Chapter 21- Times Change, Legends Remain

Waking up inside his room, Xin Yang was confused as to how he got here, but remembering what happened right before he lost consciousness, he figured out that either Ye Meng or Bai Lihua got him here.

And as he guessed, Ye Meng came inside the room to check up on him. "Knock before you come in, you imbecile!"

"Is that how you talk to someone who's been taking care of you for 4 days?" replied Ye Meng, which in turn surprised Xin Yang "Damn, I've been out for 4 days?"

"Yes, while we were organizing everything you were here sleeping" said Ye Meng, attempting to make a joke.

"Right, sure, anyhow let me just..." hopping out of his bed and wearing a robe Ye Meng got for him, he followed Ye Meng to the storage room.

"Don't you need to rest or anything?" asked the worried Ye.

"Not really, its just that my dantian got depleted to literally nothing, I just needed a little rest and now I'm good"

Entering the storage room, Ye Meng was surprised by the massive number of things that were here.

"How did you store everything so perfectly?" shocked by what he saw, Xin Yang couldn't help but ask.

"Well, the credit goes to Bai Lihua, she along with those servants organized everything" Everything is stored in separate places, from Techniques, Herbs, weapons, so on.

But the way its placed makes one amazed. "And where's she now?" Asked the amused Xin Yang.

"Sleeping, she needs some rest" smiled Ye Meng as he replied.

"Alright, I'll go out and change our location" Xin Yang started to move out.

"Be careful" said the nonchalant Ye Meng.

Going outside and sensing that no one is around, Xin Yang using his new understanding of Divine Void Steps, he instantly appeared next to a new city, this city's name is Divine Cedar, which according to Ye Meng, is one of the strongest cities of the True Pine Empire, aside from the capital.

He of course wouldn't enter the city just yet, even though his appearance changed back, he wouldn't take any risks of endangering himself.

Going back inside, Xin Yang decided to inspect something that piqued his interest.

The Emblem, Xin Yang went back into the storage room to figure out what this thing is, flipping it around and trying various things with it, but no use, it doesn't do anything except it being hard to handle because of the pressure.

The pressure isn't all that powerful, but it just makes it a bit hard for him to move about.

Resorting to the last move, inserting his spiritual qi inside, a burst of pure dark red aura popped out of the emblem, Xin Yang of course wouldn't be stupid and hold it, he threw it to the ground and stood there waiting for something else to happen.

A what seems like a wisp came out of the emblem, and started floating to a certain area, Xin Yang didn't interfere, he's a curious person by nature.

The wisp floated and floated until it reached to... the golden ring, shocked Xin Yang already figured out what that wisp is, nothing but the soul of someone, and the reason it's going into the golden ring is only because there's a body inside.

After making his conjecture, the body that was inside popped out of the ring.

Still standing there, Xin Yang glanced at both the golden ring and the emblem, after losing what was supporting them, both the items crumbled.

"How much time does it need for a ring made from spiritual crystal to crumble" frowning, Xin Yang Taking the body and walking towards one of the rooms, and dropped it on the bed.

The only reason he's not afraid of this... whatever, is because it doesn't have any qi whatsoever.

Sitting next to the bed, Xin Yang decided to stay here and cultivate, in case it woke up and did something.

A couple of hours later, the person woke up, looking around him confused, hearing movement, Xin Yang stopped his cultivation session and just waited there until this person processed his surroundings.

"W-where the hell am I?" the person said.

"My house, or palace to be exact" replied Xin Yang with a poker face.

"And what am I doing here?" frowned the person as he said

"Dunno"

"...."

Silence...

Until Xin Yang explained to him how he got here, leaving some other unnecessary things.

"So, the Soulless Arts did work... sigh" sad for some reason, the person introduced himself.

"My name is Yu Yong, or better known as Heavenless True Asura" as Yu Yong introduced himself and was waiting for Xin Yang to either fear him or start prostrating.

"Ok" Xin Yang wasn't bothered by the name, he could guess what this Yu Yong person is, probably a supreme expert from long ago, but buddy that was in your time, not mine.

"Ye Meng!!" calling Ye Meng, the all-knowing sage, to explain what the hell is this young man trying to say.

"What...who the hell is that?" before Ye Meng even had time to ask what Xin Yang wanted, he was surprised that Xin Yang invited someone inside without telling them.

As if reading his mind Xin Yang said "I didn't bring him inside, he was already here" recounting the story to Xin Yang and how this person's name is Heavenless whatever, Ye Meng frowned after hearing the full story.

"So, you're the Heavenless True Asura, I've heard stories about you" Said the unamused Ye Meng.

"Since you already know who I am, why are you not trembling in fear?" surprised, Yu Yong inquired.

"Your era was a couple of 100,000 years ago, times have changed, the majority of people don't even know you ever existed, plus you're just a mortal now, even if you have those techniques from ancient eras, the more we advance forward the better the techniques,"

Yea, Ye Meng is very smart, being that he couldn't cultivate in his clan, he resorted to reading books.

"I see, so a long time has passed, huh... everyone I know died for a cause that ultimately didn't do us any good, I have nowhere to go now"

Seeing that his time has come, Xin Yang took the opportunity.

"Come with us, we are still small in number, only 3, and it'd be better if we grow"

"What's your motive?" Yu Yong asked, while looking at the roof with his soulless eyes.

"World domination, in every sense of the word" Smiled Xin Yang as he uttered words that could never be heard from anyone no matter how powerful.

"HAHAHAHA, you've got guts young man, I give you that, fine let us see what you're up to" Laughing with pleasure, the Heavenless True Asura stood up as he shook Xin Yang's hands.
