Part 5

Silence, waves crashing, the breeze... that's all you could hear. Everyone was speechless. They stared into the distance hoping Buck's ship would come back. Then Alana took charge, "Alright everyone! Asher is gone and we don't know when they are coming back, so for now… I'm in charge." "Wait!" Sadie shouted tears forming, "We can't just let them stay with Buck! We have to go after them!" Alana crouched down to look Sadie in the eyes, "I never said we weren't going after them. To your stations!" Sadie hugged Alana so tight, she could barely breathe, "Thank you! Thank you!" Sadie said, with all the tears she could let out, rolling down her cheeks. "Alright, now stop crying. We have some idiodic people to save." "Yes ma'a- I mean… Yes captain!" off Sadie went. "Do you think they are doing ok?" Scott asked Alana, "I'm certain they are. Both of them are strong."

Julli woke up surrounded by bars and… Asher on the other side. She could hardly remember what happened, but her face hurt and Asher had a wound. "Holy crap! Ash, are you okay?!"... no response… "Ash!... Asher!" she tried over and over again until it clicked that he wasn't going to wake up. She was too dehydrated to cry, so she just sat in a corner until a creature came to check on them. "Sir, sir, please let me help him" Julli pleaded, "I dont know… I would have to ask cap'..." he replied, so he went back up to go find him. A few minutes later he came back down and said, "Buck said it was fine so… uh, just don't try to escape when i open your cell." and so he did just that. "Can I get some water?" she asked as nicely as she could, "Sure, I guess…" when he came back with the water, he handed it to her and locked her in Asher's cell. "I gotta go back up… just, don't do anything you'll regret." the creature seemed nicer than most of them, Julli thought. She had recalled something her mother said, something about water's healing abilities. "Alright, Ash. Let's put my skills to the test." there was enough water for her to rehydrate with, and the rest to heal Asher. She carefully rolled up the left side of his pants, and focused on moving the water. It took a few tries, but after she got the hang of it, she had the water cover his wound. A while later, Asher's wound was as closed and clean as Julli could get it, so she put the water back in the container and waited.

Soon Julli heard an,"Uhhh…", "Thank god you're not dead, Ash!" Julli pounced on him, making him wince a little. "What happened? Where are we? Why are my pants rolled up?" Asher asked, so confused, "Well first, we are in a cell on Buck's ship, second, I can't quite remember what happened, it's all kind of… blurry. Third, I had to heal your wound…" Julli replied. "That son of a bitch" Asher whispered under his breath, then he gestured to the water container, "Did you heal me with your witch powers?" "They aren't witch powers! I just have um… magical ability's." "So...Witch powers." Asher said with a smirk, "Stop it." she replied, but they both couldn't help but chuckle a little. "I'm so glad you're ok though." Julli said, trying not to cry, "I would never leave you, Julls." Then he noticed the bruise on the side of her face, "Who did that to you?!" "It doesn't matter. It's not a big deal." Julli said, holding Asher's hand, "Well, it matters to me." The creature from earlier came back down, opened the cell, and grabbed Julli, "Come along, cap' wants you." "Hey! Don't lay a finger on her again!" Asher shouted, "It's fine. I'll be back. You just rest, ok?" Julli said in a calming tone, "Fine…" he answered, but he didn't look so happy about it.

"Here she is captain" the creature held her in front of him, "Thank you. Now, I didn't get your name pretty lady." he said as he ran the tips of his finger against the bruise on her face, "It's-it's Julliet... sir." Julli said with displeasure, but Buck just laughed, "No need to be so formal with me. Now, Juliet… you and I are going to have a little… talk…"
