The Manager's Secretary
After the conversation with the CEO, Seb was delighted. In the next day, he then had a caucus with the HR and transfered to the vacant Manager's office. Adjacent to his table was his wife's table, Karla as Arzelene, the new secretary.
" Seb, am just curious about your leave papers, is it not a joke? Hmm, I mean, you stated there " just got married." We should have attended your wedding rite, wrap some gifts or at least, we can compute you for more leave credits for honeymoon period, things like that." Princess, the HR officer smiled.
" Haha, so kind of you Cess, thank you but its okay. We had already spent a lot of time together. One day you'll find her out. We just made our marriage, a little private ." Seb explained.
" Your new secretary looks gorgeous, beautiful but serious. She looks very attractive. Likewise, who's that look-a-like you guy? Hmm, his office seems to be a new macho studio now, haha perhaps, you should know that most of the lady staff are eyeing on him. Careful with your younger cousin." Cess teased him.
"Ah, haha! that lady is just a friend she's the wife of that handsome guy in the new macho studio." Seb affirmed.
" Really? hmm, now the ladies behind would just suffer looking at him haha! the beautiful wife - Arzelene is around." Then she hand in to Seb his appointment paper and smilingly left.
He picked out Karla out of the office and dropped by to Nomin's place then the three proceeded to the company canteen for lunch. People were curious about them since they get along well in trio. They saw her distributing forks and spoons for the two and the way they treat one another and its just their first time seeing Seb as happy as that.
" Seb, may I join your lunch." Nestor calmly approached them.
" Yes, sure." Seb replied.
" I've heard your mother died days ago. I got a call from your dad an hour ago, a request of fund transfer from the previous stock shares from the accounting office. He requested me to facilitate, how are you? Condolence." Nestor tapped Seb's shoulder.
" Thanks." Seb replied.
" But...I just wanted to confirm about the rumor that you just got married?" Nestor curiously asked.
" Yes. I just got married. I just made it a little private." He smiled to him showing their eight year ago wedding ring.
Karla bowed her head and smiled while she kept her finger, wearing the same ring as Seb. Nomin smiled and cut off the topic.
" That's great, let's enjoy our lunch now." Nomin shared the food to Nestor and raised the four seasons bottle to everyone.
" Thanks Nomin, and congratulations Seb for remarrying and for the promotion, looking forward for more fruitful years in your career!" And so they all had a bottle toast.
There had been a lot of paperworks within a day and they all went home so tired. They were still at the gate when Seb signaled them not to proceed inside yet, he sensed that there was a dark soul inside and ghouls. Nomin turned on the lights around while holding tight the hand of Karla. When Seb opened the main door, they saw a demon sitting on a couch that seems waiting for them.
" Welcome! haha! I'm Gono, the messenger of the dark shadows. I was sent here by Demido to ask if who among you is Sebastian. He said there is no need to have war against Banli's angels, it's just that the two of you were registered as angels in heaven and ironically were both Sebastian on earth, haha! amazing. I admit I am already a legend in hell but its my first time to hear this. Demido right now is trying to fully recover from his human body's wound you both has done. So, which one is Sebastian?"
" I'll count one to three. If you will not get out in peace, I'll send you to hell leaving your ashes on earth. One...two..." Seb angrily threatened the messenger and he was gone.
Karla's eyes were covered by Nomin's hand while she was praying silently. When Seb reassured that no ghouls stayed around, he moved closer and kept her closed on his chest, with his left hand he was holding the shoulder of Nomin.
" I'm jealous again because you can hold her that tight as often as you want." Nomin said by just looking at Seb.
" Sshhh...don't overthink things. There are difficult situations like this." Seb briefly explained him in their thoughts.
" No worries bro, I'm just kidding. I know you are faithful, I can feel that." Nomin calmly thought.
After dinner, Seb was still at the receiving area, pondering while his body leaned on the couch, till his eyes became droopy and fell asleep. He dreamt of her in so many memories and flooding in his mind like a stream of water. He suddenly woke up.
" I saw her in different time and space, with different outfit and grace. I saw Seb was also with her, but I was with them then the transition goes upon seeing myself too, along with them. So who was that one looking at us? It wasn't just a dream, it was a connection and a message.
A little while, Nomin got out and sat beside him, still sleepy. Seb smiled and asked.
" Why can't sleep ha?"
" She fell on my foam while asleep and made me a pillow." Nomin seriously replied.
" Aha! that's why! but you need to go back and guard beside her. Don't worry, she's sleeping anyway haha! Don't forget, we have just visited by one of the dark shadows Gono, we have to protect her especially right now that they're curious about us for protecting two humans." Godem in Seb tapped his shoulder.
" Go back, stay with her. You can only do it for us. I have this human body so attached to her. Hmm...what's up now?" Seb laughed while looking at his problematic face.
" She doesn't make me a pillow when she's awake only when asleep. It's unfair. She's on my arm, adjacent to my armpit, facing on my face while sleeping and the worst is, she wrapped her tiny hand around my waist and too closed on me and it gave me goosebumps. Seriously! Then again I imagined her crying so hard while I was away in a dusty place, the hunger, thirst, the limbo, the hell where Banli might impatiently detain me, haha, and I ended up removing her soft body slowly away from me. Then I curl like a popcorn slowly standing of pity looking at her. Its how my story goes tonight. Huh! It wasn't really easy for Adam those times, but Banli is the worst punisher, I tell you." He smiled.
