I would be lying if I said that I wasn't relieved that someone was kind enough to have come to my aid. I worn out, tired and cold and just wanted to at least have something to eat.

I was yet to find out who the kind stranger was but before I did his voice sounded familiar like I had heard before.

"I'm sorry, but I don't believe that you have any right to treat this lady in this manner, she hasn't done anything wrong and you and I can both can quite clearly see she is blind and that her dog is a guide dog, a service dog."

Hearing the words that were coming out of this man's mouth made my eyes water. He didn't have to go out of his way to help me or say anything to the worker but did so anyway.

I had now been alone for so long without anyone that receiving help and someone showing me kindness was almost starting to become alien to me.

Without another word, I listened as the member of staff walked away for me to be left with the person I was yet to meet officially.

"Are you alright? I saw and heard what was happening and I want to stop her."

For the first time in a long time, I started to feel safe as if I knew that I would no longer be alone in the world and it felt like a huge weight had been lifted off of my shoulders.

"I am thank you. Thanks for helping me."

Though what happened next I didn't expect. It was almost like he could see right through me as if he knew something was wrong.

"Are you sure? You look upset it's alright, I won't hurt you I just want to help you. I'm Ryan."

Hearing his gentle voice and kind words helped me calm down and I knew that I could trust him.

"Okay, and thank you again. I'm Kalani."

He offered me the spare seat at his table but I was a little hesitant for a moment before accepting the offer.

"I apologize if I'm being too forward but, It seems to me like you have been on your own for some amount of time."

I nodded only to confirm his suspicions as he and Jax guided me over to his table, I listened as he took a seat next to me and all was silent for a moment until I plucked up the courage to speak again.

"You're right about that... I have been alone for so long now, around six months to be exact that I started to forget what It was like to be able to talk to someone be shown kindness and to know that at least someone will care about me."

I went on to explain everything that had happened in the last six months from the day of my accident to what happened with my parents and having to live on the street and hostels while trying to earn a living playing my violin.

When I had finished I hadn't realised I was upset until a stray tear fell down my face and I felt Ryan take my hand on his giving me some comfort.

"I'm sorry you've been through that."

I could tell by the sound of his voice he was disheartened by what I had told him.

"It's alright, it's not your fault. I'm slowly healing and learning to love my self again and that's all that matters right now."

We talked for a while getting to know each other as I soon ended up realizing that I was talking to Ryan from the YouTube channel twin paranormal.

"I'm sorry, I've only just put it all together. I thought it might have been you as I somehow knew your voice from somewhere and now I know because I used to watch yourself and your brother all the time up until the accident."

Upon hearing my confession I ended up making Ryan chuckle which in turn made me do the same.

"It's alright don't worry about it, but I'm glad you have enjoyed it."

He offered to get me some food and something to drink but I politely declined not wanting him to waste his money on me, though that was quickly a losing battle as he insisted especially when my stomach rumbled giving it away.

After spending some time with Ryan in the café little did I anticipate my life would drastically change for the better within the coming days and weeks.
