After their quick Spar, Queen Vivian helped Thia up. The young child could still not believe she had the rare opportunity to train with someone like the Queen. At first, when Ija had mentioned the royal family, she thought they were a bunch of entitled people, that could barely lift themselves, talkless of a weapon. But her whole thought had been proven wrong from the very first time she met the Queen. Their first encounter was a bit creepy, but it was still far from what she had thought it would be like. Even though Thia was supposed to keep an eye on Ija and earn her trust, she didn't really care about that now. The only thing she was interested in right now was learning as much as she could from a true master of battle, no offense to her previous teachers but, Compared to Queen Vivian, Zinesh and Ryker were like babies.

After Thia got up the Queen was about to speak but the child spoke first.

"What did I do wrong? Thia asked.

Although we used the same form of battle, yours was definitely more polished than mine. How long have you been using the dancing spear form?" Thia said bombarding Queen Vivian

"One at a time child" Queen Vivian said patting Thia's head.

"The first thing is that you're not really doing anything, wrong. It's already a miracle that you can use the dancing spear form. I might not be a master at it, but I do know this much. It wasn't designed for children". Queen Vivian said.

"You're not a Master? Your form was way better than my uncle's" Thia replied

"True, but the dancing spear is way more complicated and better than even the one I used, and although my form was better than yours, your foundation in using the form is still better than mine. Although mine looks like a huge mansion, yours is still like an uncompleted fort. Although it's still incomplete, it's still has the makings of a grand fort. And no mansion could be compared to a fort. They are just two different things".

"So I might surpass you in the future?" Thia asked with shining eyes

"Not might, you definitely will Queen Vivian replied. It's the dream of every true Master to have students that will surpass them".

"As for what you lack, it's balance.

Like I said earlier, the dancing spear was not designed for children. Do you know who founded the dancing spear?" Queen Vivian asked and Thia shook her head in response.

"Well, there were many heroes and heroines during the war twenty years ago, the most notable ones being Bale, Jai, Hazel and Red. But, there were others like the old dog Faruok, Zeal Kindel, Dante the red wolf, and The late Haniska the dragonborn, She was the one that used the dancing spear. Queen Vivian said and Thia widened her eyes in shock. She never knew the dancing spear was invented by a dragonborn. While Thia was showing her surprise, the Queen continued.

"So you see, it not really you, it's your body. The dancing spear was not made to putting humans into consideration, it was made by dragonborn and for dragonborns."

"So I'm unable to fully use it then? Thia asked.

I never said, that. I just told you the reason why you don't need to beat yourself down for not drawing it's full potential yet. You already have a solid foundation. Now what you need are the right tools to build on that foundation, and out of the things you lack, what you lack the most is balance."

"Your body, needs to always be balanced and even when using the dancing spear, one tiny form of uneveness will cause the form to collapse. Let me show you what I mean."

Queen Vivian stepped back for a bit giving some distance between herself and Thia.

Your first stance, The tip of the spear up and the bottom down. That's correct but the placement of your legs were wrong.

You placed your right leg bent towards your left. But a dance doesn't being that way. Everything has to be even, so instead you place both legs down at same level, like a gentle squat. No too big not too small. By doing so you have prepared yourself to face even multiple opponents" The queen explained

Thai looked at the first stance and saw that the slight difference made the Queen look more battle ready than the form she had been used to.

"As expected, Uncle Zinesh taught me a knock off version". Thia smirked as she remembered her uncle

"You can try it now" the Queen said and Thia went ahead to try

In the other end of the capital. A young girl with silver hair could be seen coming down from a carriage. She looked in front of her at the small mansion she was probably going to be leaving in for the next couple of days. "It's huge" Thena said, since she had never seen anything like it before.

"Do people live here?" She asked within herself.

"Welcome to our home Thena A woman said from behind her. You'll be living here from now on the" woman said.

They walked in and were greeted by a butler who had ordered some maids to take the belongings of their masters from them.

"Nathan, this is Thena. She's our adopted help." The woman said.

"Thena This is the House master and Butler, Nathan. If there's anything you need. You can ask him" the woman said

"Yes Lady Diana" Thena replied

She looked at Rex who was standing quietly by Lady Diana's side.

"I wonder what kind of arrangement they have now. Are they also a spy family like Nouri and Naima?" Thena thought

"Get someone to show her the room prepared for her so she can rest" Rex said and Nathan Glanced at one of the maids who quickly picked Thena's things and asked the girl to follow her. Unlike them who were paid and contracted maid. Thena was an adopted help, so she was above them in status. She was more like the child of the Lady of the house.

Thena took one look at Rex before she left and he just gave her a quick nod and she followed the maid.

"I guess I'll know what is going on later" she thought
