"Who is this kid? Henry thought to himself. How can he break the barrier without even batting an eye?"

Gor didn't pay any mind to the dumbfounded knight and proceeded to help The Princess who was now free.

"What do we do now", Henry asked?

"We return" Gor said.

"Not without Ija" Princess Lena replied.

"I was asked to bring you back immediately princess".

"And I'll return with you once Ija has returned" She stubbornly replied

"Lady Ija can return on her own, if the princess refuses to leave now, I'll have to take you by force" Gor said.

"The Princess says she'll return after Lady Ija comes back, so stand down boy" Henry said.

"It seems you both are forgetting something". Gor said causing Henry and Lena to stare at each other.

"And what might that be?" the princess asked.

"I don't answer to either of you" Gor said.

Tension arose between Gor and Henry, it seemed as if they were about to fight.

Gor was about to use excessive force and Henry wouldn't allow him take the princess, unless she was willing to go with him.

"Guys there's no need to get hostile" Princess Lena said. "Look Ija is already coming".

Gor looked in the distance and saw a woman being helped by two kids, approaching their Location. Princess Lena ran towards Ija and was shocked at what she saw.

"What happened? Who did this to you?" Princess Lena said, her voice laced with worry immediately she saw Ija's pitiful shape.

"Calm down princess, I'm fine". Ija said.

"Fine? You're missing an arm, or is it just my eyes that seeing this," the princess said.

"Put her down let me treat her wounds,"

"I'm fine Princess. We have to return to the Capital" Ija said as she was let down by the kids helping her

"And you". The princess pointed at Thia.

"What are you doing here?" She asked

"She was the one that help me rescue you" Ija immediately replied.

"Without her, I probably won't be able to save you" Ija said.

"Oh, Thanks Thia" princess Lena said.

Thia couldn't say anything and looked away in shame. She knew Ija was lying to protect her and her friends. But still, she felt the shame of taking credit for something she didn't deserve.

"You, Thena said Pointing at Gor. You look familiar".

Gor had been trying to hide his face ever since he saw Thena and Thia, he didn't want them to see him, especially Thia, but it seems his plan failed.

"You, you're, you're… That boy from Miaan" Thia said. Saying where she recognized Gor From.

"Oh yes, the boy with the mask" Thena immediately said.

This was news to Ija, the princess and Henry.

They remembered the incident at Miaan very well. One of the unsolved puzzle was a young boy with a mask that battled Larry in his hide out. They were unable to find the boy even after the whole investigation. They now understood why they didn't. After all, His mom investigated the case, she must have done something after she recognized her son.

"So you're that boy" Ija said in surprise.

"What were you doing in Miaan?" Princess Lena asked

"Nothing you should concern yourself with your highness. And if you really want to know, feel free to ask my father about it" Gor said.

He knew there was no getting out of this, so, he mentioned the one man nobody wanted to deal with.

"You committed a crime in Miaan". Ija stated

"Four people died because of you Ija said, should I take it up with your father too?" Ija asked.

"Yes, I heard." Gor said.

"It's quite unfortunate four people died from my carelessness. Gor said regrettably, but if I didn't do what I did, more would have died" Gor replied.

"That's a lie. If you had mind your business, I would have found Larry. I was on my way to his location when you destroyed the dance floor with your attack" Ija said

Gor thought of what is mother had told him days ago and realize she was lying. Why did she do that he thought.

"So, are you going to arrest me?" Gor asked.

Ija knew there was no way the accusation against Gor would stick.

One, he was still a kid so his father would probably be asked to take responsibility. Two, there was no evidence or witness and even if there was, his mother would have taken care of it. And finally Gor was a Kindel. No one messes with a legacy family like the Kindels.

"I'm not going to arrest you, Ija said. What is the use of that? For now I can't ask you to take responsibility since you're still a kid.

"But I assure you someone will" Princess Lena added with a stern voice.

Gor didn't know how to feel in this situation, he just knew he would not be able to forgive himself easily.

"So, how did you guys meet" The princess asked Thia.

"Oh he came to our camp. We met there" Thena immediately replied, not going into the details.

Gor and Thia stared at each other momentarily, they couldn't explain it, but there was a certain pull both of them felt towards each other. It was a feeling of familiarity. As if they both shared an indescribable bond.

Ija noticed their stares and wondered if Gor was really another one of the three apocalypse

In the Far distance, two men stood side by side staring at the dark clouds in the night.

One of them was a man named Ashlark, the leader of a small mercenary group under the horseman of war. The other was a mysterious man wearing a demon mask. The man had not given Ashlark a name but only said he had come instead of the person he served, and gave Ashlark a lot of gold to carry out an assignment.

"Are your men ready, Ashlark?" One of the men asked

"Yes. All five hundred of them".

"But, why did you ask me to bring this many men to just deal with a bunch of kids?" Ashlark asked

"Because that's exactly the exact amount of men you'll need for your mission. The man in mask replied

Ashlark stared at the man and wanted nothing more than to unmask him. The man had hired five hundred man to kill some kids, and as if that wasn't weird enough he had given them a location and the number of targets they will be facing and even the possible states of the target. When they got there they found three kids one young male, another young female and an injured knight. The mysterious man had made a very strange, but accurate prediction

Everything was just like the man had predicted, it was as if he brought his imagination into reality.

"What are you waiting for Ashlark, gather your men. And leave no survivors".

Ashlark was of course just a mercenary for hire, and just like most Mercenaries, he was all about the money, no questions needed to be asked. As long as he's paid generously, He was prepared to do the Job.

Ashlark turned to his men and gave an order.

"Let's get to work men, the earlier we kill the targets the earlier you fool get to go home and drown yourselves in as many drinks as you want".

Hundreds of them suddenly began to move toward the direction of Ija and the others,
