Jo left the Commanders office he left and went beck to his room, after the briefing. He knew things would begin to get hectic for him and his men, but for now he would let them rest and have their fun. He decided he would brief them of the mission the next day after they had rested for the day.

"Oh right, my ferocious beasts, let's visit the kitchen and see if they had finish making it". Jo thought.

The next day Jo woke up very early in the morning, he took his morning Jog, and was joined by his team. Ever since he became captain five months ago, he and his team had gone for One major mission, and two other minor missions, this would be their second big mission and he hoped this would also go well, Although he had his reservations about this current mission, since it was definitely more dangerous, he would still completely the task given to him. After their morning routine and breakfast. Jo gathered his men for a mission brief.

Once everyone had gathered Jo, addressed them.

"Buckle up people, it seems we'll be going on our first tour of the wilderness today" Jo said causing most of his men to drop their excited faces.

"But we just got here" one of them complained.

"Yea, this is not a resort, if you really thought we came here to flex and chill the you need to have your head checked, now Lieutenant Dius here will brife us about the mission" Jo said pointing at Jane.

Jane looked around the room seeing some familiar faces before locking eyes with the most despicable person she had seen for the entire year, he smiled at her but it made her more pissed and she looked away.

Jane narrated the story of how her unit was almost wiped out when they came across a place that allegedly experimented on magical beasts, she narrated the part of their Captain sacrifice and the part where they have further tried to investigate the case, but it seems like everything had seemed to have died down until the magical beast were seen close to the fort again which probably meant, things were still going on without their knowledge.

"For now our scouts are checking the surrounding every day, we've increased the scouting party to a five man team and so we'll know if there's any incoming attack. Our mission is to travel deep into the wilderness to further investigate the disappearances and find out who are behind it, capture and destroy their operation. Also apart from, the magical beast and those capturing them, there are also chances of running into the dragon born so let's put that in mind". Jane said.

Some of them began to mummur, dragon born had not been sighted for a long time. Most of them bare knew how one looked like.

"Have you seen them before?" an officer asked another Officer who was a bit older than the rest.

"No, I was just five when the war started, I never saw any dragonborn".

"Are they that dangerous?" the officer asked.

"Yes they are," commander Lara replied from the entrance. She was immediately followed by her assistant.

"I know I'm not supposed to bring down your moral in any way but, I want you to be prepared. I've heard various things about this unit and I have no doubt you will be able to handle things, but I won't belittle the strength of the dragonborn either". Commander Lara explained

"They are stronger and faster than most humans, their body have scales although they vary in strength, the stronger the dragonborn, the harder their skin scales and the harder they are to kill, they are also resistant to fire, it only makes them stronger".

"How do we know if a dragonborn is strong or not?" The officer asked again.

"There are two ways, one is the strongest dragon born can contract with any beasts, the weak ones can only control and contract with a few wild beast while some with ferocious beasts, but, the strongest ones can also contract with magical beasts, so, if you see a dragonborn controlling a magical beast, run or fight for your life. Don't worry, only few dragonborn can do this, Even during the war only two dragonborn could do this and one died in the war." She added. "The second way is the Scales flow. As you know the harder their scales the stronger they are, the strongest dragonborn have Constant scale flows on their skin, their dragon scales become visible for a moment. The more this occurs, the stronger they are.

"How frequently do they have a scale flow?" Jo asked curiously.

"Some every hour, some every two hours, but there was one that had a scale flow every five minutes during the war, I witnessed the four way fight briefly during the battle of Drazdan, and saw Ed's scales coming out every five minutes". Most of them widened their eyes, when she spoke.

"You mean you witnessed the legendary battle between those four." Jo asked.

"Yes, I was a runner during the war, I was on one of my runs when I saw the battle." Commander Lara replied

"I heard it was the most epic battle ever, was it true?". One officer asked with beaming eyes.

"I don't know of epic battles, but when I saw those four facing each other, I knew I had to get as far way from there as fast as possible". The commander replied.

There was silence in the hall for a few second before Commander Lara continued.

"Coming back to the mission, we have to make sure we find the culprits before the dragonborns do, if they find they find them first, the repercussions could be devastating. Is that understood?"

"Yes Commander" they all replied.

"Now if you have any other question..." Some of them raised their hands

"Is it regarding the mission?" Lara asked making most of them put down their hands.

Few minutes after the briefing, Jo and his team had began to prepare for their mission. Going into the wilderness was going to be tough, but given the small lead they had it was something they had to do.

"First we'll go to the place where they had discovered that lab. Even though it will be destroyed now, who knows what we will find" Jane said to Jo and his Lieutenants.

"Remind me why she's following us again?" Mickey asked.

"She's our guide" Jo replied

"Do you have a problem with me coming?" Jane asked.

"Not if you don't slow us down, but with those chicken legs I don't see how you won't". Mickey said.

"You really are an annoying prick aren't you?" Jane said

Mickey Ignored her and walked away.

"We'll meet outside in two hours make sure you all prepare accordingly" Jo said.

"Yes Captain" they all replied
