Tisit Online

Lennon is the number one player in a dying VRMMORPG game called Tisixa Online. However, the game suddenly announces its discontinuation. Instead, the developers created another game, called Tisit Online, which immediately became a world-wide sensation. Our protagonist, Lennon, noticed that the trailer for Tisit Online was a recreation of certain locations in Tisixa. After realising this, he quickly formulates a plan to dominate the world of Tisit Online. --- The cover does not belong to me, credits to the original artist, DM if you want me to take it down. also posted on royalroad

Hidden Boss (4)

The company which created Tisixa and Tisit Online is called Innovative. They had created an AI which administers everything within Tisit, though the players still had full control over the game's storyline and scenarios.

The AI is able to operate on its own every second of the day, and the AI is made to perfection with no chance of failure. This basically means that no one is needed to run Tisit, however, the developers enjoy watching the players progress through their game.

Currently, a group of six people were gathered around a TV screen, they are the small team of geniuses who created the AI for Tisit.

Currently, the television was showing a famous clip which had recently gone viral. Two NPCs fighting a boss monster which had wiped out an entire raid team of a leaderboard guild, and the NPCs clearly had the upper hand.

"Those? those aren't NPCs"

"Well obviously, Ran, they're players. None of the NPCs can perform those perfectly smooth movements, even if they've hit the level cap"

"They were smart to hide their identity, otherwise the guilds would be hunting them down"

"I don't think we've ever added those skills before? Did the AI create them itself?"

"Well, we did make it so the AI is able to do anything, so it is possible it created an entirely new skill tree"

After finishing the video, the developers turned their attention back to the live footage of the Rutenberg guild raiding a boss.

Two and a half weeks after the release of Tisit, the leaderboard looked like this.

<Leaderboard>

1. Erynnx - Level 85

2. LiuShang - Level 83

3. Marsh0ll - Level 83

4. Atomsplit - Level 82

5. AdvisingFern455 - Level 80

6. JustBill - Level 79

7. Axief - Level 79

8. Anicha - Level 79

9. DirtZ - Level 78

10. Zakuuma - Level 76

100. BKKBlue - Level 68

The majority of rankers were in the mid-70s, while the highest level player was already level 85. Lennon and Tabsi had been kicked off the leaderboard for a while now, but their stats were way higher than the number one player.

The average levelling speeds of players were quite fast now, the developers estimated that Erynxx well hit level 100 given another week or so. But after that, progress will start to slow down as the experience needed to level up drastically increases.

However, Lennon and Tabsi were still hunting down beads.

"This should be the last one, though it could be a bit difficult, the rewards should be nice"

"Alright, I was getting kind of tired anyways, I might have to log out soon"

"This shouldn't take too long, but we should probably hurry, just in case you know?"

"Yeah yeah whatever"

Lennon and Tabsi played together whenever they could in order to hunt hidden bosses. But Lennon is a college student and has classes, Tabsi seems to be in a similar situation as well. So, they can only play starting from the afternoon, and usually play deep into the night.

Currently, they were in the process of scaling a mountain, in order to get to the location of a hidden boss. In between their grinds, they had visited a blacksmith in order to enhance their equipment. But blacksmiths were quite prideful, and cared a lot about the weapons they crafted.

When Lennon requested a dwarven blacksmith to enhance his grimoire, he had to pay a lot of extra gold coins because the dwarf didn't classify it as 'a weapon worthy of enhancing'. Although it did take a while, both their weapons were enhanced.

<Primordial Gauntlets>

- A pair of gauntlets made out of an unknown metal and fused with mithril

- When equipped, grants +3 Strength, +1 Intelligence

- The gauntlet is able to be infused with an element through contact, and will increase the firepower of the element by 55%

- On every fourth hit, a shockwave will occur dealing 15 x [Strength]

<Superlative Grimoire>

- The first grimoire crafted by a renowned magic swordsman, with the help of a blacksmith, has become a masterpiece.

- When equipped, skills will cost 5% less MP

- Grants a 75% physical damage bonus

- Is able to use 45% of the user's total MP to triple the size of the weapon, while maintaining its original weight.

They were upgraded tremendously, and Lennon was quite happy about how it turned out, though Tabsi didn't seem to care.

The hidden boss they were going to fight is called a Lesser Wyvern, a weaker version of the Wyverns. However, it can't be estimated as even a Lesser Wyvern is still a descendent of the mighty dragons.

"We just have to slowly chip away at its health, I'll buff you every 12 seconds, just get as much damage in as possible"

"Yeah, you've said this six times now, and I've fought it in Tisixa, I already know its attack patterns"

"Good, just don't mess up and we'll be fine."

The Lesser Wyvern did not possess many skills, it is able to fly and breathe fire, those are its only skills which all species of Wyverns have. It is a level 70 hidden boss, even though Lennon and Tabsi were lower level, their stat points made up for it.

The Lesser Wyvern also had quite tough scales, obviously not as tough as the dragons, but does require a decent amount of strength to pierce through.

"Oh, yeah and be careful of its claws and tail, aim for its underbelly if possible"

"I know! Jeez, you don't have to repeat again"

Lennon then signalled for Tabsi to stop talking as they slowly climbed up and a large cave came into view. The cave was wet and dark, but every couple seconds you could hear the loud breathing of a creature. The breathing noises obviously belonged to the one they were looking for.

At the same time, both of them took out a potion from their inventory and drank it, and the dark space immediately became illuminated in their eyes.

A wyvern about the size of a living room was sleeping in its nest. Its grey scales camouflage well with the surroundings of the cave. Lennon put up his hand and Tabsi rushed forward.

<Thousand Jabs>

<Yeti's Claws>

Tabsi had been upgrading her skills as she levelled up, which resulted in <Frost Talons> evolving into <Yeti's Claws>. The wyvern was immediately woken up as it took a slash to the eye.
