"How are you back so early?! , miss Olivia said you were supposed to be under glucose treatment for the whole night! " Nev shut the door behind me, carefully closing into my tightly spaced exceptionally untidy room because of the morning rush!

"I got... Discharged... "

I spoke out which I wasn't with an involuntary smile in a hinch of innocence and fibbing at ease,

But,

"...how pale you look right now tells exactly, how you got 'discharged before time'..." She commented failing any of my fibbing attempts,

"Anyway, What's on the menu?!"I asked eagerly with my shiny eyes trying to switch the topic, still hanging the thought of the lasagna there in Washington, 1000 miles from here, my mom -dad must have been having it all alone!

I bet it was to roast me like a fried turkey without putting me in hot oil!

But why I should be jealous?!

I'm not constrained to having tasty food here too!

Not lasagna then... Sizzling red Stake, a bowl filled with delightful stew, or perhaps pork cheese?!

Oh, it already filled my mouth with water and my soul with hunger!

However... With a very equivocal grace, Nev finally lowered that yellowish plastic tray, disclosing what left my eyes out of their sockets!

"Um...mashed potato... And something-something?..."

Okay, now I am jealous!

"Is that left outs?!" I declared with a clear abhorrent,

'cause it seems as left out- that way too yellow mashed potatoes almost as if fungi have made its colony over it and that stew-like rusty red solution with carrot or pea as decoration,

It's worst than those prisoners getting on the third-degree crime punishment!

"...It's the only mode of sustenance here...with the tag 'Eat this or nothing at all!' from the dining attendant " rolling her eyes, nev remarked showing a clear sign of protest!

"What about the 3- course 5 stars Motel meal promised on the University website?!"

"Haven't you seen the Subway's hamburger advertisement and the one on the table order?! It's all publicity! what you get is two buns and a cabbage leaf with Mayonnaise between them!"

"I am going to complain Miss Schlaz---(Why do I feel like forgetting something?!) Shit! I forget to get my timetable signed and submitted to her by 10 pm Greenwich time!" it was the moment of realizationtion as I held my head into my hand

"10 pm?! that's an absurd time for submission but still, it's 3 hours to the deadline..."

"Greenwich time zone, silly! The deadline was 5 pm according to our time zone! And..."

Some words that were earlier said my me only retrieved in my memory,

'if I ever get late again, you should withdraw my name from your custodian record...'

I held my fist tightly and threw it in the air with my full potential, cursing my self-

Shit! Do I have to give such a statement only at that moment when all things turn wrong?!

"Nev! I'm so dead!" and fall like a corpse on my mattress!

*Growl!!* my stomach growls like a wild beast!

"You will be dead sooner if you keep up with this fast of yours!"

And she wasn't wrong either,

I can't wait any longer or else my stomach will eat me instead...but the food...

"Ugh...Bring it on..." I finally pulled the tray out of her hand,

And I swear I ate it as my last meal,

Salty food like no other but who cared not me!

It was even better than any food I ever had!

"Good night! Don't waste all of your ATP overthinking! " "Shush and Good night!" I smiled in devilish celibacy gazing at Nev who was trying to lecture me like Ivy, waving my hand in a beam so dark yet developed over my lips, I bet her farewell and she left the room with the tray she bought which was left empty, when I eventually locked my door, having my room to myself!

Finally some peace to my ears!

And some food in my belly!

But, "Ugh... What a discomfort! " I looked criticizing over the pristine white bandage nurse Danny did over my wound (from my own mistake) with so much effort... However, sorry nurse Danny!

I opened the knot that was tied onto from between my middle fingers and index finger, and drew out whole white strip, although surely it wasn't painful until,

"Ugh! Ah..."

Until, The time was to remove the least cotton which was loaded with some adhesive glue like cream that somehow stayed stuck to my injury! Like ticks onto animal skin!

"So...now what? " I grabbed out my android,

And the only forte I knew, I connected to call, as I hung it to my ear and instantly I was reached-

"Hey, Juana...Is it already raining in Ohio?! "

Those familiar Blood-red amber eyes sparked in the gloaming, glanced at me wailing-

"BLOOD!!"

"...I have been a predator for some time!"

Like a snap of a finger,

"Hn?! Hn?!" grasping for air, I opened my eyes in the hostel room with my alarm buzzing-

*5 am*

Quivered I searched for my android,

God, I didn't know when I fell asleep but now, my whole body fell into a series of resonant pangs,

As if I was breaking rocks for the entire night!

And, evidently was found lying on the ground on its face, surprisingly without any visible cracks!

However, my concern wasn't there, the only thing was to shut this buzzer!

Without reflection, I swiped the red button to the left or right I don't know, but it shut that was a victory!

But... Was it just a coincidence?!

Lying in a dark yet peaceful room with birds chirping outside and rumble of footsteps and chattering from the hall on another side, and through that loosely bound window of which cold air was coming in,

I couldn't help but introspect this conspiracy theory which has awakened my soul-

That dream- those eyes!

I remember those eyes precisely,

Same amber eyes-Cold and gorgeous,

From that 12 years old!

Yeah, I have never met him, and he publically (in the library even in between the two of us) said, he didn't know me, but, then-

He saved me, got injured because of me!

Why would he do something like that?!

Although, he has been rude, even torturing my wound (Now which is bandaged)...

But, if he truly was that vampire, he must have killed me already, isn't he?!

But, he keeps on threatening me like ' I hold the most treasured drink to a vampire flowing in my vein' because that's no flirting in the human dictionary!

And the way he looks at me he surely hates me but... Something about him always pulls me closer to him...his looks, the way he talks, his eyes even though I fear them but still I treasure them, and then his icy cold touch...

Come on Will, it's been 12 years, how can you be so sure it was him only?!

I am just joining two different puzzles to each other!

But, why couldn't I shake this theory off?!

I pressed my head into my pillow,

But then abruptly,

*knock knock*

Someone knocked gently, making me shrink into my bed- well, my last day experience of mine has been the best example, when an unknown girl wakes you up in the morning, almost breaking your door, only to jeopardize you!

Okay, okay, I'm not blaming Gabriel here! now gabby and I have passed that cat-cat fight since last night but I can't take the risk yet!

*Knock knock*

"Coming!" I replied, stepping on the cold floor,

I'm guessing which lover of Viber is here to rug me this time,

Pause!

How can I forget?!

I wrapped the muffler which was lying lifeless in the corner of the bed-

The cat must stay in the bag!

Slowly, I pace to the door, and with a lot of caution, I unlocked the door with the key that hung in the keyhole, pulling the door and taking a glimpse out of the edge, for any possible sign of the knocker-

"Did you miss me, girlfriend?!"
