Part 2
"Why the hell are you crying over a splinter, Scott?" asked Alana. Alana is the first mate of the ship, second in command to the captain. "My uncle almost died from an infection! I don't want to die!" Scott, the gunner of the ship, takes care of all the weapons. Alana looked at him with a smirk, "But it was from a gunshot idiot." "Shut it Alana," said Scott. "Quit it you two!," the captain shouted. "Hey, uh... whatcha lookin at cap'?", "I... nothing you need to worry about Alana." "Do you think Buck was here?" asked Scott, "Yes...", replied the captain, still focused on a bush. Scott, more confused than ever, asked, " Well... why'd they leave? It's the only stop on the way to-" "SHHH!" the captain slowly walked up to the bush and went to reach for his sword.
Right before the captain was able to slash the bush, a bird flew out. "Holy shit, that scared the heck out of me!" "Can you ever go 2 seconds without saying anything, Scott?" Alana asked, annoyed. "Stop arguing you two, let's just get some sleep. We leave first thing tomorrow." the captain said, still focused on the bush.
After the pirates fell asleep, Julli went back to where her mother was. When she got back, her mother had a basket full of supplies and handed it to Julli. "Wh- Whats this for?" "Honey... there is something i've been meaning to tell you..." Julli's mother had told her about her water abilities... and that she should go with the pirates to see what they are up to. It would be a good opportunity for Julli to see the outside world. However, she was concerned, "That would explain all the sudden waves... but I can't leave you mom, you'd be all alone, an- and what if you get sick?!" "You need to go hun, I'll be alright, I technically survived by myself when you were little." Julli was tempted to stay, but her mother made her go. Julli said her final goodbye, grabbed the basket, and went to go hide on the ship. "Might as well get some sleep, it's going to be a long trip."

"BATTEN DOWN THE HATCHES!" Julli woke up curious of what was going on above deck. She went to go take a peek, and saw that they were heading into a big storm cloud. Everyone above deck was trying to keep the ship from crashing, there were more people that weren't on the beach last night. There was a little girl that was about to go overboard, Julli didn't want to just stand there and watch that happen! So she took the chance of being seen and grabbed her right before she went overboard. The wind picked up, the waves began to grow, everyone went below deck to wait out the storm. Julli didn't want to let the chance of the ship sinking. Soon there was a fire that grew within herself, her eyes began to glow, she took control of the waves around the ship and steered it out of the storm. The captain, the only person that saw this... was in shock. Julli's eyes shut one second and the next, she opened her eyes to tips of swords pointed right at her...
