THE EXORCIST

In 1949, priests performed an exorcism on a boy referred to as "Roland Doe," a.k.a. Ronald Hunkeler, in a chilling ordeal that became the real-life inspiration for "The Exorcist." In the picturesque Bel-Nor neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, sits a beautiful, Colonial-style house on Roanoke Drive that was once the home of a boy called Roland Doe, a.k.a. Robbie Mannheim or Ronald Hunkeler. It looks normal on the outside, with an all-brick exterior and white shutters framing the windows. Huge trees and neatly manicured bushes dot the yard. Their 13-year-old boy, believed to be named Ronald Hunkeler (later referred to pseudonymously as “Roland Doe” or “Robbie Mannheim”), was despondent over the loss of his beloved Aunt Harriet. Harriet was a spiritualist who’d taught him many things — including how to use a Ouija board. In early January 1949, shortly after Harriet’s death, Ronald Hunkeler began to experience strange things. He heard scratching sounds coming from the floors and walls of his room. Water dripped inexplicably from pipes and walls. Most troubling of all was that his mattress would suddenly move. Disturbed, Ronald’s family sought the help of every expert they knew. The family consulted doctors, psychiatrists, and their local Lutheran minister, but they were no help. The minister suggested that the family seek the assistance of the Jesuits. Father E. Albert Hughes, the local Catholic priest, asked his superiors’ permission to perform an exorcism on the boy in late February of 1949. The church granted Hughes’ request. To those who love advanced worldbuilding, cross-country adventures, and multiple races and clans, this is the story for you. Be warned, however, as This story does get pretty dark at times, with extremely gruesome and horrific deaths, in surprising and unique ways. Ultimately, I hope to provide something for everyone, especially if you like fantasy.

As always, I read the synopsis before reading the novel, and it didn't fail to disappoint me. It's still has room for improvements, but it got the hook I was looking for. It would also be good if I read about the world you're building, so I will think that this novel is action packed. I was also not quite fond of the first chapter because I thought it would come out strong like a battle scene before transitioning to other scenes to pique the interest of the readere more. Although I enjoyed reading it, it felt a little bit bland. Overall, the plot became interesting the more I read. Good work author! The way the scenes were also described is superb, so I look forward to the development of this novel [img=strong]

The narration is captivating, words choices are good and not so hard to understand for a non-english native speaker, and its very descriptive. The formality of the writing makes it a good read and plot is interesting. Though I'd suggest to break long paragraphs into two coz sometimes it bores the readers and they ended up skipping it. Some readers are like that😊. It's a good read!👏

I do love the descriptive writing and it makes for an interesting experience. The dialogue is pretty smooth, and the the author is good at setting a mood in just a short time. Only complaint is sometimes it feels like the author is rambling and has some filler trying to make up chapters but its pretty good and has plenty of action .
