, you're finally here. Please be seated." Supervisor Gu pointed her on the left side of the table were there were four people, three male and a female already familiar to Fan Xifeng since they were introduced to her yesterday by Wang Jing seated on that side. On the right side, there were already five people, four female and a male.

Fan Xifeng nodded politely before taking her seat. Although she saw the different emotion passing on everyone's eyes after seeing her, much upclose, An Xifeng just ignored them.

"Before we start the general meeting, I'll take this time to introduced to you the new team leader of Team B, Miss Jing Feng, a research specialist from abroad and in fact, has been chased by the company for months to work here. Everyone let's give Miss Jing Feng a warm applause and welcoming!" Supervisor Gu said with a enthusiastic voice.

Sincere or not, everyone applauded. By common manner Fan Xifeng stood up and bowed once again. "Thank you everyone. Looking forward to be working with you all." Fan Xifeng said politely.

After receiving the "Welcome" from everyone, the general meeting officially started.

The Team B represented by Qi Anmei first reported their research and all the while, Fan Xifeng listened, however, in silence, all the questions were already line up in her mind. She took notes in the process in case she forgot them. This caught Cheuk Rongfang's attention since she's been observing the indeed ugly new team leader of Team B since basically, whether she admit it or not, since the woman isn't her friend yet, Team B and Team A are in competition against each other.

Qi Anmei finished her presentation and the time for questions and feed backing started. Qi Anmei however was fidgeting because she knew that she irresponsibly did not obey Fan Xifeng's order. However, she's not that scared since her sister Rongrong told her that Supervisor Gu allowed for a team member swap and it'll be tackled in the meeting. Therefore, Qi Anmei is less scared since she'll be switching team anyway.

"If anyone have some clarifications to make, questions or feedback to better the research Team B is making, members from both teams were free to raised a hand.

No one raised a hand except Fan Xifeng.
