Sophia felt her knees go weak as she almost fell if not for his firm hands that quickly held her. Time seemed to have stopped for a second as they both looked at each other with everything else fading into the background. The man was very tall probably around 1.82m and Sophia had to raise her neck to see him. Her heartbeat accelerated in her chest and slowly took a more strong but steady rhythm. She just couldn't take her eyes off him and didn't even realize this. Even he stared at her but unlike hers his gaze gave nothing away, his eyes were very cold without any emotions. Then he looked behind her, a murderous glint flashed through his eyes. It came as soon as it went and when he turned his attention back to her she wondered if she had imagined it. "They hurt you?", He suddenly said more like a question as his gaze became more intense and removed some strands of hair from her wet face. "Oh dear God, His voice was like that from an ancient temple. It was clear, deep, and powerful. Sophia just found herself nodding her head subconsciously and staring into his eyes with a confused expression after he questioned her. "Mr. Jude and his men almost peed in their pants as the man's piercing eyes shot back at them. They suddenly set to run but the man's guards immediately pointed their guns at them and more men even came out to join them from a car behind the man's car. It was like they had received an invisible signal. They instantly attacked without mercy and beat the daylight out of the four men. "Please have mercy on us !", they cried in pain. Mr. Jude's voice was the loudest. The young outstanding man in a black suit seemed unaffected by their wails. He then looked at the girl and as if by telepathy she nodded her head and took his hands. She smiled a small genuine smile which caused the intensity in the man's eyes to deepen as he led her towards his car and they drove into the night. Sophia was too shocked to even understand anything. What had just happened? She slowly but carefully looked at the man beside her. He seemed to be in his world as he leaned his head on the headrest of the car and stared ahead. His eyes were mysterious and cold. The intense aura around him was still in the air, it was like a part of him. Looking deeply at him, it suddenly felt like he was unaware of her presence In his car. It was like she had invaded his privacy. It was obvious that he wasn't a simple figure and she couldn't help but feel small and embarrassed. His side profile was so outstanding she felt like she committed a big offense by just staring at him and so she slowly took her eyes off him. Her tiny hands were tightly clasped, one gripping her dress and the other one by her side, she felt truly miserable and useless. Had she been so unlucky that she had to go through what she did today? She sighed and closed her eyes for a second and when she opened them they were completely lifeless. She felt defeated and just laid limp in her seat. At least she got to ride in this fancy car which couldn't have been imagined in her wildest dreams.
