A bizarre scene was unfolding in the Wyvern's lair, it had just been taking a nice nap when two intruders entered. One started bashing his eyes until he lost his vision while the other one repeatedly slammed him with a book, which was somehow super effective.

It tried to fight back, to no avail. Each and every single one of its attacks was either dodged or blocked. It was getting completely destroyed by an inferior species.

"Do you wish for power?"

An alluring voice appeared in the wyvern's mind, although he didn't trust it, he had no choice. He was on the brink of death, and he had a strong will to live.

"Then I shall grant it to you, kill those humans"

"A couple more hits and we can finish up!"

Lennon shouted amidst the chaos, the wyvern was making quite a lot of noise.

<An unknown power has infiltrated Rygor, the Lesser Wyvern>

<Rygor has evolved into a Demonic Wyvern, the difficulty has increased drastically!>

"The fuck? Len, you never said it would evolve!"

"I don't know what's happening either! Just focus on the battle, it's nearly dead anyways"

The wyvern had become larger, its grey scales turned into a deep, dark crimson red. A pair of horns sprouted on its head and its eyes opened, revealing a pair of pure red eyes. Its level had increased by forty and its stats had risen quite a lot. It made a loud noise that sounded like a combination of a roar and a screech.

"Shit, it's gonna use a skill, dodge it!"

A burst of flames appeared, its colour was a blackish red, and it was too large to dodge.

<You have lost more than 80% of your health, your movements become sluggish!>

<The durability of <Orc's Robe> is rapidly decreasing!>

<You have been scorched by the demonic flames, your health will decrease by 10 every second!>

"Those are demonic flames! We have to finish this quickly!"

Lennon shouted as he took out several health potions from his inventory and gulped them down and saw Tabsi doing the same thing. Fortunately, he had prepared for situations like these and had bought many potions beforehand.

'A demonic creature, it's main attack should be demonic flames and possibly a dark attribute skill as well'

"Be on alert! But try to do as much damage as possible!"

Lennon shouted as the wyvern spewed out more demonic flames.

<Your equipment <Orc's Robe> has broken!>

They had both managed to dodge it, but barely, and his robe had been destroyed protecting him from the flames. He was also losing HP quite quickly due to the effects of the flames.

<The world has judged the interference of the demons as exceedingly immoral!>

- Consume all of your magic power to cover all players in a ten metre radius around you (including yourself) in a coating of holy water.

- The coating will nullify all damage of the fire and dark attribute, and heal all players at a rate of 40 HP per second

- When the skill is active, you can move around freely in water and can also breathe underwater

- The skill lasts 10 minutes

'Finally!'

Whenever the world looks at you, it means you have been placed in an extremely unfair circumstance. However, there are certain conditions to trigger this. You can't just wander into a dragon's nest as a level one player and expect assistance from the world.

Only when a higher being intervenes with the intention to use monsters in order to eliminate the player does the world interfere. This is as in the early stages of the game, the higher beings are not allowed to mess with the players, not until the players are much higher levelled. The world also has to have noticed you beforehand.

In many cases, the world will grant you an item, a skill or a title which gives you a fighting chance.

Both Lennon and Tabsi's surroundings became much cooler as they regenerated their health, the effects of the demonic flame was also completely nullified.

"Huh?"

"I'll explain later! Focus on the boss!"

Tabsi was a bit confused, she had been running out of potions and thought she was going to die. But now her fighting spirit returned.

The battle was completely turned around, the wyvern's flames becoming ineffective. It tried using a skill called <Dark Missiles>, which launches homing arrows of the dark attribute, but those were quite easily repelled. <Blessing of Water> is truly an overpowered skill, and soon the healthbar above the wyvern was completely depleted.

Lennon had gained much more than expected from this boss fight. The new skill added to the shop was definitely the level 1 version of <Blessing of Water>, it would eventually evolve into that if Lennon decided to purchase and upgrade it to the max.

Other than that, he even gained two titles. The first one is a common title anyone could get as long as they fought a giant monster such as a kraken, a dragon or a giant.

However, the second one is quite special. You can only obtain it if the world has assisted you, and the assistance was successful. Meaning that you won because of the assistance, and even in Tisixa, no more than three players had this title. The reason being that there is no solid method of obtaining it, it can only be obtained through a series of coincidences.

Of course, Lennon was one of the three people who had this title and knew what it did.

Grants the special stat 'Luck'

It is the only way to obtain the special stat 'Luck', which directly influences every part of the game. You could say that it is one of the best stats in the game, but it is extremely hard to increase. Only Lennon knows that you can obtain one 'Luck' stat point every five hundred levels.

There are luck beads, but they are exceedingly rare, and Lennon wasn't going to focus on this for now as it didn't really matter too much to him.
