Chapter TWO

Lexi's P.O.V

We were only a few steps away from the house where Selene decided to have the little get together party and by the looks of it I could already tell it wasn't a 'small' get together. Why did I even believe it would be?

Just as I was about to chicken out and go back home Selene came running towards us with this excited scream that made me want to be deaf rather than being able to hear.

"You came!!!" She shouted when she finally stopped right in front of us. "Well it didn't seem like I had much of a choice so here I am, happy now?"

"Yep super happy,let's go inside it's awesome."

We went inside and said hay to a few people standing around talking about life and stuff when suddenly someone grabs me by my arm and pulls me aside.

"WTF?!!" When I turned around to see who it was Selene was standing there with a huge smile on her face and it was that moment when I got super annoyed by the little sister of my forever lasting crush, although she was also my best friend.

"I'm sorry, okayy not really. But we have to talk!"

"What could be so important that you had to scare the living shit out of me?"

"Well Mike of course."

"Omg not again we already talked about this and I already told you that I'm gonna move on with my life."

"Talked about what exactly and what do you wanne move on from so badly that you don't even wanne talk about it to your best friend?" Mike suddenly asked standing behind Selene. Like where the fuck did he come from.

"Uhmm..." Selene started but I interrupted before she could give away any details. "Nothing that really concerns you but if you must know I wasn't accepted into my dream college so I had to settle for second best." That wasn't a lie though just not the truth to what we were talking about. "And I don't really wanne talk about it all the time so I'm guessing you can understand right? "

"Oh yeah totally , I'm so sorry though I hope you still enjoy your college years. " Now he turned to his sister and looked her straigth in the eyes. "And seriously Selene why do you constantly have to bring up the worst parts of someones life?"

"I didn't mean to ughh whatever I'm just gonna go get myself a drink before I say something I might regret later on."

As she walked towards the kitchen I kinda felt bad for allowing that to happen but I wasn't just gonna let him find out that I've been having a crush on him since like forever so I'm really sorry Selene but it's your fault that you brought it up at a place where he could hear us.

After a while of just standing in silence Mike finally decided to go back to partying with his friends and just said "Well see ya later I guess" while walking away.

I then went to find Selene to make sure she doesn't hate me,when I found her I wanted to tap her on the shoulder so she could turn around but then I noticed that she was telling Mikes best friend about the whole situation and told him to get the message to Mike without me knowing of it.

"WTF?!! Are you being serious now?? When have I ever done something so bad that it would make you go and blurt out all my secrets to people that has no business knowing any of it?"

Without waiting for her reply I turned around and ran out of the house back to my own so I could go listen to music and calm down.
