Kacchan's POV

"No way in hell! Why in the fuck did you use a second quirk on Icyhot?" I demanded. Deku's fight with Icyhot was over and ours was about to start but he is refusing to answer me, I had won against Toshi, not that he put up too much of a fight but to be fair our quirks were a bad match up and even though I didn't use black whip he had trouble fighting back when I, of course, didn't answer any of his questions but he didn't hold it against me, neither of us wanted to lose but one of us had to after all. 

Deku on the other hand had a big flashy fight with Icyhot and he not only used his telekinesis but also his super strength and flamethrower. Well the flamethrower was really just to try and scare him away but that is besides the point. The point is that he used multiple quirks against someone else, something he refuses to do even when we are sparring and I am pissed.

"Kacchan, I had a reason to do it. I promise!" He tried to get me to calm down but I was already stomping my way towards him, with explosions going off at my hands.

"A reason? You must have had a really good fucking reason to do something so fucking stupid!" I raged but he just sidestepped and Midnight and Present Mic gave up trying to get me to calm down and just started the match Instead of lashing out with my explosions I popped my water bottles open and used my quirk to circle the fluid around me making everyone in our classes section of the stands go silent. Now that I think about it, have I used the water side of my quirk in front of them? Except for the bus ride home from being attacked I don't think I have and most of them were under Toshi's quirk when I did that. Those that weren't probably didn't see what was going on or were too distracted by the fact that Deku had lifted the entire bus into the air. I don't think any of them noticed what I was doing at all.

Well this should make for a nice show.

"Kacchan, can't we talk about this?" Deku took a step back and I'm sure that everyone in the stands thought he looked afraid but I know better. I dropped the temperature in my water, letting ice crystals form at the points and I jumped, using one of the spikes to spring off of when he sprinted forward and barely missed knocking me in the gut. One hit, it would only take one hit for him to knock me out of bounds and it would probably make me hurl everything I have eaten all day in the process.

"Don't you fucking dare go easy," I hissed before setting off an explosion behind one of my spikes and sent it spiraling towards him but he dodged easily enough. Whenever my ice shattered too much to use it melted and returned to me and thanks to Icyhot I was able to get just a little more water to mix in as it melted but it wasn't nearly so easy to control the more mine was diluted.

"Kacchan, I think you're overreacting a bit," he continued to try and talk me down but I'm too pissed to care.

"You better use it all, because I am," I snarled at him and his eyes widened in shock.

"Kacchan, we're only supposed-" I sent several more icy shards his way cutting him off before I used two of my water shards to stand on and bring myself into the air, something I've never done in front of him and he was shocked to see me floating in the air.

"It's not going to be easy!" I snapped at him before smiling, his face showing the same excited smile that he has when he sees something new or interesting that he wants to analyze. Rules be damned, he is mine now. His muttering went a million miles a second as he processed the new ability that I was showcasing and when he figured out how I was doing it he laughed out loud. His quirks went off until he was using at least the same ones as when he fought Icyhot but I'm not some extra that needs protecting!

The stage was getting destroyed thanks to my explosions and Deku using OFA but it wasn't until Deku started melting all of Icyhot's ice that things started getting really difficult. I can't separate my water from too much more water. A little sure but not a lot and he is now surrounding himself in excess water. My quirk got weaker the longer we fought until I had to all but give up and I only had my explosions left.

"I SAID, IT'S NOT THAT EASY!" I screamed, setting off multiple explosions that he had to dodge but he still wasn't fighting as hard as he was with Icyhot and it was pissing me off more and more. I pushed myself and now that I can't pinpoint the water side of my quirk I decided I should be able to flood him at least. Maybe literally?

I sent a wave of energy through the water and after a while of dodging and parrying Deku I was able to lift up enough water that it looked like we were at the beach and a wave was rolling in, straight for his head. He looked behind him when he saw a shadow and I saw his eyes widen in surprise but he had nowhere he could go so without any other options left he took in a deep breath and roared his flamethrower until he was able to break through. He took a step back to get his balance and to launch another attack when Midnight's voice rang out through the air.

"Yagi, Izuku has stepped out of bounds, leaving Yagi, Katsuki the winner of this year's first years sports festival!" She called out and Deku and I both froze and looked down and sure enough Deku had one foot out of bounds.

"Damn it Deku! We get one chance to let loose and you step out of bounds? Are you fucking kidding me?" I screamed, stomping over and Deku just chuckled nervously, letting me shake him by his shoulders because damn it all. I should have lost! Deku easily overpowered me and he had more than enough stamina to actually knock me down but all because he forgot where he was and he took a step back he lost? Un-fucking-believable!

"I'm sorry Kacchan!" He whined and the video of his opening speech was played on the big screen.

"Yagi will win. The real question is, who will come in after us?" Deku's face smiled at the camera as the other classes booed him but here we are. First, second and third place all went to a Yagi, fourth place went to Icyhot and fifth actually went to Glasses. I forgot that he did pretty good during our first year but where in the fuck is he now?

And why do I feel like I'm forgetting something?
