THREE CROWN SOUL.

Despite hearing countless tales about him, she couldn't summon the courage to meet his gaze – the prince rumored to wield power over death itself, or perhaps embody it. As his cold, husky voice commanded her removal, fear gripped her, her heart racing. She couldn't fathom why her sister had drawn the attention of such a cruel prince. Determined to shield her sister from harm, even at the cost of her own life, she pleaded desperately, defying the prince's order. Her actions shocked onlookers; challenging the empire's crown prince was unheard of, yet she persisted, seemingly indifferent to her own fate. In a moment of impulsiveness, she grasped his sleeve, pleading for mercy. The prince, Kim Kyong, enraged by her audacity, turned his gaze upon her. Realizing her peril, she withdrew her hand, resigning herself to her fate. Kim Kyong's guards, perceiving her as a threat, readied their weapons. Bracing for the worst, she awaited the fatal blow, only to be met with the unexpected sound of their retreat. As she cautiously opened her eyes, she found the prince kneeling before her, his gaze locking with hers. And with just two words, he sealed her fate.. This book cover isn't mine. Chapter 5: Chaotic.

Chapter 5: Chaotic.

While the Generals were busy indirectly persuading the Crown prince to release his men and lead them to the battle, Kim Hyeon faced them and said. "I'll lead my men to the Eastern Region"

He really doesn't know the reason why these people sees his brother as a more important figure than him. Where ever his brother is, he's invisible.

All the Generals turned to face him when they heard his willingness to the case. He has the Shadow army under his control and they are well known for their good skills, fierceness and unmerciful acts on the battle field.

"I didn't even think of that. Prince Kim Hyeon can lend us his men as well, I'll try to add more forces from my side", General Lee agreed. They've been spending so much time persuading the Crown prince they didn't even notice his twin brother.

The other generals agreed as well.

Emperor Kim Hyun wasn't happy with the fact that he'll be handing over the case to Kim Hyeon but since the generals are into it, it would be better he plays along by handing it over. Moreover he can't forcefully hand it over to his first son.

"You are the crown prince Kim Kyong, you should be willing to participate in this affairs! Do you want the crown to slide to your younger twin brother?!", Emperor Kim Hyun wasn't pleased with his son's attitude at the meeting room at all.

Kim Kyong sat down with his legs crossed as he stared at his father meaningfully. It was obvious he wasn't interested in the case at all.

"You are becoming more irresponsible day by day Kim Kyong!, and your brother is starting to over shadow you in all aspects. If you are not careful, the crown would slip into his hands", Emperor Kim Hyun continue scolding him non stop.

Kim Kyong on the other hand was starting to get tired of the sermon so he stood up and said. "You don't have to attack a lion by confronting him in the face, else you'll get clawed or bitten, I'll take my leave now father."

With that, he left his father's office, leaving the middle aged man speechless. Actually, he didn't understand his son's words fully but with the little he could understand, it seems like his son isn't supporting their decision of attacking the Kongs back.

When Kim Kyong got out of his father's office, he met Kim Hyeon leaning on the side frame of the door with his shoulder. He looked angry and dejected but non of that had an impact on Kim Kyong.

Kim Kyong spared him a glance and started to walk away. He has his business with their father and not him so there's nothing to discuss.

"I challenge you. If you win the fight you'll take the case and if I win.....I'll take the case. Guess it would be even that way", Kim Hyeon said. His words made Kim Kyong stop on his track.

Kim Kyong turned and smirked. "I don't want to have a fight with you Hyeon, and I'm not interested in the case as well but if you are really interested in having a fight with me then who am I to turn down the challenge."

And just like wild fire, the news spread round the entire palace that the twin prince are going to be having a sword fight against each other in the evening.

Such things like this only happens once in a while which is why everyone is so excited to see who the strongest is amongst the two. But amongst all, one person wasn't happy with the challenge, Queen Kim Byun.

"Must this always happen everytime they have a slight argument?, can't they resolve things the way normal brothers do?", Kim Byun was worried, knowing fully well that the two would hurt each other in the challenge.

"Won't you do anything to stop this challenge Hyun?, You know fully well that this won't end well and everywhere would end up being chaotic."

"What do you expect me to do?, you don't expect me to stop the challenge?. Let them prove themselves worthy, I don't have a say." He replied without even looking at her as he was focused on the work he was doing.

Kim Byun's frown deepened seeing his reaction. "At least you can do something, I don't want anything to happen to my son's, what if they really end up killing each other...

"Byun, you think way too much, they can't kill each other so relax, you should go and get ready to watch the challenge on the field cause it would be quite grand", When Kim Byun heard him she hissed and left his office feeling dissatisfied. There was once a time he would do whatever it takes to please her but time does change. Doesn't it?

Chin Ari couldn't help but grumble when they were packing, Chin Sun wasn't happy as well. They'll be relocating to their uncle's place in the Eastern region since it's closer to the capitals main palace to make it easier for their mother to come home during the weekends.

"Oh mother, it's so stressful packing all this stuffs, you should have told us earlier that we would be moving out today as well", Chin Ari complained.

Chin Bada looked at her daughters who looked unhappy to be leaving, she sighed and said. "It's not my fault as well, I didn't know how you two would react to the news"

"But you've already made your decision by the time you told us. Now I'm going to be leaving my friends behind", Chin Sun complained unhappily. Chin Ari couldn't help but smile at her sister's reason for not wanting to leave. "You'll make more friends where we are going to as well."

"Chin Ari is right, you'll be able to play with your cousins all day long without anyone stopping you and your uncle is a good man, he'll welcome you with open arms", Chin Bada said to ease her daughters sadness.

Chin Ari pouted. "His children are proud and arrogant most especially Chin-Hwa, they'll only see us as local people who don't match up to their standards".

Although, it's only once she met Chin-Hwa, she knew the peacock would still be as proud as ever.

"That's why I have to go so I can make you match up to their standards, so hurry and pack up quick, the carriage will be here soon", Chin Bada said.

"So you've planned everything before informing us, what more is coming?!" Chin Sun couldn't take it anymore.
