Shocking experience

"We went ahead into the hideout proceeding carefully so we won't alert the enemy. We traveled deep into the cave and following a trail of lights crystals they must have kept there to light their way. After traveling for a while deep into the Cave we got to a certain space, it was as of we had entered a complete different place, we don't know how they did it but the room was completely white, including the floor all coated with crystals, making it really hard. There were two glasses on either side of the room and a small table in the middle. It looked like some lab. We were surprised as to how much work was put into and not only that it didn't seem like something that had been there for a short while either. We investigated for a while which led us to find a secret door behind the large table. We entered through the door and found another room like the previous one this time only bigger, no roof, there was no table and a Ralyeti was on the floor."

"A Ralyeti? What is that kind of beast doing in the wilderness?" Jo asked.

"They must have brought it down here, we don't know but with this at least we know we are probably dealing with a group from Eru, if not with the Eru government themselves". Commander Lara said.

Jo only sighed and signaled for Jane to continue.

"The Ralyeti was quite big, probably an elder, but it was still a ferocious beast. We examined it and noticed it was still alive. We tried not to wake it but it somehow woke up on its own, we thought it would attack but what happened next was what surprised us. The beast stood up and, it stared at us, instead of attacking it seemed as if it was trying to push us away from it, It kept on mumbling something but we could not understand it, we thought it was trying to kill us and foolishly, we attack..." it Jane replied and at this point her voice became shaky.

"As we were facing the beast we heard the flapping of wings coming from above followed by a large roar. We all looked up and the Ralyeti gave out one last roar chasing us away so it could buy us some time, but not even an elder ferocious beast could face a red Scaled wyvern. Within few seconds the beasts killed the Ralyeti and blocked our escape route, preventing us from escaping. Although we all knew we were looking at a strong magic beast, this one looked like a human being, or half a human. The red Scales were covered in blood and it would make this growling sound like it was in pain. It also stood on two feet like a person. It stood Nine feet tall with large wing coming from its back.

We didn't stand a chance.

We tried calling for help but they seemed to be dealing with an attack"

"Captain Leah knew this and took made the tough call, she told us to stay out of the fight and fought it on her own, even though she knew she couldn't kill it she fought any ways, I watched the fight and even though I've been a soldier for two years I've never seen a fight like this one before. She was losing but the beast was kept on its toes too. We were only able to escape because of her. She Ordered us to help the others outside and escape to report how things were. We left her and that was the last time we saw her. We don't know whether she's dead or alive." Jane concluded.

Jo held his chin as he took in everything he just heard.

" A Ralyeti from the snow mountains, a wyvern one of the mighty magical beasts. Relatives of dragons, those were both top of the food chain in the beast heirarchy" He said.

"But I believe that's not all commander, I'm I right?" Jo asked.

"Yes captain. Like I said earlier, magical beasts don't disturb humans unless we disturb them. There have been various magical beast sighting close to the fort recently and I believe it probably due to the attacks on their kind. This wilderness is large. It's a good thing it seperates us from Inaria, but, If the beasts are getting closer to the Castle because of what happened, then they are probably entering into Inaria too to investigate and that can't be good for anyone. The dragon born cannot be allowed to feel like humans are planning on invading their kingdom, a war against them at this time won't do is any good."

"So what's the mission Major" Jo asked.

"The mission is simple capture, this is not a justice for our comrades mission, This is a border territory and our movements needs to be as soft as possible, but given what we are dealing with, I want you and your team put and end to every form of hunting of magical beasts here. We can't have the dragon knights here, we know if they do and they in anyway sight the fort, they would destroy and see it as an act of war, causing chaos."

"Are you sure the dragon born will come and investigate?" Jo asked.

"We are, aren't we? So, there is no assurance they won't come and investigate a disturbance in their border, and unlike us, they have an understanding with magical beast."
